As the sun slowly awakened over the horizon many students were awakening from their deep peaceful slumbers. It was a rather peaceful Monday though classes were going on for the day which made many students wary and awakened early to get a head start to the early ongoing day. After all, the weekend was full of fun and surprises saying that the ball was a rather enjoyable event in a sort of way. Depending how one saw it.

While the day was early a certain golden haired first year awoke early as usual getting dressed for the wonderful school day. The young girl brushed her flowing locks as they swayed behind her gently like a gentle stream. Her pristine Hogwarts uniform fitted the young girl rather nicely. Glancing at her bedside table’s mirror the young girl took a one look before smiling softly approving her appearance after all her mother always said to look your best for education it was the most important thing after all.

As the young girl left her dorm room heading quickly and silently out of the barrel doorway that made its entry into the Hufflepuff common room the young girl made her way down the vast corridor heading towards the vast Great hall. Her golden locks bounced against her back like ripples of waves dancing against the surface of smooth water. The young girl felt fairly relieved and happy for the day after all it was a rather nice day today. Helena took note to visit the lake later on today after classes.

Walking into the vast large dining hall. Helena made her way quietly to her designated table though she would glance over towards the Slytherin table. She was envious of her cousin and her “friend” that were a part of that house. The house the young girl should have been in the whole entire time but unfortunately for her she was stuck in Hufflepuff.

Helena could say that the first month was peaceful and enjoyable but that would be lying. The young girl seemed to find chaos and outbreaks from every which way! One would think a magical school would be peaceful and safe. Along with people who have manners! But she already knew for certain the lot she has met only a very few amount have proper manners.

Helena sat down at the edge of the hufflepuff table which became a daily routine for the young girl. She would sit down at the edge and enjoy the peaceful sense a majority of her house would sit elsewhere where or where too busy conversing with others. Occasionally Helena would end up in some idle chit chat, but it did not phase the girl too much.

The golden haired girl really did seem to like the Hufflepuff house even though deep down she had a lot of doubt swimming deeply inside her heart. Removing her tanish beige satchel placing it on the ground beside her. As she began to situate herself in her spot. The young girl was in a pretty swell mood for early morning that is.

Helena began to enjoy her breakfast. After all, it was a peaceful morning. Helena ended up daydreaming for a bit, her mind wandered around to the past month's events. She seemed to have a bit of adventures so far and it had only been a month. As if pulling herself back into reality Helena noticed a tawny brown owl drop a starling crimson red envelope in front of her landing practically on top of her breakfast. Which in turn startled the golden haired girl quietly.

Helena’s sea blue clear eyes gazed upon the scarlet letter. The young girl felt her breath hitch quickly as her blood ran cold. Losing all color in her face the young girl looked as if she had just saw a ghost. Helena’s mind went blank as she stared dumbly down upon the raging scarlet envelope. Helena knew exactly what it was and she was not prepared in the slightest to deal with this. Her mind started to run rampant as she tried to remember to breathe.

The young girl took a shaky breath as her heart ran rampant against her chest as if it was on fire. A burning sensation filled her chest. The girl as pale as a ghost continued to stare down at their letter rather dumbly. She knew better to let the letter wait, seeing the steam billowing from the corners of the crimson scarlet letter. Helena felt her blood run colder than ice. The girl glanced around quietly knowing the peaceful chatter and peaceful air around her was about to change very quickly. Gulping down her nerves the young girl was prepared to unleash the wrath that was inside this letter.

Shaking sickly pale hands trembled as she delicately removed the red rose stamp from the dark scarlet letter. Once the seal was removed the letter shot from the girl’s hands. Floating in front of the girl a deep male voice seemed to billow around the girl, making the golden haired girl shrink back trying to hide from the letters wrath and disappointment the best she could.

