Sere walked out of the study room along with her busy mind. I still have Herbology assignment, studying the Charms material that will be taught tomorrow... Oh, my! I almost forgot about that History of Magic essay! Sere moved faster in the corridors. The sun is almost setting down and she's in hurry to return to her dorm, there are still some homeworks and studies to do. I think I've already done some of it in the study room just now, but why does it feels like these tasks will never have an end? Isn't there any spell so that these tasks possibly solve the problem on their own? Why must I always help these tasks to solve their problems?
Sere massaged the back of her neck with the right hand, making her left hand the only one holding the thick books in her arms. Ow... It looks like these books will--- Not even a second of her thought, the books that was on Sere's arms fell, making a loud thud in the corridors. Sere chuckled, she quickly kneel down to pick it up. I must look ridiculous to the people around me!
Sere raised her head up. This girl expected strange looks from people around her, but instead she was surprised by what she saw: The students passing by in the corridors only glanced at her before walking off... in their very charming clothes.
They are all different from Sere, who is still wearing a black robe with Gryffindor-style red and gold accents.
Ah! That's right! Today is Fall Ball. Everybody looked very gorgeous in their clothes. Sere got up and glanced at the window right next to her, one of the large windows in the corridors that decorated with mosaics but still presented a great view of the Great Lake. There are still few people, but she is sure that it will be busier in a short time.
Fall Ball is definitely not for a serious-bookish-type like me.
In a pretty long time standing there, Sere started to see the halos, brightly shining. She could felt a strange feeling grow inside her heart, just like slowly let out of your breath. Her chest feels so tight. What is it? Why is it feels so weird?
One by one lanterns shown. Most of it floating on the water, and the other are flying to the sky, as if it will defeat the blinking stars. Sere showed a little smile, a loner smile, while whispering, "At least I see the lights." along with her watery eyes.
