A Troubling Encounter
The girl's lavatory. Much cleaner then the second floor's abandoned toilets. What seemed off was the old, oak wood stalls. They felt out of place with the tiled floors, and limestone-covered sinks. It had the potential to be a fairly nice restroom. If only the female students could keep it that way. Words would be written on the mirrors with lipstick. The room was filled with the scents of various perfumes, and they weren't pleasant. It was as if someone sprayed a can of Febreze right into your face. Not to mention that the copper handles on the sinks seemed to be covered in foundation. Hogwarts girls may have magic unlike those in the muggle world, but at the cost of their makeup skills.
Rosalyn walked into the lavatory. Her steps along the tiles would echo throughout the entire room. The restroom was empty. It had been later in the day, 8:30 PM to be exact. Most students would be in their dorms relaxing, or doing extra work in the study hall or library. Rosalyn happened to be out in the grounds when it all of sudden started to rain. Her shoes, hands, and face happened to have a little bit of mud on them. It was best to come here to clean up, rather than bring some of the mud into the dorms.
She would walk over to one of the lime-stone sinks. On the mirror was some writing. "Your makeup doesn't look too well sis." It seems one of those "preppy" girls who enjoys picking on others happened to be here before. Rosalyn turned the knob left of the copper faucet to get some hot water. She would start cleaning off the mirror first. It was blocking her reflection. After cleaning, she noticed just a few dirt spots on her face. She would wash her face off, and it would soon regain it's nice, soft, pale look. She then took her shoes off, put them under the faucet, and washed them. However, she didn't put them back on. Who would put on wet shoes, and ruin their socks?
There wasn't much else she could do after. Her hair was soaking wet, but all there were only a few measly paper towels next to the sinks. They wouldn't really be that helpful. However, she did stuff a few of those paper towels in her shoes. It would help soak up the water a bit. Her robes happened to not have any mud on them, but it was most likely due to the rain washing it off. She took her robe off, leaving her in her under garments. She would try, and squeeze the water out of the soaked robes. Rosalyn knew there was most likely a spell to dry stuff off, but sadly she does not know how to perform it. She would only hope that the robe would have some sort of special, faster, drying capabilities.

A Troubling Encounter
Evangeline disliked the abandoned toilets, though they were much emptier than the girl's lavatory, it wasn't a place that she enjoyed going. The journey to the fourth floor was, however, much longer than the one to the second floor, but it was much more rewarding when she reached her destination. There wouldn't be dirt on the mirrors and rust on the faucets, the floors wouldn't be covered in unused toilet paper and the stalls would be more recently cleaned.
Evangeline pushed the door open, entering with light, purposeful steps. She stopped in her tracks when she spotted another student. Evangeline was confused when she spotted the wet shoes stuffed with paper and the drying robes. Her eyes wandered to the girl that had arranged this whole thing.
The girl's appearance was unusual, to say the least. Her hair was a bright white color, shocking Evangeline when she saw it, her skin was an astoundingly pale color, contrasting with her red eyes. The whole look was something new to Evangeline and for a moment she wondered if the girl was an albino. It would explain the color of her hair and skin, as well as the crimson tone of her eyes. Evangeline was tempted to ask, but the question would be extremely impolite.
"Is the hair natural?" she asked, replacing her question with one that was less unacceptable.

A Troubling Encounter
A noise. Footsteps to be exact. There was another person in here. "Were they in here before? Have they been watching me? Impossible. They must have just entered." Rosalyn turned around slowly, and bestowed upon her eyes was another student. The girl was much taller than Rosalyn, and even other first years she has met. "Abnormally tall first year? A second or third year student perhaps?"
However, the girl was undoubtedly one to be referred to as "beautiful". No, not that. Magnificent. Her dark, medium-length, wavy hair went well with her pale tone. Rosalyn stared right into her eyes. A look so fierce, it could burn a hole through a god. Her read beady orbs were looking deep into those icy pale-blue eyes. Searching for something. Rosalyn had read that you can learn about people by looking into their eyes, however, she didn't see anything of interest so she ended her stare. Still maintaining eye contact, the girl would speak.
A strange question, in this situation at least. A girl in the middle of the bathroom, her clothes wet, and she was almost nude. Maybe the stranger was smart enough to piece them together. If they were in a different setting, the question wouldn't have seemed so strange. Many people ask about the snow-white hair. It seemed to charm them. Her flaming red eyes seemed to attract attention as well.
Rosalyn wasn't well-aware enough to know that her features were uncommon. She never thought much about them.
Rosalyn's soft red lips would open, letting out a short but long breath. Then she replied."Yes this is my natural hair." Her voice was flat, monotone, even lack-luster. Rosalyn was curious to see how the girl would react to the voice. Many people that were interested her hair, would instantly get thrown off by the voice. They would think such a short, innocent looking girl would have a cute sounding voice. They would be dumbfounded.

A Troubling Encounter
The voice of the girl was a surprise. She wouldn't expect someone so unique to have such a dull voice. If Evangeline hadn't spent hours sitting through long, mind-numbing conversations when she was young, the voice would have bored her. Evangeline didn't expect the conversation to be long, just a few words spoken between two girls that barely know each other, but she could have been mistaken.
Evangeline's eyes wandered to the wet clothes that were drying in the bathroom. She was slightly curious to know why the girl had decided to remove her robes there, the girl's dormitory would have been much more suitable. However, Evangeline didn't question the girl, it was strange, but Evangeline couldn't care less about the drying robes.
Evangeline studied the girl for another moment, her eyes flitting from the girl's white hair to her gleaming red eyes. She was still curious about the Ravenclaw's features, but Evangeline didn't ask any further questions. Evangeline was sure that the girl had received more than enough inquiries about her appearance, it seemed like it would be a subject lots of people were drawn to. She imagined that the Ravenclaw must have been bored of it at that point.
"Evangeline Pierce," she stated, forming some sort of introduction. It was simple and short, but it was good enough for Evangeline, she didn't like to drag things out much more than she had to.

A Troubling Encounter
The girl seemed to be observing Rosalyn and the clothes behind her. Looking into people's eyes did seem to prove useful after all. She was expecting to hear more questions about her appearance at this point, or questions about why she had her robes off to dry. "Wouldn't the dormitory be a better place to be at?" That's what Rosalyn assumed would come out of the girl's mouth at some point. To her surprise, however, she received a simple name.
It was a name fitting of the girl's appearance. It gave a sense of dominance. Well not quite, but that was the best way Rosalyn could think about it. Her introduction was short and simple, maybe Evangeline was similar to herself. Keeping sentences short and brief was common from Rosalyn. Mostly due to her inability to take multiple breaths when talking. Realizing she was getting off track, she would blink hard a few times. She would then focus her fiery red orbs on Evangeline's eyes once again. She never seemed to waver when hit with the stare before, she was interesting. Rosalyn knew this would be a person worthy of getting to know; she had a feeling that Evangeline could offer new information and future "exploration" opportunities.
"Rosalyn Mairead." Short and precise, just like the girl before her.
