Min-seo was back again. What a confusing girl she was, coming back so soon. Her long black hair was tied in a low bun, a few tendrils escaping in the front of her face. She was in a cream silk dress with a ribbon around the middle as always when dancing. Many people had come in to watch her dance before, but she still was nervous when people did, so she closed the door. She sat at the old chair on the wall and took off the flats on her small, delicate feet and started to lace up the creamy pink pointe shoes. She smiled and made sure they were secure. Her toes felt a little pinch, but it was not anything serious. She was supposed to feel a little pain, or she wouldn't be doing it correctly. A small smile appeared on the full pink lips on her porcelain face as she went through the songs on her phone. She sighed and picked Pas De Deux from the Nutcracker. Sure, this was a dance for two, but the song was still beautiful and fun to dance to on your own. Min-seo slowly walked to the middle of the room before the music began to start. Before she could start dancing, however, she heard the door slam open.

Tremaine had spent most of his day exploring the grounds outside. He had spent an inordinate amount of time trying to catch a glimpse of the giant squid, and once he had been thoroughly chilled to the bone he had decided to come back in. He wandered through some of the empty halls until he found himself looking at a pair of impressive wooden doors. Wasting no subtlety, he gave a great heave. The doors swung open with surprising grace and ease, and Tremaine barely stopped himself from falling forward.
Looking up, he could see a delicate girls standing to the side of the room, her ebony bun contrasting starkly with her flowing cream dress and itsy-bitsy pink shoes. Tremaine was taken aback, but that was never an excuse to abandon his manners, and after a moment he recovered himself and strode forward. "Hi! I'm sorry to barge in, didn't know anyone was in here. I've just been getting a good look at the school. It's sublime, isn't it?" He smiled in what he hoped might be a charming manner. "I'm Jarrow, by the way, Tremaine Jarrow. You might've heard of my mom, the Jarrow family had a long history in the wizarding world."
He just had to go and say that, didn't he? Either he would come off as conceited, or he would come off as oblivious to muggles and conceited.

Min-seo jumped slightly, clasping her hands together on her chest as a sort of comfort to help her calm down. She gave a small smile to the boy. Her attire made her look ethereal in a way. The music still played in the background. The boy had what seemed to be redish hair. She slowly made her way towards the boy. She smiled timidly at him. "It is. I did my exploring yesterday, actually. It's quite beautiful." she said in her soft, elegant voice. She seemed to get it from her mother. It did quite help at her Godfather's cocktail parties when spoken to, at least she did yell at the guests. She just helped around the house and tried not to bother anyone. She tilted her head slightly, thinking of the name. "Jarrow? Yes, I have heard the name before. It's a pleasure to meet you, Tremaine. My name is Kim. Min-seo Kim, and my parents probably aren't known, but my Godfather is. Jin Fujimoka, or at least I think he is." she said with a small smile. The boy seemed nice enough. Min-seo wondered what house he was in. Not that it mattered, of course. She was open to making new friends in any house.

The girl seemed rather shy, so Tremaine gave her an encouraging smile. She was sort of like a fawn, eternally kind and slow to trust. Or perhaps the girl was simply disoriented. If she was a muggle-born, she might be overwhelmed by the whole new world.
He listened to her as she told him she had already been exploring. My, but wasn't her voice smooth. Even her voice to seemed to exemplify the deer-like qualities Tremaine had initially noted about her. Judging by the quiet contemplation of her and the way she mulled over her answers, he supposed he would have placed her in Ravenclaw. Though Hufflepuff was certainly a possibility. He himself had his house proudly displayed on his robes in the form of soft red edges and a golden lion emblem. But this girl wasn't wearing her robes, and so Tremaine could only guess at what she might be.
Tremaine puffed up a bit as the girl told him that she had indeed heard of his family. His mother and grandmother had both been influential at the ministry, and it was only natural that their names would gain some renown.
Continuing, the girl introduced herself and her family. "Pleasure to make you acquaintance, Miss Kim," he replied, hoping he sounded refined. "I've heard of your godfather, yes. May I ask what you're doing in the..." He looked around, trying to figure out where he was. "In this room?"

Min-seo smiled. Gryffindor. She had been so stupid before as to not look at his robes adorning the emblem and the scarlet. He seemed the type. Brave. He was very polite, probably because he came from a richer and more important family. She, of course, hadn't met the Jarrow family, but she couldn't help wondering if her Godfather ever met the family. He probably hadn't, but it would be quite interesting if he did. She hoped that he didn't change his opinion of her, for she was in the house of the serpent. She didn't know why the Sorting Hat would ever think to place her there, for she thought she was the opposite of all their traits. The only family members she knew to be in Slytherin were her Godfather. Maybe the Sorting Hat saw something in her? Was it because of her rich pure-blood family? But there were other rich families in different houses. She didn't know, really. She gave a small smile to Tremaine and put her delicate hands behind her back. "Well, I actually came here to dance. I've been multiple times before, and I just come here to relive stress. I hadn't been in a while." she said in her soft voice.

