Rowan cringed very visably. Which he never did. He was always calm, no matter what. So his emotions were most likely very strong, for him not to be able to hold them back. Between the frog and Miko’s behaviour... ugh. He couldn’t understand why people liked the chocolate frogs. It felt like he would be eating a living animal, with how they squirmed. And Miko’s behaviour was self explanatory.
“I believe I am finished with my meal. It was nice meeting you two. Good day.”
He placed the box containing the chocolate frog on his plate, as well as the locket that was around his neck for some reason. He looked to Miko ws he dropped it, the metal clinking against the plate. Rowan then proceeded to wheel himself out of the great hall again. That lasted all of about five minutes. Great. For a Gryffindor, he did a lot of running and hiding. He took an apple with him, placing it in his lap as he moved away. So what if he was leaving early. Maybe he needed to unpack his stuff in his room again. Or get a head start on the stairs. The stairs were a nightmare.
Rip everyone else in this chat lmao.

Miko was grinning up until the point Rowan exited the table. At that time he frowned and tilted his head, confused as to why he was leaving so early. He thought maybe he was just full or something but once the Gryffindor boy made complete eye contact with him and dropped the locket the lad froze. Not wanting to get up or do anything, he just sat and stared at the plate. The scene was still processing in his head even after five minutes or so as his gaze slowly shifted to the fallen locket. That locket, that exact one, was the locket that was presented to Rowan on Christmas day. That locket costed him five galleons but that didn't matter, what mattered was the feelings encased in the locket.
After the Hufflepuff froze for a while he moved the plate in front of him out the way and dropped his head to the table, face first. The impact hurt a bit but that mattered not at the moment, the main thing that was on his mind was the dropped necklace. He could feel a pain in his chest the more he thought about and he blinked, seeing a tear or so fall onto the table right in his face.
Lovely. it was as if he could feel his heart withering away. Miko wanted to feel no more emotions, he wanted to flush them down the toilet and forget about feeling them. That's what the new plan was. Numb all emotions that came to his brain, healthy right? No. Not at all. But it's what he was willing to do.
Unless someone had a Time Turner laying around somewhere he had to do this. He had to. There was no choice. At least in his mind, in the lad's mind there was no other solution. With a swift movement he stood, snatched the locket and once again a yellow fuzz flashed across the room, this time it left the room.

"Mi-ko...and he must be Rowan?" She glanced at the other boy who had a flower crown. She looked back at the one who was stuffing his face. Realizing she still had the same spoonful of jello in her mouth, Mitzi swallowed. Her mouth had been closed while she sloshed it around, but maybe it had been pretty loud sloshing because Miko seemed to grimace at her doing it. She half frowned and looked away pointedly. It's weird to watch someone eat, but this boy seemed to be very comfortable with weirdness. She noticed some dirt from when he had been under the table and coughed into her hand.
"It's not the owl that I mind...by the way," she said, studying the chocolate frog container from where she sat. "How many cards have you got? I haven't gotten any yet." Right after a brief pause, Rowan excuse himself, saying goodbye to everyone, and then wheeled himself away.
Mitzi looked to Miko and gave him a confused look. To her both of them were acting sort of weird, and she wanted to know why. Miko acted a sort of natural kind of weird, like it's just his personality, but the other boy, well, he acted like he had some issues. She looked after him as he went. She'd saw him cringe at the chocolate, wondering if maybe he was allergic, too. Or maybe he just doesn't like them, she told herself. It would only be too lucky to find someone who shared her allergy.
She sat there for a moment, looking between Miko and Elena, before excusing herself too.
