A Little Something in Common
Alexa had finally started enjoying her time at Hogwarts now that she had made some friends and gotten to know more about the school. She was back at the library, sitting on a couch reading something that was her favorite back at home. Although the library had endless shelves of books that she had never read, Alexa still enjoyed repeating some books that carried her away from the realm of reality. Today, she was reading Percy Jackson- a book that her muggle friend had suggested. Alexa ended up loving the first one so much that her parents bought her the whole set. She had adamantly said that she would take all the books with her to Hogwarts but then resorted to carrying just 2 when she found out that lift her trunk wasn't going to be easy..at all. She especially liked Thalia Grace, someone she related to and admired.
"I really should be studying", Alexa thought to herself. Back at home, her grades were excellent and her parents expected her to achieve the same at Hogwarts. Alexa hoped she could keep that promise up but she couldn't say that her performance in class was...terrific. She did have a stack of empty paper waiting for her back at her room but Alexa decided she could spare a few more minutes on the book. She read the novel, taking breaks to watch the other students in the library, and keeping track of the time before she had to go back to the dorms.

For the second time, Sere passed through the old oak large doors and entered the part that immediately being her favorite at Hogwarts since the first time she came: Library.
The tall shelves and the smell of books are definitely a perfect combination that could make Sere feels more excited. There is no class today and she already finished all her tasks. Today, Sere freed up her time in purpose to meet books.
So, what book am I gonna read today? Sere walked straight and started browsing into the shelves. The Gargoyles? I read that in my textbook, so it's a no. Wizarding Wars? God! Am I gonna learn it in the future? I obviously have to memorize a lot of things. History of Azkaban? Not interesting enough. The Wizard Council? No. The History of Gri-- Wait! Why are the entire books related to the History of Magic?! Ah, I must be in the history shelf.
Sere shook her head. No History of Magic -that would make her brain stop thinking and start memorizing- today. Sere immediately goes to another shelf. She looked at the fantasy novels. There are so many titles that she never know. I guess I haven't read many fantasy novels. Alright! Today is the time to read one from this genre.
Sere thinks for a moment and remember a novel that her language teacher at her old school often talked about. Sere even spent her time just to read various reviews of the novel until she memorized some important parts that mentioned often in the reviews. She always wants to read it, but have no time until she moved here.
Percy Jackson! Does this library have the entire series? Sere opened her eyes wide with joy when she saw the fourth one: The Battle of The Labyrinth among the fantasy books lined up on the shelf. Where is the first book? I remember very well that the title called The Lightning Thief.
Sere searched for about ten minutes before finally giving up. She took The Battle of The Labyrinth because she couldn't find The Lightning Thief. Slightly disappointed, Sere walked out of the shelves, look for a place to sit and -forcing herself- read an out-of-order series. I really want to read the first one now!
When she looked around to find a place, Sere seemed to found the jackpot. She finds it, The Lightning Thief! The book is in the hand of a dark-brown eyes with tanned-skin girl.
Without thinking, Sere approached the girl, dropped her gaze at the book in the girl's hand and continued, "I heard a lot about the book you read."
Just like that, Sere just want to greet the girl that -apparently- has the same interest as her. Maybe I will borrow the book after she finished it, but it is clearly not today. Sere took one empty seat near the window and started to read The Lightning Thief.
Alright! Let's see how this book goes...