Tremaine noticed Min-seo's gaze on the red trimming of his robes, and he stood up a little taller. Being part of the greatest house in Hogwarts was certainly an honor, but you had a lot to live up to. After all, wasn't Hogwarts the house of the greatest person in wizarding history? The illustrious Chosen One, savior of all, had been on of the "brave at heart". Not to mention a number of his companions, all of whom had started out in Gryffindor and gone on to illustrious careers.
Tremaine didn't think he could have being in any other houses. Hufflepuff, the glorified extras. Ravenclaw, the studious and boring. Or, worst of all, Slytherin, the house of evil. He didn't care what anyone said, the fact remained that the number of students who had turned out bad in Slytherin was alarmingly high.
For now, though, all he was doing was making polite conversation with this young lady. He smiled as she told him what she was doing here. "Do you like to dance a lot?" he asked, his mind turning to the exciting school dances that he would no doubt participate in during his stay here. Perhaps... "Would you show me some moves? I'm sure you're a beautiful dancer."

Min-seo internally sighed when he held his head proudly when she looked at his robes. He probably would think she was a terrible person if she revealed her house. She'd better not bring it up. She felt sad, actually, that the boy would be disgusted if she revealed her house. She shook the thoughts out of her mind. This was not the time to think about that. She would be fine if she didn't say anything, and he got to know her first. She looked at him with her dark brown eyes with specks of gold in them and smiled as to approve of his house in a way. She didn't think people should be judged on houses alone. It's the solo personality of the person. But oh well, hopefully, he wouldn't leave her if she was a Slytherin. She tilted her head to the side at the boy's question. "I do like to dance a lot. Mostly ballet, but contemporary as well." she said with a smile on her face. She did a double take. "Teach you? Well, I don't suppose why not." she said, still smiling. She heard the melody still playing in the background and quickly ran to the source to start the music over. "What kind of dance would you like to learn? I need to know before I teach you of course." she said, her back turned to him as she fiddled with the music device.

Tremaine noticed that Min-seo seemed sad when he showed of his house colors. His mind immediately began searching for answers, and he came up with one fairly quickly: She must have been hoping to be in Gryffindor, and had found herself in some other house instead. Something excruciatingly boring, like Hufflepuff. He couldn't help feeling sorry for her, imagining what it would be like to find himself in some other house.
Min-seo told him that she liked to dance, and some of the types of dance she liked to do. Tremaine simply nodded, not really sure what either of those types of dance consisted of. He knew that people who did ballet generally wore tights and did spins and splits, but that was about it.
Min-seo seemed surprised when he asked her to show him some moves, but maybe a little pleased. Tremaine figured, should this girl be as skilled as he hoped, that he would be pretty popular when the time came around for school dances. Or, at least, he would be able to pull off a couple of dances without stepping on anyone's toes.
Min-seo asked Tremaine what kind of dance he wanted to learn, and he pondered this. What kinds of dancing did students do at school dances? He decided his best bet would be to ask her. "Well, I dunno, what kinds of dances are popular nowadays? I mean, I can do a few waltz steps."
Now Tremaine was getting excited. He tried to show Min-seo a few steps, but in his excitement he tripped over his own feet and ended up just sort of stumbling sideways. He stopped quickly, looking a little red. "A few."

Min-seo noticed Tremaine look at her as she looked at the robes. She looked at him with a small smile before looking away. He must be confused. She sighed slightly before moving on from the topic. He asked her which dances were popular these days while she fiddled with the music. She looked back at him. He mentioned waltz and tried to do a few steps but tripping. She fought back a giggle. "Well, a waltz can always come in handy, I guess we could start with that." she said with a kind smile. She couldn't wear her pointe shoes for this, could she? She guessed she could, but it would be a bit difficult. She decided to change into flat ballet shoes to make it easier on both of them. She untied the pink ribbons on her shoes and slipped them off her delicate feet. She then grabbed the flats out of her bag and put them on. These were way more comfortable. She walked over to him again and stood in front of him. She noticed he was a bit taller then she was, but not by much. "You said you knew a bit of waltz, correct? Can you show me what you know?" she asked. She grabbed the end of her skirt and put her hand up, hoping that he knew where to put everything.

Tremaine smiled sheepishly at the look on Min-seo's face, nodding as she told him that waltz might come in handy. He had learned most of his moves from his grandfather, who had always been slightly enamored of that particular style of dance. He distinctly remembered a time when he was about seven or eight years old and his grandparents were throwing a Christmas party at their large house in Jarrow. His grandfather had stood and asked him to dance. And they had waltzed through the night, the music from the live band wafting through the air.
Tremaine was a bit rusty nowadays, and his grandfather hadn't waltzed in two years, since his back troubles had first started and he threw his back out. But it would be exciting to re-learn, and now that he thought of it, he supposed waltzing was a rather romantic way to spend a school dance.
Watching Min-seo change her shoes, he couldn't imagine why she would need different shoes for different dances. Although it might be difficult to waltz in the shoes she had just been wearing. He had always just worn his normal shoes when he was waltzing, and once he had even done it barefoot.
At the request to show her what he knew, Tremaine immediately stepped forward. Well, this part was easy. He moved his hand up to hers and held it, and then put his other hand on her left shoulder blade. He started to move, trying not to trip himself up.
"I haven't waltzed in a long time," he admitted, getting the footwork wrong yet again. "And I've never led. I used to waltz with my grandfather."
