Rosalyn walked into the study room, and it was as empty. It was a bit later in the day, and most students would be in the dorms having fun. However, Rosalyn was asked by a professor to help another student with their studies. Normally she wouldn't accept a task like this because she has a hard time talking with people, however, she didn't want to refuse a request by a professor. She also believed this could be away for her to learn more. Although, Rosalyn wasn't informed of who the student was or what they needed help with. She could only hope that she would be able to help them with their studies.
Rosalyn walked over to one of the desks, sat down, and began to read a book. "The Art of War", one of her favorites. Rosalyn wasn't interested in violence at all, she despised it. However, she was interested in learning how the mind of a military strategist work. Being able to come up with a solution even when the situation is against you was something that interested Rosalyn. While Rosalyn herself was regarded to be smart, she wasn't an "on-the-fly thinker." She would generally have to think for a good while before coming up with solutions to situations that served problematic.
After reading through a couple pages, Rosalyn looked up at the clock. She was at least 10 minutes early. She slightly hoped the student would show up, Rosalyn was terrible at being social. She would start to get slightly nervous, but she put her focus back into her book in order to ease her mind.

The girl had outstanding grades, yet she was informed by the teacher she will be getting a study buddy. Perhaps the professor noticed her lack of social interaction and decided to create one on his own. Whatever it was, Ophelia had to go to the study room now. She was told the other girl’s name and that they will be helping eachother.
Not being sure why this so called Rosalyn needed her assistence and why Rosalyn needed to help Ophelia, but it would be no use quarrelling about it.
Pushing the wooden door, slowly stepping into the study room, blue gaze searched. It didn’t take long since the room appeared almost empty. I figure with bright hair, stretching to her thies, resting on on her shoulders and the surace of the chair. Skin pale, with gentle face features, pair of red orbs scanning what was in front of them. A robe with blue strokes and a raven crest engraved on its chest, appeared to be a wizard of Ravenclaw.
Ophelia moved slowly, hands in her pockets, approaching the white-haired child, who partially reminded her of her mother. She has white hair as well, beautiful skin, pale and soft. Oh how she missed her mother.
Figure sat on the neighbour chair, leaving a second of silence, before slightly tinted lips began talking.
“You Rosalyn?”

Rosalyn looked up as she heard the sound of the door opening. In walked a girl wearing the normal school robe, but hers had yellowish strokes and a badger crest upon her chest. A Hufflepuff student. Rosalyn assumed the other girl would have been someone from another house. Most of the others in Ravenclaw never required help with their studies. Rosalyn started looking at the girl's features. Soft, pale skin, just like herself. She also had hair similar to Rosalyn's, but not as long and more grey. The girl also had deep, blue eyes, it reminded Rosalyn of the ocean. Rosalyn was slightly interested in the girl, she looked like a character out of a story book.
As the girl sat down, Rosalyn closed her book, and turned towards her. Rosalyn stared into the stranger's eyes. Rosalyn had read how important eye contact was, but she seems to always take it too far. Then, the girl had spoke. "Yes, Rosalyn is my name. I was told that you needed help with something? The professor never informed me of your name or what you required assistance with." Rosalyn's voice was as monotone and emotionless as always; something that throws a lot of people off, especially since they believe Rosalyn to have a cute personality based on her looks.
Rosalyn quickly noticed the girl didn't have any books with her. "Maybe she needs help with a spell." she thought to herself. However, Rosalyn didn't know any spells herself due to her being admitted into Hogwarts late. A strange predicament Rosalyn found herself in.

The snow-haired child had a rather monotone voice, but it didn't bother Ophelia, in fact, it kinda suited the peaceful appearance of the ravenclaw wizard. She then mentioned something about helping, looking at some books facing in front of her. She appeared to be thinking about something, but the pale girl's expression didn't change.
A somewhat confused face crawled its way on Ophelia's face. Needing help? Help where?
A sigh escaped from her lips, knowing the teacher probably planned this study meetup. They both showed up now, so leaving would be a waste of time. She he didn't know exactly what they will be doing, but extra studying can't really do bad to a student. Gaze switching, trying to find something to focus on, lips then broke the silence:
"So, um...do you need help with anything?"
Trying to ask the girl what she wanted to study first, not minding in what order they would revise the subjects. Putting hand in her robe, she searched for her notebook, pulling it out of her inner pocket. The girl seemed alright, so spending just a little time with her to suit the teacher's plan didn't make Ophelia feel troubled. Besides, if she studied now, she would have less work in the future, right?

The girl had a weird expression on her face when asked if she needed help. Rosalyn didn't really understand why, maybe she had said something incorrectly. The girl had sighed now as well, Rosalyn took notice to her tinted lips. The girl would be considered beautiful among most men. The girl then asked a peculiar question. Rosalyn was very confused. She felt confident that the teacher said that she would be helping the girl, not the other way around.
All of a sudden, Rosalyn was caught in another one of her strange deep-thought surges. Her mind would be going through all the information she's ever obtained. It happened quite frequently to Rosalyn. When she was younger, she visited a doctor to see what the problem was, but they didn't even know. They said they assume it was her sub-conscious mind trying to take over. Rosalyn would begin to quickly mumble everything she was thinking as if she were in a trance. "When it comes to evaluating arguments, there are specific principles and criteria that you shou - Learn. That is the only thing tha - to rule is not because they are most likely to be in the rig-" each of her thoughts would get cutoff by the next. Her eyes would began to get slightly brighter the further she went on. This would go on for a few more seconds until she stopped. Rosalyn then took a look around the room, and then back at the girl. "I forgot to ask what your name was."

