The flames that daintily licked at the enchanted material that contained the otherwise ferocious fires barely illuminated the dimly lit hall. Dinara took her time in strolling past the various paintings -- notable witches and wizards towered down from above her, some stern, some smiling, some indifferent.

Many things in the wizarding world had incited various reactions from Dinara, yet she had never quite been this amazed at anything else. How could a sentient lifeform be captured in a painting? Did this mean that people lived on even after death as long as their likeness was captured in painting? Did thi-

Shaking her head rid of the thoughts, Dinara went back to admiring all the little antics of the wizards and witches all mounted on the walls. She wondered if it ever gets lonely being confined in their small frames; the lass was not aware of the fact that these people could simply move in and out of their frames at will.

She cautiously touched the hem of a witch's dress. The witch donned a large, pointy blue hat, and a rather old-fashioned looking dress. Dinara supposed that she probably lived long before she was born; judging by the style of the painting and the fashion in which she dressed. The seemingly sentient witch continued to smile gently while looking forward, not paying any heed to Dinara. Did she simply not care enough to react, or could they not react?

Dinara's curious mind set to work, and she begun running around, testing the reactions of different paintings to the various interactions that she could do to them.
