The non-Elena wanted a pillow too, as tempted as she was to start making “Elena Only” jokes, Tina seemed the type to take something like that seriously, and so all Elena did was hold out a pillow, “I brought three, so that’s really lucky I guess.”

The peace and quiet Elena thought she would get in the trophy room appeared to be alluding her, although Elena Jangleton seemed like the type of person that the blue haired girl could get along with. There was a lot of intelligence in her eyes, but there was also something haunted hiding in the depths of them, Jones couldn’t help but feel concerned, not for herself but for Jangleton. Tina was someone she’d seen before, at almost every club tryout ever, Tina was even co-captain of the cheerleading squad, which made some sense, the girl had organisational skills at the very least.

“I swear to god I’ve met more people while looking for quiet than I have while actively seeking out company.” Elena shook her head and smiled, “Maybe divination will be a fun elective, I’m definitely going to do Care of Magical Creatures though, the professor’s pretty cool. At least that’s what I think.

She smiled at the third girl, the Ravenclaw among her group as she joined their converstation. All three of them were now armed with pillows. She found it amusing in a sense."I don't believe I caught your name?"She asked the Ravenclaw gently. She had probably mentioned it but Elena had been too far gone in her converstation with the other girl to catch it. Speaking of the other Elena, the Gryffindor found herself getting along quite well actually with the Slytherin. That was something she had not imagined possible but here she was and it was happening.'Care of Magical Creatures..huh.."She mused trying to recall whom was the instructor for that subject."Who teaches that?"She asked. The subject was among her favorites with Defense Against The Dark Arts being her first favorite followed by this class. It made sense to her at least seeing as her ambition was to pursue an career path as an Auror, part of it had to do with her parents but she decided to leave that depressing story for another time.

"Nothing tops Defense Against the Dark Arts in my book, though."She added smiling lightly. The class was fun, very hands-on and certainly something she felt she was good at. The prefect was glad the professor who was here was not around to hear her say that. After all, some tended toget very attached to their subject or so she assumed."So, I guess we were all looking for some quiet today, huh?"She added marveling at the fact. It was such a rare occurence but it was happening. Perhaps this school would not be as lonely as she had thought it would be on the boat ride however.

"I'm Tina," she answered, glancing at the doorway. She had no idea what to do or say. As the other girls talked, Tina drifted off into a daydream. She was the queen of a castle and was in battle, defending it from her opposing rival. Her opponent wanted to take over her land and make her soldiers prisoners, but she wouldn't give them the chance to even attempt such a terrible feat. With all her strength, she summoned a dragon by using magic with her bare hands and miraculously defeated the threat. Everyone was cheering and dancing when she snapped back to reality.

"Professor Griffith teaches the subject." Tina answers before adding, "Care of Magical Creatures and DADA are really amazing subjects. I find DADA entertaining and interesting, but I can't wait to interact with fascinating magical creatures."

Feeling a little uncomfortable, she shifts around and adjusts her pillow. She felt awkward and a little tense, but she was determined to make two new friends. She was grateful to Elena for the pillow and appreciated the smile the other Elena gave her. She chuckled at the little joke she made in her head. She smiled as she said, "I was hoping for some quiet, but I'm glad I met two kind people like you."

"Nice to meet you Tina." Elena nodded.

"Yep! Griffith is the best, I like him at least. Well, I'm biased, but I'm allowed to be, I'm a street kid. I can cling on to ideas of protection all I want." Elena laughed a little bit, "You guys really like DADA, don't you? Well, sorry to break the chain but my favourite is definitely History of Magic. Aoi is the coolest professor ever, well, apart from Griffith maybe. Honestly I can't choose between the two of them."

"Kind? Well I know some people that would disagree with you on that count Tina, but I'll take the compliment while it lasts. It's always nice to feel cared for, especially when you're unsure about the future." She turned and smiled at Elena Jangleton, "So, do you have a nickname? I could use my last name if you want, it'd make it easier to tell us apart when talking, Jones is fine by me, unless I could call you something like, uh..."

She thought for a moment then clicked her fingers, "Jangles! Is that okay with you? It's pretty happy as far as names go, you can call me Jones if you don't like it though. Oh, I just said that, sorry I'm just overly excitable sometimes."