“HELENA ASTORIA ROSE! HOW DARE YOU EMBARRASS THE ROSE FAMILY NAME!THE NORDENS HAVE MENTIONED YOUR SPECULATIONS WITH FILTHY MUDBLOODS BETTER NOT BE TRUE YOUNG LADY OR THEIR WILL BE DIRE CONSEQUENCES! DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHAME YOU HAVE BROUGHT UPON THIS FAMILY! DO YOU NOT THINK YOU HAVE DONE ENOUGH DAMAGE BY BEING A HUFFLEPUFF INSTEAD OF A SLYTHERIN! DO YOU KNOW WHAT KIND OF LAUGHING STOCK YOU HAVE CAUSED THE ROSE FAMILY! HOW DARE YOU BETRAY THE FAMILY NAME! LET ALONE THE RUMORS THAT ARE GOING AROUND! YOUR MOTHER AND I ARE BEYOND LIVID AND DISAPPOINTED IN YOU YOUNG LADY! YOU BETTER HAVE A GOOD REASON FOR EMBARRASSING THE ROSE NAME!”

As the crimson scarlet letter tore itself to shreds. Helena sat in her seat dumbfounded, flabbergasted really. The young first year girl trembled like a sudden earthquake had struck her down. Her fragile blue eyes seemed to dull as tears swelled up trying to blink quickly to push the burning hot sensation of tears from spilling out from her eyes. The young girl had no idea what to do. She had no idea what to even say or feel. She felt as if her worries and dismay came true! As if the feeling her parents actually were dumbfounded and cruel enough to send something as horrid as a dreadful howler nonetheless on a school day! Helena felt all eyes on her as if she could hear the harsh judgment and whispers that seemed to edge into her mind the young girl had no idea what to do. Gripping her hands tightly into small balled up fists the golden haired girl gritted her teeth trying to ease her breathing the best of her capability.

As the hot tears continued to threaten to spill from the young girls startling ocean blue eyes. As if a storm was brewing inside them waves crashing around the blue hues of her eyes. As if the storm was trying so hard to let the rain pour out and spill from those pools of blue. Helena continued to blink furiously. The one thing the girl was not gonna do was cry. No she must not cry! That is what they would want. Her parents, those pure-blood purists who think she is nothing but a meek weak girl! It was not right!

Helena shook her head slightly gripping the sides of her head, small ghostly pale fists gripping tufts of golden locks. As her eyes read nothing but anger, fear and humiliation it was as if Helena had no idea what to do. Her body continued to tremble in pure sorrow and rage. Her breathing was still fast as she tried to calm her nerves whispering to herself.

It was as if the girl felt as if the room was spinning her mind hearing things that were not there. The echoes of her fathers bellowing rage burning her ears like a forest fire. The girls face was sickly pale even her lips seemed to lose color from the pure shock and dismay that seemed to befall her.

How bad was it really? Did she really make a mockery of the Rose family? Everyone knew Helena was shy and meek. They knew she was not Slytherin material. So how? How is it she is a mockery and embarrassment! After all she is a child! Helena knew her parents would throw their beliefs onto the girl as if they expected her to follow their footsteps to be the best to be nothing but an honor to the Rose family. But that would never happen now would it! Helena was meant to be a disappointment the girl knew that now. She knew no matter what she would be nothing but a disappointment to the Rose family. With that dark thought the young girl gritted her teeth harder.

Helena’s burning gaze turned towards the Slytherin table, noticing a young girl with raven black hair sitting at the table among her peers. Helena glowered over towards the girl. Her father mentioned the Nordens which meant Remedy must have told her parents. Merlin's sake who else she may have been speaking to about the golden haired girl. Helena could not help but feel betrayed and utterly hurt. Helena cared about Remedy though they were not exactly friends. She looked up to the girl, but it is not necessarily her fault how would the girl know that her parents would go and mouth off to Helena’s parents. But of course the Nordens would tell Helena’s father everything after all the Rose family and Nordens were close after all.

Helena tore her gaze away from the raven haired girl. Her blue eyes turned to icy daggers as she glanced downwards at the food in front of her. The young girl know longer felt hungry, on the contrary she felt absolutely sick to her stomach as if she had just gotten punched in the stomach by a certain tiny Hufflepuff child. Shaking her head slightly Helena tried to focus on the food even though it just made her feel nothing but nauseated.

