Band Meeting Info:

Band practice! The thread will be open for ten days before it is closed to give every member a chance to participate. If you miss, please owl me and inform me of that absence and I will make sure you are up to speed!

Within a meeting, we practice our music as well as go over important matters. When roleplaying in them, please make sure to:

A) Not post excessively. To ensure this rule, you are allowed to add to the thread two times in between each time I post.

B) Be kind to everyone. It is okay to get frustrated or have other emotions, but be responsible and take care of yourself and others.

C) Voice questions, comments, ideas, concerns, etc. Thats what these things are for!

D) This is a flood. You do not have to stick to 200 words, but please be detailed with your actions, thoughts, and what you say.

And, have some fun! These are supposed to be entertaining, not stressful.

Talia finished setting up the amp cords and speakers for her guitar. Her hand trembled slightly as she did, and her breath caught. All through her head, a river of worry flowed steadily.

Was this really a good idea?
Are you prepared to run a band? Responsible enough? Confident Enough?

Now, these insecurities Tal could shake away. Yeah, it had to be a good idea. She was helping Rorie Thompson, practically her sister, out. After all, Rorie had started the band, but with recent events in her family, she'd had to step down, asking Tal to take on the job. Tal couldn't be too bad at it if Rorie trusted her with it.

Did you forget something, Talia?

Now, this one constant question was always causing the little girl anxiety. Did she forget to tell the band members there was a meeting? Did she forget any of the equipment? Any of the plans for the day?

She heard the door of the rehearsal room open loudly, and quickly twirled around to find the source of the noise. Rorie.

Talia squeaked excitedly and ran over to her best friend, hugging onto her tightly. "Hiyyyyyyya!"

Rorie returned the hug weakly and just softly said, "Mum's doing bad. I gotta go again."

Tal looked up to the girl, her eyes full of empathy. She knew the type of thing Rorie was going through. "You'll get through this."

"Yeah, I know. You got the club for now, then?" came Rorie's solumn response.

Talia nodded, giving her friend one last comforting hug before watching her go.

Returning to the stage, Talia strummed her electric guitar absentmindedly as she waited for the meeting to begin.
