What a killjoy! Hannah apparently had no intentions of joining Winona in teasing the moderator. The Gryffindor even had the audacity to return sassy remarks right back. How annoying. She was getting used to Hannah missing her spells that this time she could not manage to dodge the softening charm coming her way. Fortunately, the charm was so mild that despite having a very low pain tolerance, Winona barely even felt it.

The Flipendo she cast was almost dodged by Hannah. Maybe she was finally starting to warm up? It seemed like it would be best for Winona to continue focusing on the duel instead of trying to make fun of Lea. It sure was getting irritating with both of them talking back, but winning the duel would be better than any comeback that Winona could think of at the moment.

With a little scoff, she responded, standing perfectly still, showing no reaction to the spell that hit her. "Wow. Congratulations on your first hit. Too bad it was useless." Winona spoke, looking unimpressed, with no enthusiasm left in her voice. "You know Lea, you're wasting your potential as an acrobat in this dueling club." The reference made it clear that Winona was not going to forget the backflip Lea did in the previous duel any time soon.

Hannah smirked once she heard the moderator's reply. She would actually love to do it if she finished the duel without going to the hospital wing, or better, if the girl won, she would love to use her as a dummy.

Her spell worked to her surprise. After she said the word "Spongify" She was quite proud, but tried not to show it, but a soft chuckle escaped her mouth and she smirked.

The Flipendo Winona had cast barely hit Hannah, and she didn't even feel anything, well she throw back a few centimeters, but she wasn't hurt at all. The girl was quite happy because of this.

It seemed as if Winona couldn't fail, which seemed weird, she had successfully hit Hannah with every spell she had cast. This seemed a bit suspicious, or maybe she was just good at Charms? That wasn't possible. Hannah was a straight "O" student in Charms, but she failed almost every spell? Impossible.

"Thank you, but respectively. Shut up." she said after she spoke. Then she spoke something about Lea, the moderator. "Oh and she's better than you. You aren't even part of the duelling team, so can you just, shut up?" she said, defending the moderator. She wasn't in any of the girl's sides in this "feud" that they were in.

She then grabbed her wand and was absolutely sure which spell she would choose.

It seemed as though the hits had been taken quite personally as both grew angrier, Lea a bit baffled by the words- thank you? why thank you?- and rather entertained as she watched from the side. Yes, Winona threw a comment her way but it seemed Hannah had taken the mantle of defending the Hufflepuff, a small surprise. Not a job she expected but certainly one she didn't mind, a small smirk of pride on her face. Still, the fourth year couldn't keep quiet as she offered, "and why not do both?" to Winona's suggestion, ignoring the fact that Lea did not know how she backflipped in the first place.

Both chose fire, one a stronger variant than the other- although what was lost in the difficulty of a spell was made up in what seemed to be sheer spite and annoyance as Hannah acted first and shot her flames across to Winona. Brown eyes widened at the force put behind the spell, wondering if the Slytherin's last jab had sealed her fate. The spell hit, properly this time, the flame sticking around after the strike as it found whatever flammable materials were in Winona's sleeves and refused to be put out unless further actions were taken.

Perhaps the Slytherin fumbled her concentration after not expecting to get hit or the flames were too much for her, but either way her accuracy proved off this time as the second, stronger version of the Fire-Making Spell flew into the air. Not inaccurate enough to miss, Winona managed to keep some hold of it and keep the spell on course, but enough to only graze past with no comparable intensity to the previous fire casts. Still, the flame persisted despite its smaller size- similar to that of a candle that never completely flickered out. The rounds were increasingly interesting now, wondering if Winona would keep her lead or if Hannah finally found her stride and would rise up.

Annoying, how Gryffindor was able to handle being hit by several spells so calmly. Winona herself had little to no tolerance for bearing pain. So much so that once the flames caused by Hannah's fire making spell touched her skin, she let out a little, high-pitched yelp, unable to follow her own spell with her eyes to check if it was successful.

It took the Slytherin a couple of seconds to fix her posture and her grip on her wand. With a pouty face, she finally responded, "You're just so rude! I had the decency to be friendly and talk to you, and this is how you respond!" her voice was similar to a little child who was not able to get what she wanted, angry, frustrated and yet annoying.

Sadly, this was genuinely an attempt to be friendly on Winona's part. Too bad it still was a little too hostile for the other girl. Their few and annoying interactions only increased Winona's desire to win. Especially after being told Lea was better than her, she just had to prove how skilled she was. But for the short amount of time she had for choosing her next action, it was hard to figure out if she should extinguish the flames or try enduring them and shoot a spell.

The Incendio had worked wonders, and Winona herself had cast a Incendio as well but, it didn't work as good as Hannah's. It had worked wonders.

She couldn't help but smile after she shouted "Incendio" and the spell worked miracles. However the smile soon faded after Winona said something about her being rude.

"And I had the decency to respond. I'm not rude, if anything you are." the girl said, not knowing what to think. She herself was rude. Seemed as if the only thing she had done was make rude comments.

"And look, honestly, you deserve being shut up a little. Really, it seems as if the only thing you know how to do is be mean. Doesn't matter if you're joking or not. This is supposed to be fun." she said while looking straight at the black-haired girl. That was the truth, and now she wasn't being sarcastic.

Hannah held tightly her wand, and thought of her next spell. Her words only made her want to win even more. So, she cast her spell. Well, let's win this. she thought while concentrating a lot, she was going to win this duel, she still had a few tricks up her sleeves.

And... emotions reached the tipping point, brown eyes flicking between the two as they riled each other up. It seemed to be helping their spells out, though- or at least Hannah's- a strange revelation Lea was curious to see if it would maintain its truth. She always assumed the opposite, emotions would simply reduce concentration and performance, but perhaps there was something to letting your feelings guide your spells.

Both chose to ignore the flames that burned at their sides, sapping some of the little energy both had left. Both also chose the same spell, everyone aware that this duel wouldn't last much longer. On their last legs, all they had to do was hit with as much force as the two could muster. Winona, a bit more experienced with duels, let the blue light of the Knockback Jinx fly faster and with more force, crashing into the Gryffindor as she focused on sending off her own spell. Despite the force, it wouldn't be enough as Hannah took the push as she had the rest of the attacks- well, surprisingly well to Lea. While Hannah couldn't put as much power into the jinx, she wouldn't need to as the spell struck and sent the Slytherin stumbling back. Had there been no fire perhaps Lea would've let the duel continue another round or two, but with the flames lapping up any of Winona's remaining energy and really not wanting to drag someone unconscious (even if it might be easier from how well last time went), Lea stepped forth in between the two girls. That would hopefully give them enough pause, but if not the fourth year was prepared to dodge any last incoming spells.

"Alright- I'm calling it there. Hannah, congratulations on your win." Her head bobbed in acknowledgement as a chestnut wand slipped out from its pocket and into the Hufflepuff's palm. "Extinguo. Extinguo." Winona and Hannah would both have their flames vanish before they could inflict any further injuries. Her attention kept switching between the two, lingering ever so slightly longer on the Slytherin as Lea wondered whether she would blame their previous duel for her loss. "I suggest you both go down to the Hospital Wing, they'll be able to heal you more but first- Reparifors. Reparifors." It would help slightly, the healing process started and some pain reduced but it was not anywhere near the care provided at the Wing- just enough to help walk over there and giving Lea an opportunity to show off and/or help out.
