Entrance to the Library Closed

Upon his entrance to Hogwarts, Matthew had many different things in mind. His father had told him of the mysteries and adventure that awaited him. Matthew, power hungry and craving knowledge, knew exactly where to go first. His father had told him of the colossus library kept at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, with enchanted books that could bite, or scream. Directly after his first ever dinner at Hogwarts, Matthew followed an older Ravenclaw to the library. Upon taking a deep breath and stepping into the library, Matthew had his breath taken away. The massive store of thousands of books made Matthew stare in awe, astounded. He could not wait to read all of the wonderful books in the whole collection. Grabbing the first book he could find, he started reading. Sitting there for hours and hours, learning about all of the famous aurors who have been through Hogwarts. Aspiring to be an auror himself, Matthew was fascinated with reading about all of the valiant things done by the aurors. He stayed there all night until called back to the dormitory. Before leaving, however, he checked out as many books as he could carry and left with a leaning tower of books in his arms, no doubt about to have a sleepless night reading to gain as much information as he could possibly gain.

(hope you don't mind me jumping in)
So many of them.
Pushing the double wooden doors, this was the first thought that escaped the girl's mind as she gazed upon dozens of shelves. It was her first time visiting the library and its gigantic mass took her by surprise. In the middle of the room, there was a library's corridor, there were refined wooden tables, plenty filled with stacks of books. A large window was shining at the back end of the library, aiding candles and chandeliers with a side set of windows on the left, attracting curious eyes to gaze upon the Great Lake.

Inhaling the smell of wood, Ophelia decided to find some books that would enliven her interests. Walking between narrow rows, searching through thick shelving filled with millions of books, gaze caught an enticing word: Dragons.
Raising an eyebrow, the girl grabbed the book and took a closer look. Beige, connected with wooden and brown leather bindings, a dragon symbol engraved in the front. It seemed rather worn out, which gave it an ancient appearance.

With the book in her hands, Ophelia walked towards the elegant tables, sitting on a compellingly decorated chair. Browsing through the pages, looking at pictures of various dragon species, her attention was cut-off by a louder breath.
Head tilting, the girl just noticed there was someone seating next to her, in a rather sleepy state. It was evening, there wasn't much time left before they would have to return to their dormitories. Should she give him a nudge?
Looking rather conflicted, she decided she will wait a little while and not disturb the boy's rest, focusing back on the illustrations in front of her.
