Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 1
Mikael felt a frown pull across his lips as he watched the dark-haired boy hiss something at Valentin. His brows furrowed slightly together in concentration. It hardly seemed normal for a boy to be able to hiss. Hogwarts students were always a bit strange, so maybe this was normal. Whatever the reasoning for the boy's weird actions, it seemed to upset the white-haired boy greatly. Had it been a threat? A threatening call of viciousness before a battle. Did this weak-willed boy think they were not advanced in strategy? In battle? A call of superior power. Commination. Divine intervention threatens the sinners before them. Mikael looked back towards Romeo his eyes narrowing slightly in hostility.
"Why would a commoner have immortality?" he asked his tone confused and unrepentant. His gaze slowly slid away from Romeo to Valentin as he spoke. His blue eyes were a deep empty ocean. Consuming everything in their grasp. A siren that dragged its prey deep beneath the icy waters to watch the struggle slow. "The being made us in his image." he mumbled out. Barely audible amongst the crying and yelling about him. A frown pulled at his lips as he looked down at his hand. It felt so unreal. The way his pale skin drastically contrasted with the green grass. The being said he had a destiny. Something that he needed to understand and figure out. Ignoring the crying boy as he fell against him dramatically, in favor of looking back up toward the brown-haired boy. All he knew was this.. this felt right. If eh had it within himself, he would have been able to smile. An indescribable look hung upon his face instead. Mikael looked back down at the inconsolable boy who stained his sweater with salty tears. An indifferent look on his face as he took his free arm and patted the top of the boy's head. Patting him as if he were a dog.
Mikael glanced up in surprise as he noticed a brown-haired girl standing in front of him. She seemed far meeker than the dark-haired boy had been when asking to kiss him. His eyes were slightly wide in surprise. Unsure why he continued to be taken by surprise every time someone came up to him. He guessed that was the premise of this weird English game? Spin a bottle and kiss someone's hand? The need to blend in came back into the forefront of his mind. Mikael could hardly call the earlier events as blending in. The boy's face relaxed into a more stoic expression. Offering his hand up to her he waited awkwardly for her to do something. "Yes.." he would offer after a few moments.

Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 1
EXPLANATION
Reducio
›Students are separated into small randomized groups (8-ish per group) for ease of moderation and to limit the chaos of mass threads. There are 2 kinds of groups, Y1-Y3 and Y4-Y7.
›Each round, students will (ICly) take turns spinning a bottle to determine a partner (determined by me OOCly with randomized rolls).
›Round A: Players will have 1 week to RP their character's action. God modding is NOT allowed. There are 2 actions to choose from: kiss/retreat. Selecting 'kiss' means you kiss your partner on the lips, cheek, or hand. If you kiss, you obtain 3 good beans. If you retreat, you get a random roll by me to see if you obtain 1 good bean or 1 bad bean. Bad beans count for nothing, you just got bad luck. Good beans are saved until the very end of the game, where numerous prizes are revealed that you can choose to purchase with your good beans. Please keep track of how many good beans you have at the bottom of your post. If you forget to do so, it's fine, I can figure it out at the end.
›Round B: Once players RP their character's action towards their partner (it's always the first name listed), targeted students will then choose whether to accept the kiss or retreat. Remember, the point of the game is to get as many beans as you can! But if you retreat, you will also have a chance to obtain beans too. If your partner doesn't post in time, you will automatically get 1 good bean, so you don't feel like you're missing out on the fun. If your partner asks to kiss and you retreat, both of you are considered to have retreated and a roll will be done for your bean.
›Round A and B repeat in this way with a newly randomized assigned targets. Students will always have one week to submit their posts.
›Failure to post by a round's deadline will result in the assumption that the character froze up and declined to continue. They will be removed from the game. You can always rejoin though!
›All IC rules still apply and IC consequences are possible depending on the situation. Site rules and rating will also always apply. All actions/descriptions must comply with them.
›Prizes will be announced at the end of the game. Thank you for participating and I hope you enjoy your time!
┏ ┓Ever since the game had started, things had been steadily going downhill for Valentin, Romeo, Mikael and Ginyami. Tone wondered how they'd gotten paired up together in the same game. It really had been all random, he hadn't specifically made it happen like this. But with the addition of Hanako messing around with Valentin... things started to get out of hand and eventually a huge fight began to happen. Tone was about to get in the way to try and calm things down but suddenly it all petered out just as fast as it had begun. Hanako left the game and things started to calm down again.
What on earth had just gone on?! Next time he'd have to make sure these guys wouldn't all be together in the same game anymore. It was like a landmine waiting to explode whenever someone came close. But at least they'd made it through a few rounds. With things having become awkward, Tone decided to end the game a little early for everyone. They probably had other things to do too as it was summer camp. "Can I get your attention everyone? Thank you for coming to the game. I know it's a bit early but I think I'll end the game for now. Hopefully, everyone had fun! If you have any good beans from your time, please see me afterward and I'll reveal the prizes I prepared for you all. You can bid on them and possibly win some! Even if you don't win any of the prizes, you can turn in your beans for chocolate frogs. So everyone will definitely get something as long as you obtained at least 1 good bean during your time here. Thank you again for coming!" Tone told them all and then headed over to the makeshift stand he'd set up earlier near a large tree trunk. The 5 prizes were covered by a pretty cloth and a large cauldron was placed on the ground beneath the table that held lots of chocolate frogs.┗ ┛

