No Place I'd Rather Be
Min-seo was still asleep in Elena's arms. She hadn't gotten much sleep, for the whole week, she hadn't been sleeping that much. She wasn't aware of all the things around her as she slept. She did dream though.
"Min! Come on!"Her brother called out to her. It looked like it was summer. There was a picnic blanket laid out with their parents looking at them, laughing as the two children played. Min-seo's hair was in two buns with red ribbons tied around them. She smiled as she ran in the longish, green grass with yellow flowers in it. She was chasing a butterfly, which was a very light shade of blue. Min-seo tripped in the grass and got some dirt on her face, but kept on chasing it. "Min-seo, don't go too far!" her mother called out. She smiled back at her, her light freckles on her cheeks becoming more prominent in the sun. The butterfly flew into the forest, and her parents said not to go past there. She looked sad and ran back and sat on her father's lap. One happy little family, but not for long....
Min-seo had one tear go down her face while she slept, but she had a small smile. She heard music. Was it from her dream? Maybe.
