A resting place
Ah, yes. Finally. An actual quiet place in the castle. Although Heather was creeped out by the amount of trees that had to be chopped down to make this magnificent library, it was really cozy and quiet in here- just what she needed. She just needed a break. Even though she had a good cry in the abandoned bathroom, Heather still needed space. And what better place to relax than behind a shelf, on a dusty couch? Unfortunately, Heather had to cross the unlucky corridors again to reach this place, but it was well worth it. The secluded chair was in the perfect spot, just away enough from humans, but still surrounded by sociable trees- dead or alive. Dang, this place used a lot of wood. It didn't look dark enough to be a dark oak tree, which was the kind of tree Heather cared for the most, but she still felt rather sorry.
However, peace and quiet was not the only reason Heather came here. She always had her nose in a book, as her Muggle friend Archer would say. And the vast selection of books here at the Hogwarts library was mouth-opening. She was sure that she could find a good, magical fantasy to indulge herself in. This was a rare treat, as back at home, there weren't a lot of books to fill her bookcase. But here-! Oh, how spoiled Heather would become from this many books! That thick, orange book over there looked interesting. Heather wandered over to it. The title was The Hogwarts Games, and on the backcover it said, "Warranted to produce any number of thrills. A parody to the Muggle book The Hunger Games." So that was why it intrigued her! Heather loved The Hunger Games, and it was one of the few Muggle books Heather owned.
Heather grabbed the book and curled up on the couch. Time to dive into another world.
