Writing to parents
Dear Mom, Dad, and Julia
I have found a way to write! Do not be alarmed by the owl, I have learned that is how wizards contact each other. The owl is one of the schools, and she is very nice. I think it's odd to, but you know. It might be something we need to live with. As this is the only way I have heard anyone talk about, to talk to parents.
School is going well! Classes are sooo much different, and well magical. It all feels like a comic. I really miss tv. You know there's no electronics here? Like at all! All of it is like what we thought was fake, or what we read in comics. I can fly on a broom stick! There's a whole sport dedicated to flying on a broom, and I think I want to play it!
I also got sorted by a talking hat! It put me in Gryffindor, some of the older students have told me that its the house of the brave. But im not sure how much I believe in that.

Dear Alex,
Owls, that is an odd way to contact people. I suppose that it is a good way if electronics dont work there. We're happy to hear that you are liking your classes so far! What one is your favorite? And what are you lerning so far?
A broom sport? If you do join, and you do get to play, we hope you have fun, and dont get hurt! You will need to tell us all about it.
All you have told us sounds really fun! And we hope that you are having it, and that you are making friends. We all miss you, and cant wait for you to get home as soon as you can.
