Reunions And Letters
Admist all the squaks, clacking of beaks and talons, was the sound of pen writing on paper. Upon first glance around the room it appeared to he empty, but with further investigation a small girl could be found sitting on the hard ground with a journal on her lap with a sheet of paper on top. Her left hand was tapping against the book as her silver eyes stared at the paper; mind blank for words to write on the paper. There were a few crumpled up sheets of paper scattered around her from where she messed up and got frustrated. Why was it so hard to write?
Sighing in frustration, Eri looked around and watched the owls for a few moments trying to clear her head. It was soothing. Just the sounds of the owls and the occasional scribble of a pen or the crumpled of paper. After a few moments of taking in the peaceful sounds her pen got back to tapping against the book she was using as a desk
Not long after that there were footsteps approaching and Eri didn't really want to be noticed by anyone at the moment so she hid. Scooting as close as she could to the stone seat and pulled her legs tight against herself as she hoped they didn't see her. If she knew them and didn't mind there company she would probably come out. Suddenly realization hit her. She had left her stuff sitting out in the open. Hopefully whoever was coming wouldn't notice cause it was to late to grab it.
