Dear Mom and Aunt;
Hogwarts is a more magnificent and wonderful place than you describe. I don't know if Alex told you, but I was sorted into Gryffindor and the common room is pretty nice. A dormitory is a fascinating place. They have a lot of secrets and all kinds of mysteries.
When I arrived I thought I wouldn't make that many friends, but I made a lot of friends.