As many thoughts and emotions swarmed around Helena’s mind the young girl groaned in absolute sorrow. Gripping the sides of her head again the young girl slammed her head to the table muttering under her breath as her body continued to tremble like ripples of waves. Her golden hairs covered her heart shaped face hiding her face from others' views. As the young girl still tried her best to push back the threatening wave of tears that seemed to pinch her eyes vigorously. A low growl of frustration rumbled in the girl's throat. Why of all days did she have to get a howler? Why could it not have been the weekend when there were fewer people around, but instead it had to happen during a Monday morning nonetheless a school day at that!

Helena could feel the burning sensation of eyes burning into her soul. The young girl already knew she has been the mockery of the Rose family. Helena knew that no matter what she did or say she would still be the family disappointment. Who’s to say Helena would not be an even bigger mockery to her family then she already was. Whatever the girl did it always seemed like something would destroy her progress. Helena hoped that her parents would overlook the fact she was in Hufflepuff. Helena enjoyed this house and she made a few friends. But now what? Was she supposed to know longer have friends? Was she supposed to stop trying to be happy? Was she supposed to embark Hogwarts on her own?

As if her thoughts could not ease her sorrow the young girl continued to grip her hair tightly. Her teeth gritted harshly together. The hot blistering tears threatened to pool out of her harsh icy gaze. Helena had no idea what to do and what she was supposed to do exactly. Besides being a good obeying daughter? Sacrificed her happiness, what little friends she has? Would that make her family happy?!

The young girl glanced upwards, deciding to sit up taking a shaky breath. Slowly lowering her shaking hands from her head the young girl glanced downwards. Glaring icy daggers into her food. It was nobody's fault but hers. Helena knew that, she knew it was her fault the hat chose Hufflepuff she chose the people she wanted to hang around. But what was so bad about that? Helena does not regret her decisions; she does not regret making friends with anyone from muggle lineage. Even hearing the words mudbloods from her fathers mouth made the girl's blood run hot as if she felt angered disgusted he would say such a dirty thing. It was not fair! Helena felt like everything was crashing around her like waves against a rocky cliff. It was as if life was taunting her so cruelly.

The girl now as pale as a fragile ghost continued to quake in utter dismay and fear. Clenching her fists tightly her boney knuckles turned paler then they already where if possible with tints of purple. Her nails dug into the palms of her hands harshly. Making the young girl still shake a bit. Helena had no idea what to feel? Rage? Fear? Dismay? Sorrow? What in Merlin’s beard was she supposed to feel?! Helena wanted to scream. She wanted to yell. The young girl wanted to just let all of her emotions out, but there was a time and place to do all of that. She knew that.

Icy cold daggers turned back to the Slytherin table catching sight of a certain raven haired girl. Helena knew for a fact if she gave into her emotions it would satisfy Remedy. Helena refused to fall as a pawn into the other girls' game. Did Helena know exactly if Remedy was at fault? No she did not. Did she believe Remedy meant well? Deep down she hoped it was all but Remedy being happy for the other girl, but at the same time Helena knew how Remedy was and how she acted. So why? Why would Remedy go through the trouble to make Helena’s life worse? Helena all but looked up to the Slytherin girl. Helena adored Remedy! So why?! Why on heaven's earth did the girl tell her parents about Helena’s school life?! Did Helena upset her? Did she betray the other girl? Helena felt a pang of sorrow and guilt. After all, Remedy was her friend. Or so Helena thought. The young girl would do anything for Remedy so why?

Not only that if her parents knew about her house? What about the rest of her family? Helena could not help but continue trembling. Would this mean her cousin would not speak to her? Would that mean she would lose the only family that remotely seemed to care about her?! Helena could not help but feel her breathing start moving rapidly. Why was this happening to her? It truly was not fair, it was an awful feeling. Helena seemed to be losing everything. Everything was crashing around her like trees in a forest quick but silent.

Helena really could not blame Remedy after all the other girl was closer to her parents unlike Helena. So what if Helena was associated as a “blood traitor”? Why did their parents' opinions even matter! Why did it matter what they thought or care! Should parents not love their children regardless? But of course that was not the case for the Rose girl. Her parents were enraged and upset with the girl for betraying their family. Helena never intentionally betrayed her family; the young girl would do anything for her family.

