Claryssa North's Funeral

After a while, Marissa went back to the coffin. Some people were still mourning around it whilst others left. Mari never wanted to leave. Her sister, her twin, was there. She could still hear the cries and sobbing of relatives and friends around her, even though everything else was gone. Only suffering was left. How could she live when Claryssa was gone. Forever. Nothing was going to be the same, ever. Home was going to be quiet and always in the mourning stage. Hogwarts won't be the same either. People will stare at her, pity her for the lost. Or tease her. But Marissa had to be strong. For her parents. For her brother. Most in importantly, for Claryssa.
Marissa was there for what could have been hours. She had no idea, but she just stared at the dirt that now separated her and her sister for life. A single tear escaped her eye as she placed down a rose on top of the fresh dirt. It hurt her so, so much. The house was going to be empty, a lost piece in it. There was going to be silence, without Claryssa's laughter. It was all gone. Without realising, Marissa's father picked her up into his arms and slowly carried her away. Mari curled up into a ball, watching Claryssa's grave slowly move into the distance. And then darkness, Marissa fell asleep from the exhaustion.