Ravenclaw's lips mumbled strange things, Ophelia barely interpreting what they could mean. An interesting person the girl was indeed, the whole scene in general, seemed a pinch confusing. Blue gaze switched around the room, waiting for the white-haired child to snap back to reality. She leaned her head on her hand, waiting a few seconds or so until Rosalyn appeared back in their world.
Red orbs shifted around their surroundings, lips started speaking as if nothing happened, asking for the Hufflepuff's name. Hands in her pockets, locks tossed to the side, eyebrows still in a rather serious position, she then spoke, answering with a somewhat jaded tone, like speaking of a habit:
"Ophelia."
Name always sounding so smooth, the gray-haired girl liked it, tongue pronouncing it with ease. Taking one hand out of its pocket, fingers fixed escaping discolored locks behind her ear, she let silence crawl between them for a few seconds as she then continued, trying to be productive:
"I don't have any problems with my studies, but we could revise a little."
Making a proposition beneficial to both sides, being prepared for grading sooner is actually a quite useful action, putting them to advantage and giving fewer problems in the future.

The girl seemed to have a serious look on her face. It was strange. Most people Rosalyn had encountered, tended to be over-energetic. She figured it was something natural to wizards and witches. Perhaps not. The girl also seemed to sound bored. Was this the wrong person perhaps? However Rosalyn took an interest to the girl's name. The meaning of the name Ophelia was "help". Rosalyn also remembered another definition: "A girl who you think you know by her beautiful but intimidating appearance but you really do not at all." It fitted quite well. She had a slight intimidating appearance, however, it just seemed as if she was bored. Rosalyn doesn't know her at all either. Ophelia was quite appealing. Most men could fall before her just by her looks.
It was silent. The only sound being heard was that of the clock. Ophelia then broke the silence. She offered a proposition. However, Rosalyn didn't require help with any of her studies either. Classes at Hogwarts seemed to be fairly easy, nothing too out of ordinary. Despite the magic aspects of the classes of course. It doesn't hurt to revise though, she would also be helping Ophelia out. "I do not mind going back over some class material with you. Is there anything specific you wanna look at again? A book, a spell, whatever comes to mind." voice still monotone and lackluster as always.

Blue gaze noticed Rosalyn scanned her as thoughts seemed to be getting the best of the red-eyed child again. After a period of time, pale lips opened again, monotone voice speaking once more. It had a relaxing tone to it, really, as the white-haired girl asked Ophelia what they should study first. Giving it a quick thought, she really had no preference where to start, so her lips answered a few seconds later:
"I guess we could just start reading our notes first?"
Exchanging notes with a student may be useful to see one's other perspective of things, understanding the subject even greater, making homework and grades an easier task.
Orbs took a glimpse of the Rosalyn again. She appeared educated, quiet and rather shy. Perhaps one was a reason she got chosen for Ravenclaw, but Ophelia did not fancy stereotypes since she already knew many judgemental people didn't see her as a Hufflepuff. Every person got assigned to a house for a certain purpose, a purpose one might haven't seen, but the Sorting hat did.
Houses did not define wizards in Ophelia's opinion, they were all the same under the different colored robes and sooner or later, even the most overcritical humans would see at least a pinch of sense in this kind of thinking.

Ophelia again surprising Rosalyn with her speech. Reading notes. A slight problem had just occurred. Rosalyn happens to not take notes. She memorizes the entire lecture professors would give. Hyperthymesia Syndrome, or the ability to remember things in vivid detail. Rosalyn was diagnosed with it at the age of five. She had it worse, or better in a way, then the few others diagnosed with it. Rather than just remembering important instances in perfect detail, she remembered everything. This was the cause behind her random surges. They could be quite painful sometimes, but she's learned to handle it.
Rosalyn stared at Ophelia for a moment, thinking of an answer. She didn't want to waste the girl's time. She had come all the way out it, and it would be a shame for both of them to leave without accomplishing anything. She figured a direct approach would be for the best. "I memorize the lectures. I have no notes." Rosalyn had a good idea of how she would react to the response. Most people laugh, a few others will simply walk away confused. How could someone memorize an entire class? That's what they would usually think. However, having no notes in itself wasn't much of a problem. She could just read out her notes from memory. Although it would seem difficult to try and compare notes this way.

Ophelia expected her to give a different answer but the words which the white-haired girl spoke actually sparked curiosity. Perhaps Rosalyn had increased hearing memory or maybe she even had a photographic one. Ophelia too had a great skill of remembering, but wouldn't call it to such extremes like the Ravenclaw next to her seemed to. Eyebrows still forming a rather intimidating position, expression was somewhat mysterious, yet the girl's words sounded anything but mean:
"Cool."
Not knowing what Rosalyn wanted to do, the gray-haired girl wandered about one's opinion. Did she perhaps want to go back to her dorm and rejected her ideas for that reason? Maybe she did want to study but didn't know where to begin? Deciding to hear the opinion from the girl instead of speculating, blue gaze contacted red orbs for a moment as lips asked:
"Um, what do you want to do?"
Then, vision shifted away, observing its surroundings. Some time had passed since they began their conversation, noticing numerous figures left, only little of them remained, scattered around the study room. Ophelia didn't mind though, in fact, she was rather fond of a smaller mass of people, surprised that there were quite a few of them still here even after many left.