A groan of sorrow escaped Helena’s mouth again and she slammed her head back onto the Hufflepuff table. Her hands reached back to the sides of her head as she kept muttering trying to stop her thoughts and doubts from spilling out of her mouth. Her body continued to quake and shake as her icy gaze still continued to threaten to let the water work spill out. Helena closed her eyes tightly as she gritted her teeth harder. Trying her best to calm her nerves. After all it was not fair to the young girl she could not handle this. Being the family disappointment eyes on her. What did she do so wrong that evoked this kind of dilemma?!

The best the golden haired girl could do is sit in relish in the embarrassment that unfolded around her. Many students seemed to notice that the young girl had received the howler. As she continued to keep her head flat on the table and her hands gripping her blonde locks tightly. Her body quaking the echo of her fathers deep gravelly booming voice burned into the young girl's ears as if the howler was still going on and on. Ranting on continuously but alas it was just a trick that the young girl's mind was playing on her instead.

It was supposed to be a normal Monday! A Monday full of learning and easy going classes. A day to relax and study. A day to spend with her fellow friends. Or to relax over at the Great Lake. Not a day to dread and feel like an utter disappointment. Not a day to feel like her whole world crashed around her crushing her underneath the rubble. The young girl still felt her breathing heavy and rush as her skin continued to look paler than normal. Her icy blue eyes still had tears swelled inside of them ready to flood down her cheeks. The young girl tried so hard to keep her eyes shut to hold back the threatening tears. Her forehead still pressed against the table as she gripped her blonde locks tightly. Her mind seemed to rush around in swirls. The young girl honestly had no idea what to do at this very moment or how to react at all! After all, it was supposed to be a normal Monday. A normal school day. Not a complete disaster to start off her week. After all, it was a Monday full of Disasters for the young girl. She felt that in the bottom of her stomach it sickened the young girl deeply as she tried to calm her nerves the best she could after all. She had to calm down. She did not want to cause a bigger scene than there already was.

Ira was pretty proud of herself, yesterday she had talked to two first years: one on the train, Harley Jukes, he was sorted into Hufflepuff; and another in the Ravenclaw common room, Chloe Norman. Both of them seemed like competent but really nice people, even if they seemed a bit worried about her opinion (which she could hardly pick up on, except for when she was explicitly told or watching their body language closely). Point being, they seemed like they were becoming her friends, so she could suffice to say that she was off to a pretty good start. It wasn’t like she didn’t greatly struggle during these interactions, but hey, she did have a lot of fun.

Poking at a stray waffle on her plate, she leaned back, relaxing in her chair, still not having quite yet fully woken up. Not hungry, just tired… Wonder if I can go back to sleep, probably not. Glumly taking a bite out of her waffle, Ira looked around. The Great Hall sort of reminded her of London, in the way that people shouldn’t really know each other, but they still found a way to be rather loud - it was a stretch of a comparison, that she knew, but was unable to quickly find a better one as she got tired of the train of thought.

One noise, though, rose above the rest. It came from the Hufflepuff table in the form of a letter. Quickly turning her attention to the noise, she spotted a girl, blonde hair, head on the table, shaking, not overly visible from where she was, but enough to be worrying. Ira could feel the other Ravenclaws’ gazes boring down on the girl, and she began to feel guilty, even if she had nothing to do with it.

Swallowing her waffle, she got up from the table, contemplating between using this as an excuse to go to the washroom, or going over to the Hufflepuff table to try to talk to her, she chose the latter, even if that would mean that some people would stare at her, with luck, they would quickly go back to their food and friends. Ira walked over, feeling heavy as she did, she could honestly sympathize with the girl, maybe if her parents cared a bit more, maybe if her mother hadn’t been a Ravenclaw too, this might have been her.

She tapped the girl’s shoulder. “Hey,” Ira said, speaking softly, “There anything I can do for you?”

Madison woke up as the sun had shone through the window of her dorm room. She'd gotten dressed, showered and had walked from the Hufflepuff Common Room into the Great Hall, ready to face Monday. She said hi to some of her friends and said hi to her boyfriend, before spotting Helena, a first year Hufflepuff that she'd met at the Fall Ball. Madison grabbed a Vanilla and Cinnamon bun, along with some fruit and as she did so, saw the crimson letter tear itself into shreds. Oh no, a howler? Which poor Hufflepuff got a howler? she thought. She then saw that it was Helena, walked over and tapped Helena on the shoulder, smiling at her, "Hey Helena" Madi said with a soft smile. She saw a Ravenclaw girl walking over towards Helena, however Madi sat down next to Helena as the other girl approached.

