Oh Queenie. Quinn. Quinn. Quinn, Q. What in the gods wrathful pettiness are ye doing! Of all the reckless and foolish things ya could do, ya choose this? Are ye serious!?

Those were the thoughts...or more likely his rational side practically screaming at him to stop this foolish endeavor. Like really was Quinn gonna honestly skip class to get down to some mischief with his good friend Ami. Would he really forsake learning for mindless fun?

Pfffft yeah ah would! Who wouldn't!? Now pipe down ya pesky conscience and let me have me fun! Little patters could be heard as the young ginger padded his way through the long corridors of the ancient scottish castle. What was his destination you might ask? Well that was a simple answer, to meet Ami of course at their super secret rendevouz point.

So there he was, tall lanky Quinn in his black robes his scarf wrapped tightly around his neck. Man was this scarf comfy! It was like snuggling with a very soft tempurpedic pillow. At least that's how it felt to Quinn himself. But then again according to one stranger he was called the 'Mad Ginger', which was a title he quite enjoyed. Made him sound like a legendary warrior from days old.

Ooooh the giddy laughter that escaped his chapped lips, as he finally arrived at a random corridor that he had chosen with his friend. Who was as equally mad as him. Maybe they should come up with a title? Oh yes absolutely, we can be the Mad Ginger Gang!!

A two to one ratio of dishwashing soap to light corn syrup had been the recipe for bubble trouble when Ami had been younger. The result had been massive bubbles that seemed impossible to pop, due to some science-related thing that Ami had never been patient enough to try and understand. Taking a long, thin twine and tying both ends to sticks made effective wands for these massive wands, but there was still one more key ingredient missing. She needed, of course, someone to play with her.

It sounded quite childish all written out in words like that, but it was true. What was the point of making bubbles by yourself? It was far more fun when you did it with friends, and Ami needed a friend to play with- although, that might've just been the hardest factor about this whole Bubble Debacle. That is, Ami seemed to only be friends with prefects, and no one else. Scott? Prefect. Amadea? Prefect. Cecily? Prefect. Quinn? Prefect. Wait, Quinn... Quinn was a prefect, but he was also okay with her bending rules and such- more so than, say, Amadea or Cecily. Perfect. Quinn would help her carry this out.

She had told him to meet in the hallway right by the open-air courtyard during class, and she found him there waiting for her right on time as she lugged along a heavy-duty plastic bucket and the bubble wands. She could, of course, simply use magic to levitate the bucket along the corridors, as she had learned the spell, but I feel I would have to roll for that and that's just too much work to do y'know? The slightly shorter redhead seemed a bit anxious and shaken up about skipping class, but Ami was totally fine with the idea.

She needed to get into more trouble, after all.

"Quinn!" she called out, alerting him to her presence. "Quinn, are ya ready or what?" Setting the bucket down, she handed him one of the bubble wands she had made, the skin on her hands rough and dry from the winter surrounding them like a thick, fluffy, suffocating blanket. The nail polish on her nails was chipped, too, evidence that she had actually been sleeping pretty well the past few nights rather than staying awake and painting her nails out of sheer boredom. Maybe her second year was going better than it might've seemed at first glance, looking at her IC dismal grades and attendance.

Dipping the string part of the bubble wand into the bubble solution, she lifted the wand high into the air, the string dangling beneath in a U shape and dripping bubble solution on the floor, and layer of bubble solution stretched across the hanging twine. "Here goes nothing," she said with a mischievous grin, and slowly, she waved her wand through the air. The air pushed the bubble solution into a form, and a massive bubble floated through the hallway.

Really, was there anything other to do now than to just laugh?
