Disgustingly Cute Pet

At first, when Annabelle planned to get a pet, she was thinking an owl or a cat or a pygmy puff. When she entered she was greeted by a smiling older woman who smells strangely of sugar cookie, in fact she actually managed to make Annabelle genuinely smile at her. The woman's short white hair makes Annabelle envious because, she doesn't think her family would ever let her cut her hair even hakf an inch.

Her genuinely kind words earned her a sugar cookie, which almost made her forget what she came for. A bit saddened by her dwindling time limit, Annabelle found herself sadly smiling at the older woman, before she kindly said goodbye and went on to finding a pet.

As she walks towards the owls, she found herself frowning. None of them attract her or have anything remotely special about themselves except their appearances. Then she went on to the spiders and found herself even more disappointed, spiders are her favorite type of creepy critter and to have to connection will either of them is a blow to the heart. She approaches the pygmy-puffs and sneers at their appearances, despite being so cute Annabelle knows what hudes beneath the exterior. In fact, she almost respects them for deceiving so many people.

Nonetheless, she moves on to the cats. Their deferring appearances attracting a bit of her attention but lose it as soon as two of them lick their private parts, causing her to hiss at them and stare them down. She looks towards where the snakes are held and immediately shakes her head, she knows better than to keep a dangerous animal in the house with her aunt being such a worry wart, besides everyone would throw a fit.

The toads were nothing short of boring and disgusting, in fact one had the nerve to blink at her. Weirdly enough, she found herself looking through the rats. She passed a common rat and stopped abruptly, in front of her is a weirdly cute gray rat. Its nose and tail are a shade of pink and its ears twitching every moment she looks at it. Instantly she feels a pull and is oddly okay with it. "You're a rat but you're cute...Disgustingly Cute but cute nonetheless.", she smiles at the rat with genuine emotion.

Immediately she found herself at the counter, talking rather excitedly with the woman and her husband who looked at her with amused expressions. "I hope you take good care of him, he has quite the appetite. Mostly for breakfast foods, especially bacons." Annabelle finds herself smiling at the woman and reassuring her that she'll take good care of her hungry little companion.

She pays the 4 galleons and 2 sickles with a happy look on her face but her eyes contain much more excitement. As soon as she walks towards Jade, her Aunt and her sister, she starts bragging about her rat that she's chosen name Dez (Short for Dezmond). Her aunt looked at Dez blankly but smiled subtly at how irregularly happy Annabelle is.