After eating some of her fruit, she turned to Helena and smiled, speaking to her softly "just so you know Helena, whatever was in that letter, don't believe it. You're such a kind, smart, caring and sweet girl, and whilst what others think is important, what's more important is what we think about ourselves is even more so" she said, handing her a glass of water to help calm her down.

Madi smiled at Helena and rubbed her back reassuringly. "Don't overthink what was in that letter. You're potential to do amazing things is so much greater than that stupid letter. A letter from our parents, especially a howler, is horrible, but they're not you. Only you are you, and therefore, only you decide what you want to do in your life and who you want to hang out with. Create the life you want for yourself, not the life other people want for you" Madison said, eating more of the vanilla and cinnamon bun she had on her plate.

As per usual, Harley was up bright and early munching on his breakfast at the Hufflepuff table, scrambling to get his charms homework finished last minute before class. Of course, he didn't intend it to turn out this way, he could've sworn he'd already done it but alas, it was not so. Essentially, it was a typical Monday, or so he thought until he heard a grating voice scream from the edge of the table.

Looking up, he noticed the floating red envelope berating a young Hufflepuff. What on earth was going on? Was all he could think, this being his first encounter with a howler. Harley squinted, trying to get a better look at the girl noticing that it was... Helena?! What? Why would she get a letter like this? He would attest she's one of the sweetest people he's met so far; then it dawned on him as he remembered the conversation they had when they first met at the sorting ceremony. Ah. It all started to make a little more sense, it must've been from her parents...

Grabbing and quickly tossing the piece of parchment that was his homework into his bag, the boy quickly scooted over to the seat opposite Helena. There already seemed to be another Hufflepuff consoling her as he got there, as well as... A Ravenclaw? His eyes slightly widened in surprise, not expecting to see Ira in the middle of a commotion.

Taking a seat, he looked up at Ira, offering her a soft smile before turning his attention to the other Hufflepuff and mouthing the words "Is she okay?" with a concerned look on his face. Helena definitely didn't seem okay, but who would be after being berated in front of the whole school at breakfast?

Not wanting to overwhelm her, Harley would simply wait until Helena was ready, offering her a warm smile if she looked up. He figured the golden-haired girl would need a moment to process what just happened.

Madison saw the other Hufflepuff and the Ravenclaw approach the table, but she didn't want Helena to feel overwhelmed so she just rubbed her back and whispered to her "just relax for a bit and talk when you're ready. If you want to go somewhere with less people around, just squeeze my hand" Madi said and took hold of Helena's hand.

Madison looked at the other Hufflepuff and shook her head, mouthing back to him, "she got a howler. Do you think we should get her back to the Common Room, less people would crowd her if she was there".

Madi knew the kind of family Helena had, afterall Madi was from a similar kind of family. She knew the pressures Helena faced daily and felt sorry for her. She was so sweet and lovely, Madison had taken Helena under her wing during the Fall Ball and loved spending time with her.

Whilst waiting for Helena to process everything, Madi stayed by her side holding her hand and introduced herself to the other Hufflepuff boy. "Hey, I'm Madison Bennett and I'm a second year, it's nice to meet you" she said with a warm smile.

Madison was a very friendly person, always looking out for first years, especially Hufflepuff first years. She knew Hogwarts could be very overwhelming, even for the students whose parents went here. Some students settled right in and others needed a bit more guidance and Madison knew that right now, Helena needed her help to get through this tough situation.

Shuffling over to Harley, she watched the older girl, Madison as she would introduce herself, talking to the one who received the howler. Maybe coming over was a bad idea… Ira sighed, not even knowing what was going on at this point. What should I do? Maybe get her a tissue or a glass of water?

“Maybe she should go outside?” Ira asked the Hufflepuffs, “Fresh air might be helpful…” She hardly knew what to do, all she knew was that this was probably all overwhelming.

