Closed Lear's Army and Jacob's Fifth Year Backdated Club

As Jacob was getting his thoughts together on how he would organize it. Kim spoke to him; he was clearly waiting for his response. "Yeah, I'm ready. We'll do it." He pointed at some nearby trees that led into the Forbidden Forest, that were only a few seconds away, which was near the place where the meeting was. "Here, let me know when you're ready." Then Jacob thought to himself, 'Alright, relax. You have been practicing. You got this.' Jacob and Kim went to the location, and Jacob began to have doubts. What if he forgot how to cast my spells? What if I forget how to block? These were doubts that were etched on his mind. Then he decided if he forgot something. He will pick it up as he goes along. He then bowed before Kim and then backed away slowly. "On the count of three," Jacob said, assuring himself. "One." Maybe Kim will be focused enough to get to shoot a spell at him. "Two." It was not a time for classes yet. So he might be busy at the time. "Three." "Flippendo." A blue spark ejected out of the end of his wand as Jacob tried to knock Kim over.

Jacob then considered why the duels were important as this practice duel was needed to try and outwit your opponent, trying to knock them off their feet, 'Mum would love to see me outwit someone.' Jacob thought, 'She took great pride in that, oh yes, but I am not as smart as his mother. He could barely get through homework. He did have bravery and nerve. So he decided to take bold actions in the duel to end it as quickly as possible.

Jacob knew Kim was an experienced duelist, so he would try to do something Jacob was missing. He would probably attempt to block his spell. But Jacob would be ready as soon as he could. He shot another spell at him, crying, "Expelliarmus." as red sparks shot out of the end of Jacob's wand. Red, orange, blue, they were streaming towards Kim at lightning speed. Jacob knew he had to end the duel quickly. Otherwise, he wouldn't have a chance. This was obvious when Albus Dumbledore defeated Gellert Grindelwald when he defeated him the Elder Wand, the most powerful wand in existence, was in Dumbuldore's Grasp by the end of the duel when he disarmed Grindelwald. So, he became the master of the Elder Wand. When Draco Malfoy did the same, he became the master of the Elder Wand. Then, sometime later, Harry Potter would wrench Draco's wand out of his hand. Making Harry Potter the true master of the Elder Wand. Most likely, whoever took Harry's wand became the Master of the Elder Wand. He would have to find out who later. Right now, he needed to focus on the duel.

Mellani wasn't exactly excited for the first meeting, but she was curious what it would be about, and that curiosity was what led her to come to the meeting in the first place. When they arrived at the spot, the leaders of the club said that they would be dueling today.

Mellani was pretty sure that this was against the school rules, but maybe these people had asked for permission beforehand. Even if they hadn't, Mellani couldn't care less. What was the most that would happen? They might get detention, that's what.

Mellani looked at the two boys duel. They seemed to go closer and closer to the Forbidden Forest, a place Mellani remembered well. She looked around at the other members of the club, wondering who she should choose for a partner. After a bit of thought, she decided to wait for someone to approach her instead.

Casting spells at someone else might help take some thing off her mind. Mellani hoped it would. Ever since summer, she'd never felt like herself. She had never felt actually happy, and she really wanted that to change, but some part of her was still stuck in the past, and she could not get over the pain. She wondered how she would be able to go home again next summer without all of it becoming worse. Who knew what else would be in store for her?

"OWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Colin ran down from the castle to the grounds as fast as his long legs and bare feet would carry him! He was excited for the meeting of Lear's Army, because, like Dumbledore's Army of old, they'd be practicing duelling spells with an eye towards defending themselves from attacks by Dark wizards. As he got down to the meeting place, he found a small group of students. His old friend Kim Aoki, fellow Snake Mellani Miller and an older boy whom he knew only as Jacob, the leader of the group.

Jacob started up the meeting, directing them what they were to do. Colin watched as he and Kim began their duel. Spells flew and Colin smirked. This was going to be fun! Colin knew well that Dark wizards were a real menace. He'd spent his first two years at Hogwarts in their shadow. He was only just becoming aware of members of his own family who had their eyes on him, and even his siblings, who had tried to kill them. He had felt a keen duty to discover who those people were and now he felt a duty to learn how to defend them properly.

Colin shrugged. He wanted to get into the spell flinging! "Come on Mels! Dark wizards are waiting to slice us into bloody chips! We'd better get practicing! Do you want to pair up?" Colin stepped away a little bit, reaching up into his right sleeve to slip his wand out of its sheath strapped around his arm.

Bailey had made a big big mistake- she had almost forgotten a club meeting
stupid stupid stupid!! she thought. she knew better than this! As she headed out of the castle and onto the grounds bailey munched on a sandwich she had snagged from the lunch table.
Dressed in her normal white shirt, bailey had on a red sweater vest instead of her typical Ravenclaw blue one. she also had black pants, a few gold rings, gold earrings, a gold bracelet and watch and a pair of comfortable flats. Her book bag was over her shoulder, with her wand, a water bottle, a notebook for the club meeting, her book she was reading [the princess bride, a classic and one of her favorites] and other miscellaneous things.
bailey spotted a group of people gathering near the forbidden forrest and went to join them. She spotted @Kim sato first, as her eyes seemingly were always drawn to her best friend. She smiled in seeing @colin mccoire too, another of her closest friends. @Mellani Miller was also there, along with @Jacob Harman whom bailey presumed was leading the meeting.
Walking up besides Colin, she saw kim standing up again. She asked Coco "what's going on.... is this good / practice dueling or im mad at you dueling?"