She nodded noting down the Ravenclaw's name to herself. Tina, was it, the trio were getting along quite nicely with each other with their fluffy little pillows and what not. "Professor Griffith..he seems like an emotionless soul at times.."She said grinning recalling him from a common house gathering. He didn't exactly seem like the brightest person out there but she was sure he meant well. After all, each professor had their own style of teaching and as long as he didn't try to have a flobberworm crawl down her throat or something, she thought she would get along just fine with the teacher. The prefect grinned in reply to Elena's question."Yeah, DADA is just sort of my thing, guess, wanting to be an Auror and all that after graduation."She said as the girl brought up History of Magic. Elena didn't exactly dislike the course but she didn't admire it either. The coursework was massive with all the names, dates and whatnot you had to store in the back of your head for the homework that followed."I like history but it's so much memorizing at times, I feel like."She confessed to the other two recalling the contents of her textbook. It had only been a night ago she had poured into it beating the information into her head. She did not expect to get an O in the course though she would be surprised if she failed, it wasn't like Astronomy which to her was altogther a dull class.

"Jangles...huh....I like that. Deal."She said holding out her hand for a fist bump. Something about the name appealed to her but she couldn't place it yet."Jangles and Jones..I like the sound of that."It almost sounded like one of those wizarding shops in Diagon Alley. She grinned at the thought of that.'That means we need a nickname for you too."She said to Tina, a thoughtful expression crossing her features. Now, what would be a good nickname..no, that one was too broad..that was just plain. What would be a good nickname for a Ravenclaw with the most common name in all of England..Tina."What's your surname.?"She asked suddenly to the Ravenclaw, an idea sparking in her head.

A nickname....

Tina was curious to know what nickname they would come up with and hoped it would be  as simple and cool as their own. She wasn't sure what to expect as she said, "My last name is Addington."

Jones' doubt of considering herself to be a kind person made her a little worried. Does that mean she's really mean and pretending to be nice or was she just being modest? Tina wasn't going to allow herself to judge her based on her comment and decided to let things play out.

"I like the History of Magic teacher, and I agree with you, Jangles." Tina said, testing out the nickname. "The subject can be lengthy as it is captivating."

"I choose not to have a Professor Griffith, because there seems to be more to him than meets the eye. I guess I'll never know what it is since he never seems to open himself up to people." Tina says, thinking about the letter he sent to her after she applied for his club. It hurt her feelings and made her realized she would need to develop tougher skin if she was going to survive in the club. She added, "What do you think about the Charms teacher?"

Jones beamed and fist bumped Jangles, "Glad you like it!"

"Professor Aoi is a lot of fun too, I get what you mean about it being long but I like the work, it's sort of relaxing to have so much to do. So much to focus on." Jones paused for a second, "Charms is cool. Not my favourite, but I find it fun from time to time. And Elaine is pretty fun too."

"Addington, hmm." Jones tapped her arm as she thought, "How about Addi? It's short, sweet, and it fits."

"So, how come everyone here looked for peace and quiet in the same place? It's not the worst choice but it's sort of funny that we all came here at the same time." She smiled and put a pillow down somewhere comfy before sitting down on it, "Also, don't worry, I do think I'm nice, just have this little voice in the back of my head. It likes to tell me all the things that the people I used to live with said, but that's a story for another time I guess. One where I'm a lot more sobby, for now I think a good day is in order, don't you?"

"Addi..yeah..perfect!"She said grinning in response at Tina at the name of her own nickname. She had a feeling the Ravenclaw and her would be getting along well. It was a good one, simple and short, just the way a proper nickname should be at least in her opinion. She tilted her head questioningly at the mention of Charms. It was a fun subject and they learnt all sorts of nifty spells here and there to help them throughout their time. Anything that involved spellwork or hands-on interaction, that was the type of learning the prefect loved. She simply could not sit still in a rigid chair peering over a immense textbook, that simply was not her which was surprising given her orginal shy personality. One would think she would be a total bookworm but the Gryffindor was quite the opposite in fact."The course is handy and I do like it but still, you'd have a hard time convincing me that DADA is not top of the list."The girl said smiling wryly. Following suit, she propped her pillow up against a wall and laid down against it comfortably. Three students with pillow just taking it easy in the trophy room, surely they couldn't get in trouble for that, could they? She was sure they were probably breaking some miniscule rule of Hogwarts but it's not like they were causing a ruckus or sneaking out past curfew which to her seemed like more serious offenses.

Then, the question struck. It was indeed amusing how all three of them had ended up in this very room trying to seek some solace from the crowds of students roaming the castle and they all had their reasons but the Gryffindor was careful in how she worded her answer. In truth, she was still soaking in that information she had gotten that cold night on top of the Owlery but they didn't need to know that."Oh, just had to find someplace where I could just..you..know think about stuff. I do that a lot and the occasional chatter in the common room and dorms doesn't help." She shrugged as if she had done this before. You are a terrible liar, you know that?"What about you guys?"She asked in a hurry keen to divert any questions directed at her. Today was gonna be a good, happy day as Jones said, not one to mope about and she wanted to keep it that way.