When I feel sad, my chest feels empty, usually distractions help. But that might not deal with the root cause of the problem, hmm. She thought for a moment, hair falling across her face to conceal her expression. Is this something she needs to work through on her own, does she just need time to process her emotions? Or is this more of a cut all ties to the people who sent the letter, most likely her parents.

She honestly didn’t know what to do, write a letter back to her parents telling them that they can stop sending howlers if they don’t truly care about their daughter. Come to think of it, that would probably just make the situation worse, best wait for a response before continuing.

Madison had gotten water for Helena and she would make sure she'd drink it when she was ready. She knew she should take Helena outside, or at least somewhere that wasn't as noisy, or that had too many people.
"When she's ready, I'll take her outside, she doesn't need too many crowding around her right now" as she looks at Harley again and mouths "let's take her to the common room, hopefully she'll calm down there better, not as much noise or as many people. What do you think?"

Madison keeps hold of Helena's hand and smiles, "come on Helena, why don't you drink some water, and then we'll go to the Hufflepuff Common room, somewhere you can just take a breather, and somewhere safe, without all this noise and so many people crowding you" Madi says. She doesn't fully understand why the Ravenclaw girl is there, she seems like she's only trying to help, but right now the people Helena needs are our friends. Madison felt very protective of Helena, she'd protected her whilst they were at the Fall Ball and right now, with what Helena was going through, she needed to protect her again and she gladly will do so, because that's the kind of person Madison is, she'll always protect her family, friends and the people she loves

Landon tended to lose track of time in the mornings, and sometimes forgot to eat breakfast before classes began, but today he actually managed to get to the Great Hall for breakfast. He carried his bag with his school supplies, but he was also carrying Hogwarts: A History in his arms. He was always reading some sort of history book if he had the time. Landon thought for a moment as he tried to decide where to sit, but since he was planning on reading during breakfast, he wanted to sit relatively alone.

Landon sat down away from his housemates and reached for some of the breakfast food. He grabbed a waffle and poured some syrup on it before starting to eat. He had a mouthful of food and his eyes locked on the book, carefully keeping the food away from the book so he wouldn't make a mess. He was in the middle of reading about Salazar Slytherin when he heard a loud voice and was pulled away from his book. He paused in his chewing of his food in shock as he realized it was a Howler... and that the recipient was his friend Helena. He finished chewing and closed his book, forgetting to place a bookmark in the pages, so he knew he would have to look for the page he had been reading later.

Landon got up from his seat and approached Helena, but he was beaten there by a few other people. He looked at Helena, blue eyes wide with concern. He listened as Madi and the other students tried to comfort Helena. He stayed back, not wanting to overwhelm Helena more, but eventually he spoke. "Um... yeah, we should go back to the common room," he said quietly. He didn't want to draw more attention to Helena. He knew she was very shy and he definitely wanted to keep her from being humiliated more. He waited for Helena to drink the water that Madi had brought her and then looked around, seeing the other students still staring at Helena. They were whispering amongst themselves, and Landon could hear their laughter. "I'll come with you to the common room," he said kindly. He wanted to make sure that Helena was okay.

Harley's concerned expression quickly soured further as the Hufflepuff girl shook her head. She was right though; the common room was likely the best place for Helena to calm down away from all the gossiping. Everyone in the Great Hall seemed as if they just witnessed the most jaw-droppingly unbelievable thing they'd ever seen in their lives. Frankly, it annoyed him beyond belief, knowing they only made it harder for Helena by giving her all the unsolicited attention. As far as he was concerned they should all just mind their own business and turn their prying eyes to their plates.

As the girl introduced herself, Harley gave her a gentle nod with a faint smile. "I'm Harley... Jukes. First year. Nice to meet you too." His tone was soft, yet filled with worry for Helena.

For the time being, Harley simply listened to the ideas being flung about, unsure of what'd be the best or how he could help without making things worse. Outdoors could also work, maybe? There likely weren't that many students out and about this time of the day, though he wasn't sure of that considering he'd never checked before.

Still unsure, Harley nodded in agreement as Madison silently asked him for his opinion. Although, he thought it best if they asked where Helena wanted to go. After all, what mattered was what she wanted and would be best for her. As the other Hufflepuff boy chimed in, Harley leaned forward placing a hand on Helena's as she gripped her blonde locks. "Hey, Helena? Would you like to come to the common room? Or anywhere you prefer, honestly."

