Scary, bustling activity
Heather looked around timidly. Here was a busy corridor, filled with young witches and wizards bustling about. She glanced around wistfully, wishing that she was back at home, in the hut of the Dark Forest, where she had always lived, until one fateful day an owl arrived. This, this was nothing like her peaceful room, with little space but a comfy bed and her dark, wooden desk and wardrobe. The entire mood was different. Here, at Hogwarts, there were not very many trees. There were only humans, and ever so many of them. Heather missed the dark oak trees back at home so very terribly. The trees were understanding creatures, and nothing like judgemental humans. The only two people Heather had ever been good at interacting with were her aunt and her Muggle friend, Archer. Here at Hogwarts, she didn't even have the courage to walk up to the portraits or ghosts of the Houses, much less talk with an actual classmate or professor. And every once in a while someone would look over to Heather's dyed hair and whisper something in their friend's ear. Heather was really starting to feel uncomfortable and just when she felt a lump coming her throat, someone crashed into her. Ink, quills, parchment, and books all crashed onto the ground.
