Time to Get Spooky! Group 3 Oktoberfest Closed

The group had nearly reached the castle when Anastasia heard Ami asked where they were going. "That is an excellent question, Ami!" Anastasia said brightly. It was definitely a good question and Anastasia rather wished she knew the answer to it. She knew a little more than her group but not very much, and that rather annoyed her. Who didn't tell people leading a tour where they were going? Like, honestly, who did that? Then again, this was Hogwarts, so it was rather abnormal, even for a magical school. "We're going to the stairs to meet a ghost, who will hopefully be a bit more punctual than our first spectral friend."

Upon hearing Scott's musings, Anastasia glanced at the Gryffindor boy and nodded. She certainly hoped that was the case. "I hope you're right, but ghosts are an odd lot," she stated. They were rather strange, especially considering that they had chosen to spend their afterlife at school. Some of them were quite terse to students and muttered about how youth these days were soft while others seemed to think that they were still school children. One thing Anastasia knew for certain was that she was not going to be a ghost after she died, or if she did, she'd haunt someplace that wasn't Hogwarts. 

Elena said something quite along the line of what Anastasia had just been thinking and she laughed a little. She was glad to know that she wasn't the only one who found the ghosts a bit standoffish. "One would think if they chose to spend their afterlife at Hogwarts, they could at least talk to students occasionally," Anastasia said, smirking a little. Frankly, she didn't mind the ghosts not speaking to her, in fact, she was quite amicable to that arrangement. 

The group entered the castle and Anastasia lead the assortment of Gryffindors and Hufflepuffs to the first staircase she could find. Now, to find that ghost...

She followed the prefect as they made it closer to the castle the entrance finally coming into view and she breathed a sigh of relief. The warm air of the insides of the castle greeted her as Elena trekked into Hogwarts following the group casting a waywards glance at the route behind them. She smiled as a thought occured to her shaking her head. Her parents would never dare allow her to go on such an outing, that was just their style. They did not believe that partcipating in such trivial things were of benefit and if someone even tried to explain to them that it was just a bit of fun, they would be shut down instantly. So in a sense, she was already enjoying this little adventure they were having even if she didn't exactly get along with some of the people. It was just like any other school, you were going to have your pros and cons.

The Gryffindor began scanning the walls and paintings that seemingly moved, she had gotten used to that quickly enough, after all, what were the chances of a ghost just popping out of a nearby wall to scare them all as a prank? After all, ghosts did retain their personalites after death which in her opinion, was a very tragic thing as most of them seemed to be grumpy and cold towards the human population."It's another riddle, isn't it?"She asked almost expecting the answer to be a yes, not that she was complaining, they were fun, little things to solve but she wondered if this one would present something unexpected, she felt oddly confident after the last riddle, a strange feeling, she wasn't used to being the one to speak up first, this school really was beginning to change her.

It was all back to the castle again, it seemed. It was at this point that Scott began to wonder if they were actually looking for something in particular, or if it would just be the one riddle after the other for the rest of the night. Not that he cared too much about that. All that really mattered now was that his arms were getting chilly, and so he crossed them for the last bit of hill to hold and warm his shoulders.
The boy began to pick up pace, fetching up with Anastasia at the front of the little group, and ushering for Ami, who'd seemed just the strangest tad distant the last while, to do the same thing until they reached the impressive building.

"Oh mercy, it was getting real cold! I sure hope this next one won't simply send us back out there again.. Although, bet they'd do it for a laugh. Stairs then, was it?" He slapped his sides when he no longer needed to hold himself, because although the castle had always been cold at night- the winds could no longer reach him.

"It's another riddle, isn't it?"

Elena was asking, and though he didn't know, Scott started nodding his head. "Probably will be. Think you could solve this one, too? Because, I'm sorry to say, I probably won't be much of a help. It'll be up to you and Ami.. and maybe Quinn, too, I don't know how clever he is!" Scott laughed, gave Quinn an honest smile, and began circling the foot of the nearest staircase- knowing that at least trying to find this thing was something he could do. Ami tried the same, walking up it some ten steps to get a better view of the hall.
