Once Upon a December
Min-seo walked into the large ballroom, taking in how beautiful it was. She smiled and looked around. When she was sure there wasn't anyone there, she sat down to take her boots off and coat. She grabbed her point shoes, slipped them onto her delicate and small feet, and laced them up. She grabbed her phone. Yes, electronics do go haywire at Hogwarts, but she had the music downloaded, so she could use it. She was already wearing a dress made of a thin material, like silk, with a ribbon tied around her waist, the bow in the back, which isn't very traditional for ballet, but it was the only thing she had for the moment. She looked out the window. It was snowing. She smiled. She ran back over to her phone and started the music. To those who've watched Anastasia, you would know the song. Once Upon a December, but it was only the music, no words. She broke into dancing, doing twirls, leaps, and much more. She could feel the music, the overall tone of it. It was peaceful and it felt like a dream of some sort. Going on her toes, she did pirouettes, jetés etc. all around the room, not taking in anything from the outside world besides the music.

Once Upon a December
Sylvie was walking in the fourth-floor hallway, heading from the library. She had the book she had recently checked out in hand and was carefully searching through it, smiling as she read. She was fixated on the stories in it and giggled. It was one of the many books my Gilderoy Lockhart. It wasn't a comedy, she still found it humorous considering that it was all a lie and that the author, and former teacher at Hogwarts, had wanted so badly to be famous, he stole other peoples memories and accomplishments. She would've never done all of that for fame, but that was just her. Still, she had to admit, he was a decent writer.
Her feet made a tapping noise as she walked down the halls, and the paintings on the walls watched her as she passed. It was nice and tranquil, and a calm tune played in the background. "Wait, music?" Sylvie said, confused. As she continued to walk the music because louder, and she kept on walking until she found herself in front of a door, and she peered inside. She saw a girl doing ballet, to a song that Sylvie recognized, but could not name for the life of her. She quietly stepped inside, making no sound, and sat down on the floor. She saw that it was Min- Seo, the Slytherin girl from her year. She smiled, and looked down at her book, continuing to read.

Once Upon a December
She saw no one. She kept on dancing, smiling. Though her toes hurt, and she was tired, it really made her happy. She did complicated spins and leaps, using her flexibility to her advantage. The ribbon she used to tie her hair with came undone and her brown hair fanned out with her dress while spinning. Shoot. She kept on dancing though, ignoring it. She went on point, and did a few things then, slowly going into the splits, and fell forward, resting her head on her knees and arms out straight. She took a few breaths, trying to breath slowly. When the song finished, she quickly tied her hair back up again. She quickly got her phone and turned off the music. She sat down for a bit, closing her eyes. She opened them again and walked to the window, standing on her toes to see the snow. It was steadily getting darker. How long had it been since she got there? She sighed, and walked to get her coat, but saw a girl with blonde hair reading a book. She jumped back in surprise. What? When did she get here. ”How long have you been there?” she asked in a slightly paranoid voice.

Once Upon a December
Sylvie looked up from her book to see the concerned looking girl. "About... two minutes give or take." She said, smiling and continuing to look at the book. "You were pretty good, I came because I heard the music when I was walking away from the library. It was nice and peaceful, sounded like something they would play during the Winter Olympic ice skating tournaments. It always makes you feel some weird feeling of happiness that you just can't explain." Sylvie flipped the page, still scanning through the book while talking.
"I didn't know this room existed, it's very big, it feels like it could go on forever. " Sylvie stood up and sighed, putting her book away, and setting her bag down. "This reminds me of a room in my school. The boys I was friends with and I used to run through it, not caring about anything else, it was fun. Watch." Sylvie said, sticking out her arms and running at full speed towards the other side of the room. The wind blew through her long wavy hair and her face lit up. She finally got to the other side, and she slid onto the ground. "You try! Come on, it's fun!" she said, seeing the girl's look of confusion from all the way on the other side.
