To my first best friend Hunter,

It's really sad that you have to wait one more year before you can come to Hogwarts. And yes, my hair is still blue as the sky, I don't think I'm going to change it at all, or at least until next semester. I think I saw a few other people with their hair dyed but I feel like my blue hair stands out more, not that I care. If anyone, even a professor, has anything to say, I'm going to do what you did to your stepmum, lol... I'm not letting anyone tell me what to do, almost, maybe.

So what do I like, well, I've only been here for literally one week, and I barely know where my classes are...OH, I got into your favorite house, Slytherin. I know what you're going to say, and DON'T say it in the next letter, but I really thought Hufflepuff, but you were right, as always(okay, so I said it for you already, now don't say it!)

I don't know why that horrid hat put me in the house of snakes, didn't Maxine say only Purebloods go there? It's funny, though, I don't think anyone here knows my parents are muggles, and it's none of their business anyway. To be honest, I really don't see why bloodline matters but I guess humans always want something to fuss about, or at least that's what your sister said. You guys are so opposite, it's funny. You think wizards are better than muggles and Max thinks everyone should be equal. And you already know what I think, lol.

So yeah, I think all of the really interesting stuff at Hogwarts are for later years, which sucks, because I really want to see all the fuss about Divination and Ancient Runes. But at least I think I can take Flying classes and Potions. I really want to prank someone, maybe a Love Potion, although boys are icky, but I want try that Draft of Peace... you know why...

But being a Basher sounds so freaking cool! If I make the Quidditch team, which I probably will, I will practice everyday beating those bludgers to Antarctica. I hope you get in too but it's not for everyone, besides you get scared all the time when you see one, maybe you should just stick to potions.

I have to go to bed soon so I just wanted to say that the ride to Hogwarts is really cool, you should try to make your first friends that way. And make sure to get some chocolate frogs, too. Or anything that's food, it's all tastey.

I'll tell you more about what it's like to be a Slytherin and what's it like here. Right now I'm pretty excited and just want see everything. Tell me about the Flock!

Sincerely,

Satin E. Solstice
