Melancholy Thoughts Closed

Adohiro listened to her kind advice and he smiled softly."I feel like my family will disown me if I do not prove my worth to them. I am the fifth son of my family so I would most likely not get any shares or profit. At least I am not like my sister who will get nothing from my family. If I am lucky, I will get a position in my family's business. I was never close with my family. It was more like a business relationship than a happy family." Adohiro explained. He hadn't really talked much about his family since it was a sad subject. The one thing he had always wished for as a child to have a loving relationship with his family and not one that was like a business. "My family has been walking all over people. I was taught that, but I do not believe that is the right thing." Adohiro spoke. However, he heard a stranger's voice which he turned his head toward, giving a soft smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Lilac. I am Adohiro." He smiled and he heard Aliea's question and he nodded his head. "Of course." He spoke. Now looking back, he had never really had any females friends, most of them only wanted to be his friend so he could give then answers for homework and tests. Never really any for kindness or friendship, but only to use him.

     Aliea's eyebrows curved down in a sad frown, as she heard Adohiro's story. More like a business relationship... She gave Adohiro a sorrowful look, wanting to comfort him. Remembering what her mother did to her, she threw her hands around Adohiro, hoping it'll give him some company. However, within moments, she realized what she'd done, and reluctantly let go. "Sorry," she cast him an apologetic look. "Just wanted to cheer you up, that's all. I don't know what exactly I can do to help you and family's relationship, but I can cheer you up!" She grinned. She turned her head towards the willow, and back to Lilac and Adohiro. 
     Aliea took a step towards the willow, when she saw Lilac running towards the big tree. She giggled, wanting to join in. "Hey," she called out, "No fair!" She started speeding up, when she stopped herself. She looked back to Adohiro, and grabbed his hand. "Let's go! It'll be fun." Aliea exclaimed, and let out a short laugh. She started to walk towards the willow, lightly pulling on Adohiro's hand. She was determined to make him happy, at least for today. They would also talk about their own worries and problems, their school work, and a lot of things. She shouted to Lilac. "We're coming!" She smiled at the thought, heading towards the willow which seemed big enough to support all their weight on it's branches. 

Adohiro was taken aback when the girl had wrapped her arms around him. He didn't ever remember ever being hugged beside by his eldest brother's wife who was a kind person. Aliea had smelled nice and he began to blush darkly on his cheeks. It was his first time ever being close to the opposite sex.  He heard her apologize and he shook his head, smiling. "It is alright,  Aliea. Thank you very much." He smiled happily and he glanced at the willow tree once more. He saw Lilac run toward the willow tree and saw Aliea pursuit after the other girl. But he then felt a warm hand grab his hand and he nodded, smiling.  He began to run after her and heard Aliea's shout. "I will win!" He smiled, reminding him of some good childhood memories he had with his third oldest brother who he would play day and night with him until he moved away after an arranged marriage. He let go of Aliea's hand and began to climb up on the tall willow tree. He had climbed a few trees growing up, but never a willow tree. He had climbed up on a few Wisteria trees growing in his family's large estate.

     Aliea beamed as Adohiro started to run with her. She was eager to get to talk with them, and have some fun. She felt Adohiro let go of her hand, and watched him go up the willow. She had a joyous grin on her face, and she began to climb following the boy. She reached the branch where Lilac was sitting, and climbed up on it. The branch was thick, and the leaves from the branches created a cool shade where they would be shielded from the hot sun. She stretched her arms, and gazed out onto the scenery. The lake looked peaceful, as the sun glazed on the surface of the water. However, she did read some books on what lived underneath, and she knew the stories about the lake. However, this wasn't the time to think about those things. 
     Aliea had waited for Adohiro to come up, then turned her attention towards Lilac, and asked. "Lilac, now tell us about you. What were you doing before you came to Hogwarts?" She looked curiously at the girl. "You're in Gryffindor! Like me!" She exclaimed, happy to meet a fellow student from the same house. Aliea waited for the girl's answer, and swung her legs back and forth on the branch. 

Lilac opened her eyes, feeling the branch dip a bit. she looked over her to her right as she came face to face with Aliea, shocked a bit she jumped slightly Lilac let out a weird sound and move away slightly. "Oh gosh, it's just you" The girl muttered moving back to her original spot.

"Lilac, now tell us about you. What were you doing before you came to Hogwarts?" Her heart stopped as she replayed those words in her head over and over, she shifted uncomfortably before looking away. How would she even answer this? 'you really wanna know? my family are a bunch of loose screws and have not given me a single bit of freedom!' she mentally facepalmed and sighed."You're in Gryffindor! Like me!" Aliea exclaimed, swinging her legs happily. "Yeah, though I don't think I belong in this house" she muttered, grabbing Adohiro's hand and pulling onto the branch next to her.

"The real question is what were you two doing before Hogwarts" Lilac grinned, folding a piece of paper that she found in her cloak into a swan. They were both so... intriguing.. to her, They looked like the just popped into existence with like the coolest glow around them. She covered her cheeks and let out a little squeal "I have cool friends~"

Aliea smiled as she basked in the company of her two friends. She turned her head to Lilac, hearing the question. "The real question is what were you two doing before Hogwarts". She raised her eyebrows slightly in thought. "Umm... I haven't really had an eventful childhood, but the fact that my mom had studied in Hogwarts before. My dad, I don't see him often. He is a muggle, and he works for the..." She trailed off, unable to think of the word. "The... gournment? Govenment? Something like that, I really don't understand. But because of this work he has, we can't meet often." She said, looking between her two friends. 
Aliea moved her gaze up to the sky. She didn't mind that she couldn't meet often with her father. They still maintained a great relationship, him often buying her gifts whenever he'd come back. But it wasn't their relationship she was worried about. It was her parents' relationship. Ever since her father came back after a long trip, their relationship started going downhill. Even Aliea herself noticed it. He hadn't contacted home for quite a time, too. But it wasn't too much of a problem yet, and she wasn't worried much. She hoped that her parents' relationship would get better over the years. 
Aliea wrenched herself out of her thoughts, and smiled brightly at her friends. Those thoughts would have to come later on.