Spin the Bottle Beans! - Group 1

"Why would a commoner have immortality?" asked Mikael with genuine confusion.
“He saved my life, Mishka. If not for him, I would be dead now. I told you, just like I told you about Fima. We are still fragile creatures. Just so, if we want Fima to live, we have to be careful and make an effort… Fima…”
"The being made us in his image," Mikael went on muttering, and Valentin submersed his eyes into a dark corner of his friend’s shoulder. What exactly had the Norwegian’s bizarre upbringing done to him…? Valentin could only grasp at the faintest hints escaping through Mikael’s tenuous contact with the world around him. It was, therefore, only with shock that Valentin watched as the dark-haired boy offered his hand to the girl approaching for a kiss. There was no protection to be had from Valya now, what with Mikael giving of himself freely to her.
“….” Sloughing off Mikael’s arm, Valentin could only watch with blank eyes. Clearly the girl was completely oblivious to the loud and dramatic scene happening right in front of her eyes, but then, had the whole day not been passing like a fever dream? Only in dreams could Valentin accept without question how the meek girl was not put off in the slightest by Mikael’s terrible presence, inserting herself into the scene without even a casual word to excuse the interruption. Was unreality not the only explanation for such incongruous behavior?
Laying down and staring up into the zenith of the heavens, Valentin knew he didn’t belong here. Not only was everything about the game itself a nightmare, but he couldn’t overcome some stabbing feelings of urgency telling him that there was something important he was forgetting. He didn’t feel like himself – didn’t feel real in the slightest. Was this what it was like to be Mikael? Was the threat to Romeo's life real, or would it pass with all the impermanence of a hallucination?

Mikael stared at the top of Valentin's head with a blank look as the boy forced his way into his side. As if he were trying to dig into him, force himself into his rib cage. Did he want to feel warm? Mikael could understand the quest for warmth in a cold world. Surrounded in the icy waters of his hometown he could see the appeal of flesh against flesh. He too grasped onto Yefim, his savior, soaking wet and shivering. Trembling for a sense of understanding and purpose. As the boy continued to speak, mumbling and drawn out, he could not help the frown that pulled at his lips. His gaze flicked up towards the bear that stood away from them. If he closed his eyes he could imagine the steam coming out of the maw of a powerful predator.
It seemed odd that a predator would save someone. Someone as fragile as Valentin, though, Valentin had his own sense. A white snake, venomous and unrelenting. What did Valentin see in the other boy? To be so scared, but yet to still defend. He could be stronger. The boy's brows furrowed in determination. He could be a predator too. The boy glanced towards Valentin as he continued to speak. Irritation dully hit him like a butter knife. To bring up Yefim in such a way felt like a crime. Blasphemy.
He was not too sure if he was supposed to feel anything when he felt a soft hand grip onto his fingers. Pulling his hand up for a kiss in a gentle motion. Maybe his heart should be fluttering as nervousness pulled deep within his chest. Pulling him down under the water of insensibility. Maybe he should feel glad that she was not screaming and running away from him. Something he had grown accustomed to.
Mikael blinked at the girl before turning away slightly as the boy who had started this all ended this weird Western game. Dismissing her without a second thought, as the boy untangled himself from the white-haired boy, he could not help but wallow in the nothingness of his being. The boy throwing off his arm stabbed his heart with an unknown feeling. His brows pulled upward as he watched the boy lay upon the ground. As he stood up, he wondered to himself if he should say something. Reach out metaphorically and physically. Maybe it would have been something he would have done a year or two ago, but now... Mikael frowned before turning away and walking down the path. Sometimes the best thing to do is to regroup.
