yeah! and guess what? aries asked one of her friends. they were sitting in the study room, awaiting their assigned mentees. aries had signed up for this since it would help her get better experiences, and a good score. not that she didnt like tutoring others, she loved being bossy and still helping, but right now wasnt the best time to approach her. aries's friends had just received their first year partners, and were quite excited.

hello, im delainie, i just signed up for the group! aries glanced at her thinking, must be my mentee. i guess we both signed up late, and that what you get. aries rolled her eyes, crossed her legs, and jumped off the desk she had been sitting on. everyone else was already deep in discussion right now. im aries, call me rie though. she held out a hand for delainie to shake.

come sit down, i suppose. what do you need help with? aries knew she was good at everything, because she wouldnt fail, since she was too much of a perfectionist for that. she could help with anything, even if she didnt want to. aries signaled to the cedar and caramel colored desk. her dark cocoa eyes followed her gaze, staring at delainie to follow her.

My smile faded, the girl who I was now assigned to didn’t seem too friendly. She had rolled her eyes, crossed her legs, and just overall seemed pretty closed off and mean. Unsurly I walked a little but closer to where she was now standing
. “Ok, um, hi Rie” I said nervously to the girl. My hand, I noticed, was trembling nervously as I reached out to shake hers. The girl asked me what it was I needed help with, I wasn’t too sure. “Well um, I don’t… really know” I said to Rie. I was quite sure she wouldn’t really like my answer too much, so I added onto it, I didn’t want to make any bad first impressions on one of my tutors, she would be helping me often I think. “I just really want a higher average, so I guess a little bit of help on everything. If… you could do that?”. I didn’t really know why I was getting so nervous, I wasn’t usually so. Aries went over to another desk, and I was pretty sure she wanted me to follow her there as well. I quickly walked over. “So, what are we, gonna, do now? And how often are you going to tutor me?” I asked her nervously, ugh why was I so nervous!

so, what are we, gonna, do now? and how often are you going to tutor me? delainie asked. oh, miss delle, we will have so much fun! rie replied with a grin. delle sat down and replied to more of rie's questions with vague answers.

we could start with getting to know each other. rie snapped, as delle was still going on. im rie, your tutor amd i like kuromi, books, daggers. & scythes, and decorating. how about you? rie questioned the little girl. she seemed small now, shyer and more afraid. oh, pardon, how have i already scared her? she rolled her eyes and listened over to another conversation while waiting for delle to speak up.

i feel so bad for aries. she got the weird girl, i mean how much dumber could a ravenclaw get, that she needs tutoring sessions. aries saw a second or third year girl with frizzy red hair, paint on her hands, twirling her wand around. she caught rie's quick glance and smirked. oh, darling, dont you worry, shes way better than you ever will be. aries had never once insulted an older girl, but she spoke with confidence in her sassy tone. she winked to delle, why did i say that? and put back her casual frown not always that nice she muttered, hoping delle heard her. they had sat down and rie was taking notes on delainie's words.

Aries, or Rie as she said to call her, said it was going to be fun, yet she really didn’t seem too nice. The girl snapped as I was taking, I didn’t mean to be annoying or anything, I just had some questions, that’s why I was here. “I, um, uh,” I stuttered “like to read… and study, and um, play with my pet bunny”. I was blanking, suddenly I had forgotten what things I liked and my hobbies, and I didn’t really know why. Rie rolled her eyes at me, I don’t think she likes me too much. Uh oh, what did u do wrong?! I thought. I had only just come to the very first session and I’ve already made a bad impression on my tutor. I was sure you could see the panic and fear in my face. A few older girls were saying rude things about me, like how I’m really dumb, and for a Ravenclaw. I looked down, I wasn’t dumb, just, in need of help. The tutoring program was to help me improve, but they didn’t have to be like that. Aries got mad at them, I looked up and smiled, thankful for her defence. She said that she wouldn’t always be nice like that or something, I was still restful for that though. “Thanks” I said “so um, when do we start?”

thanks, delle said, uncertainly, so um, when do we start? aries shrugged and replied with a calm tone, right now, obviously! she shook her head in disbelief of how boring her questions were. you like to read, and study? whatver. and the bunny? same, well mines such a cliché, its called devil spawn, but shes adorbs. and yours? trying to make conversion, rie jotted down as quickly as delle spoke. it well like she was at home, in her muggle schools.


delainie didnt seem the type to cry about things, or be introverted. she was just scared, and rie felt pity. not much of a talker, huh? she whispered mostly to herslef, but knew delle heard her. she wrote some questions on a piece of parchment. show me your assignment from any dificult classes. she gave her a hard look, that clearly read dont talk back, just do it and awaited the response.

she twiddled with her own heartstring cire wand, and rubbed the edges. she looked outside the window closest to their desks, smiling at the bright shining sun. isnt it beautiful? a voice inside her called. she turned, as her choppy mud puddle colored hair, swished to the side. she grinned at delle, unconsciously, because of her great mood.

Rie said that we are going to start right now, her answer took my by a little bit of surprise, I thought today was only going to be for sign ups. “Oh ok!” I said, just because I didn’t expect to start today didn’t mean that I didn’t want to. “Oh I named mine Whiskers!” I told Aries with a huge grin. I loved Whiskers so much!

I heard Rie say something about me not being much of a talker, that wasn’t usually true, but Aries just felt different, that made me nervous. I looked up at her then immediately back down at the table. “We’ll um, nothings super hard for me I guess, I just mostly get E’s in everything” I said to Aries. I noticed that she was giving me a look, so I panicked and said “I don’t really know what I was thinking, sorry”. I wasn’t really sure what I had just apologized for though.

Rie was fiddling with her wand, so for some reason, I started doing the same. She smiled at me, I wasn’t sure if she meant to or not, but I hoped it was because I was making a good impression on her now. I smiled back.

dont apologize aries muttered. she understood the fear, and misunderstood the relationship betweeen them it could be very precious, if not completely ruined by rie herself. yknow what? we got off on a bad start, follow me! i promise i can make the while worth it, you mist have a bit of adventurous spirit in you, there is no way the only thing you could care about is studying. hint hint, i didn't come here to tutor. she smirked right to dela's face.

picking up her pace, she stode confidently crossing her legs, as her choppy hair swished around. if you werent named delainie silverwing or aries scythe, you might've thought rie was crazy. nevermind even a delaine silverwing wouldve though that. aries's mind raced with possibilities on where to take delle. but she already knew the answer.

rie sniffed the air upon them, walking into an enclosed space with broken pieces around.she stepped on all of them with her fancy high boots with heels. she could feel the tense vibrations between them, and maybe perhaps slight curiosity within dela. giving people new experiences was a thing of aries's but this one was new to herself as well. she took a deep breath and enetered the abandoned toilets.
