Akina walked through the grounds, feeling a soft breeze surrounding the cool, misty area. It was another great place to go to if you were seeking quiet. She looked for a good place to sit, though it was hard with the mud splattered all across the healthy grass. After a few minutes, she found a clean spot in the grass so she could read her book in silence. She looked up, hearing a few tweets above her. Akina noticed the branches overlapping so much that she thought the trees were holding onto each other tightly.

She pulled out her book, sighing in relief. It was peaceful. Akina read for about an hour until she felt like it was time to go back to the school. Suddenly, weird sounds came from the lake, making Akina turn around. She saw something weird shaped floating along the lake, bobbing as it went. Akina squinted to see what it was, but soon realized it was impossible to see what it was with a naked eye. She leaned over as far as she could.

It all happened in two seconds. Akina accidentally placed her foot in the water and slipped inside the freezing lake, though it was a sunny, hot June. She shouted as shock jolted through her and jumped up, her robes wet. She was really, really lucky that it was shallow. She got back up, embarrassed, hoping nobody had seen. Akina climbed back onto the land, shivering.

Linda wanted to go for a walk and be outside castle this day, so once she was ready, she took her sketchbook and pencil and went out. She went to the owlery first and got her parcel. It was biscuits and some cupcakes with chocolate, cherry, and many other tastes. After that she went outside the castle.

She spent some time walking around the castle and Great Lake, and now she was going to find a place to sit. So she was in the grounds walking and looking around when she heard a quick shouting and something like a falling sound. Linda looked around more carefully, searching for a source of this sound.

Then she saw familiar face of Gryffindor girl who now was shivering. Hey, Akina. Are you okay? She decided to not ask more. They knew each other already but during whole year they didn't talk much.

Linda looked at Akina, luckily it was hot so the girl was supposed to be with dry clothes feeling more warm quite soon. Btw, do you want some biscuits? My mom sent me this morning and I have them with me now.

She then thought it could sound strange. Girl is shivering and wet, probably fell in water and she was offering biscuits. But she hoped it was okay. She didn't want to make Akina feel embarrassed or make her say what happened. Actually it was quite hot so she wouldn't mind getting in water now, but she decided to not think about it now. It's quite hot today, your clothes should be dry soon and you will feel more warm. She wanted to add asking Akina to be more careful, but then she just looked at the sky. It was quite nice day, even though it was hot.

as akina climbed out of the lake, she started feeling shivers that were almost making her body look like it was vibrating. she slowly looked up and saw linda in her beautiful bright hair. akina scrambled to her feet, embarrassed. she felt so stupid and hoped linda hadn't seen akina tumble into the cold waters. linda asked akina if she was okay. akina silently nodded, having no will to speak or make any noise. she did not want to attract any onlookers. at that thought, akina's watchful eyes raked the trees, looking for any sign of movement. Then linda asked if she wanted a biscuit. akina nodded gratefully again, and her eyes flew from her enviroment to the parcel linda was clutching. was it in there? linda told akina that her clothes were soon to be dry again. akina understood, as it was a very hot day. akina looked away at the lake she had just emerged out of. i should start talking or else linda would think speaking to me would be like speaking to a tree. akina thought quietly. "thank you. sorry that you had to find me like this," akina said, gesturing to her wet clothes. it was quite embarrassing. akina would definitely prefer if linda would have found her at least doing something productive.

Linda opened her parcel to reveal biscuits and cupcakes that were inside. Each of them were with a small sign of taste that was inside of each. Here, you can take whatever you want. My mom just cooked it and sent to me. She smiled. That should be really tasty. As every other time for sure, but now would be more special.

Oh it's fine, please don't worry about that. Actually I wouldn't mind to get into water now and probably swim, but I'll just wait till I come home for a holiday. Linda smiled. She really liked to swim in the river that was not too far away from her home. Something she was missing sometimes here in Hogwarts.

Did you ever try to sit on the tree? So random question but she just wanted to talk about something. View from the tree was more special in Linda's opinion than from the ground. Also sometimes it could be really great place for hiding.

She took chocolate cupcake and started to eat it. There was a lot of chocolate inside. Something Linda liked really much. It was just so enjoyable and then she thought it would be nice to have some kind of picnic now.

akina smiled and accepted a cupcake. she adored cupcakes, especially chocolate chip flavored ones. she noticed a few other objects in the parcel linda had brought. she looked closer and realized that those were biscuits. linda told akina that her mom had just sent them to her. thinking this conversation had no dialogue from akina, she decided to start talking. "is your mom a baker?" it was really lame, but that was the first thing that popped into akina's mind. plus, probably everyone knew that talking to akina was like talking to a tree. akina took a small bite out of the cupcake and a small flavor explosion occurred in her mouth. akina wondered if linda had noticed any change of expression on her face. "wow, this is really, really good!" akina blurted out. it came out clearly since she had swallowed the cupcake in only a few bites. she wondered how she would pay back linda for this kind gesture. she would dwell on that later, but after she finished the looming pile of homework waiting for her back in the common room. akina sighed and tried to focus on what was happening right now. she watched linda also take a bite of the chocolate cupcake. akina took another one and took a thoughtful bite

It's just her hobby. I want to learn it from her more. I can just cook some cakes till now. Linda smiled. Akina seemed to like it and Li was happy about it.

What are is your favorite food? It came out so suddenly. Linda looked surprised for a quick second, why she decided to ask it. But then looked at Akina with curiosity in her eyes. They didn't talk much earlier, so there still was so much to discuss. But every time meeting her friend, Linda felt like suddenly all the questions disappeared.

I like chocolate pie, pumpkin biscuits and chocolate frogs. And everything that my mom's baking. She smiled when remembering all that food made by her mother.

Do you want to go back to the room? Linda asked after some time. She liked to be with Akina, but also she really had to put this parcel away, so she doesn't finish all right now. Also probably her friend wanted to change clothes after been wet.

They could talk more in the room as they were sharing same room yet. Linda stood up and looked around. It was really quite nice day and now she felt like she actually would like to change her clothes. It was getting a bit hot in these ones.

akina blinked at linda's next question. her favorite food? akina debated in her head for a bit before deciding, "dumplings. it's a pretty traditional food where i'm from." she bit her lip, worried. that had come out kind of wrong and awkward. akina hoped that linda wouldn't take it the wrong way. akina looked at her clothes, and thankfully, they were only
a few splotches of liquid on them now. akina could have easily removed the water, but she didn't want to seem like she was showing off, especially to one of her closest friends. linda then asked if she wanted to go back to the dormitory. "yeah, sure," akina responded, shrugging. her thoughts occupied, she looked at at the lake she had just fallen into, letting the sounds of the forest engulf her. akina was kind of bored, but of course she wouldn't confess that to linda. akina discreetly took another treat and bit it, chewing very slowly, because she knew it was rude to chew loudly. once again akina felt a fresh wave of flavor and positivity on her tongue. akina wondered why linda had suddenly wanted to leave. akina's heart beat faster as she realized the possibility that linda thought akina was annoying and boring! akina looked up at linda, who had stood up.