Everything seemed to be spinning quickly around Helena. Her mind seemed to drown with the prior events unfolding around her. The golden haired girl continued to keep her head against the table.

Her mind seemed to be nothing in a fog; she was uncertain of what to do. Helena continued to stay in her own world, her fathers words echoing around her mind. It was as if her world came crashing down Helena had no idea what to do at the moment besides try and hide in her shame after all that is what the Rose family does is it not?

Feeling a tap on her shoulder Helena glanced up slightly, her sea blue eyes gazing upon a young girl with bright green eyes and shoulder length brunette hair. Helena squinted her eyes slightly uncertain of who this girl was or why she came over. The golden haired girl could not help but think coldly at first. Normal response from someone who had just been humiliated in front of the whole entire school. Helena could not help but feel slightly hurt in a way.

Helena felt like she had lost her voice; she had no idea how to respond to anyone. The young girl felt rather confused at this exact moment. Soon after the other girl made herself known Helena felt another tap on her shoulder now the newer person to make their appearance known was Madison.

Helena seemed to stare blankly though she could see everyone around her chit chatting and talking and the young girl herself felt overwhelmed. Once again Helena held her head gently leaning over the table. With everyone around her chit chatting and talking along with trying to get the young girl's attention. Helena had no idea what to do.

Sighing to herself the golden haired girl gazed around her. Noticing a few familiar faces along with the new brunette that Helena never met she felt a tad confused. Sitting up Helena glanced around slowly before taking the glass of water Madison offered the young girl. Not wanting to be rude Helena turned towards the young brunette haired girl that seemed to be near her still.

Helena felt like she heard Harley call her something, but the young girl was too zoned out to realize what it was. It felt rather strange to Helena to be surrounded by many people who seemed rather concerned about her. It was rather relieving in a way to the golden haired girl.

Helena took a small sip of the glass of water regaining her composure the young girl glanced over to the Slytherin table squinting her eyes scanning for a certain ravenette haired girl. Helena felt her blood boil slightly before releasing a soft low breath. Gazing around her Helena smiled a soft small smile towards her friends and the young stranger near her.

“Sorry if I worried you. I am fine I swear. We should eat before the food gets cold.”

Helena spoke softly in her gentle elegant feathery tone. The golden haired girl glanced over towards the brunette near her scooting over slightly opening a seat beside her for the other girl to sit if she so wished to.

“Would you like to sit with us?”

Helena offered the brunette haired girl to sit with the small group. After all Helena was happy with the notion of new friends not only that the golden haired girl refused to leave the Great Hall after an incident like this it would give certain people more power than they already have. Helena absolutely refused to bow down in defeat.

Helena sat up slightly straighter grabbing a fork and beginning to dig into her waffles trying to erase the fact that the girl just received the howler. It was best that way after all.

Helena seemed to appreciate the thought that her two older friends wanted to shield the girl and head back to the common room. Which the young girl planned on hiding in for the rest of the day, but for now. She had it in mind to wait it out. Even the golden haired girl could hear the laughter and snickering she refused to allow it to be a bother to her. After all it would give certain people a rather winning feeling that she refused to give in.

The sea blue eyed girl looked over at her friends though she did not barely pay attention she figured it best to try and change the subject the best she could and as soon as possible at that. She was not sure how to feel at the moment, but she knew for sure she wanted to try and forget that she was the family disappointment at the moment. Glancing around she could tell everyone around her seemed rather concerned or worried especially with the tone of voices they seemed to have.

Helena gave a reassuring smile to everyone waving her hands in front of her face in a careless manner trying to feign what little happiness she could to try and comfort her friends to the best of her abilities.

“Oh rather rude of me I am Helena by the way and you are?”

Helena turned towards the brunette haired girl forgetting to even introduce herself to the stranger before the golden haired girl turned towards her other friends smiling softly.

“I'd rather finish eating before leaving. I promise I will be fine.”

Helena spoke softly, looking over at everyone surrounding her. Helena felt rather happy that her friends seemed to care enough about her.

“I am just the Villain in your story, but a Hero in mine.”
