Preptober Prompts 2023 (Week 4, Extra Prompt)

10. The World
Character Prompt: Write about your character's dreams and goals for their life. Why do they want to accomplish this? Do they know how they can do so?
Setting Prompt: Write about your setting's ideal world or situation for the area. Is it possible for them to achieve it?

It is Emeline’s dream to become a professional writer when she grows up. Currently, she is only 15 years old, so there is only so much that she can do, but everyday she works on writing part of a story. She always has a story going, once she finishes one, she immediately starts the next. In her lifetime, she has written some fiction, fantasy, mystery, romance, you name it books! Emeline is quite passionate about all of her writing, and it’s a huge part of her daily life, that no matter what she always does. Emeline hopes that if she practices enough and works on her writing skills that one day she can become an actual, professional, writer. Right now, she is about halfway done a mystery novel, and so far, she is really enjoying it, her writing is doing well. She feels that she can best express her emotions through her writing, and sometimes it can sort of act like a comfort thing for her. Emeline would love to be able to officially publish a book for everyone to be able to read, but she hasn’t been able to so yet. Hoping that if she writes enough, she’ll be able to publish one of her books soon. The only problem is, Emeline doesn’t have an editor, so she must do all of the editing herself, which she is not as good at. No matter what though, she always practices and always does her best to inch slowly closer to achieving her dream.
