Bailey decided that it was a wonderful day to take a walk. It was a really nice day, this third of September. Sunny, a light breeze in the air, just delightful.
Walking down the front steps of the castle, bailey leaned her head back slightly, enjoying the warmth of the sun on her face.
Bailey was dressed in a loose blue blouse, with white shorts. White loafers accompanied the pairing, and her jewelry consisted of a pendant with blue flowers inside, and a silver ring with a blue gem.
Walking down the hill, bailey held her bag over her shoulder. Inside her book bag she had her wand, her water bottle, her book that she was currently reading - a muggle romance by the name of Prince Charming -, and then also a snack in the form of a slightly stale kolache from home.
Pulling out her kolache, she took a bite. She smiled, at the taste of home, of pastry and fruit filling, both made by her and her mum, with the help - if you can call it that - from her father and her brothers. Arriving at a tree, one that she had spent considerable time at - even one with a particular 5th year.
Settling down at the base of the tree, book in hand, snack in the other. Bailey would sit here.... until a new friend finds her way over to her.

Today was a wonderful, sunny day out, perfect I thought, for taking a walk around the grounds of Hogwarts. I had a new outfit in today, I rarely wore anything other than my robes. Today, I had on a brown top and cargo pants, with a zip up hoodie around my shoulders. There was a light breeze which was making me fairly cold, but the sun was nice.
I saw a girl, who seemed to maybe look a year or two older than me walking down a hill. She had really nice blue and white clothes on, I guess she knew how to dress. I started walking over to the girl, I don’t think I had ever seen her before, but I really wanted to compliment her clothes. As I got a lot closer, I also noticed she had a blue pendant around her neck pretty I thought. The girl went down and sat at the bottom of a tree and started reading, and eating “Um, hey!” I shouted uncertainly. I hoped that this new girl was friendly, she was a Ravenclaw too by the looks of it, somebody from my own house!“I um, really like your outfit!” I smiled kindly at the girl. Bailey smiled to herself as she read her book. The sunshine warming her face felt delightful... and there was only thing that could and would make this day better she decided. i need a friend... a new friend!!! or an old one.. i wouldn't mind seeing @Colin McCoire, i haven't seen him in a while.... or @Lucian Mornstern - we should play more football americans read soccer sometime!!! she thought, smiling at the thought of her dear snek friends. Of course bailey had friends in other houses, but her dearest friends were Sneks, and then Griff too. we cannot forget kim, can we? bailey thought, a small sad smile forming across her lips.
Bailey took a bite of her slightly stale kolache that she and her mum had made, and was just swallowing when a voice shouted a hello. looking up, bailey saw that a younger girl, an first year by the looks of it, was speaking to her. Smiling, bailey closed her book after placing a bookmark in it to keep her spot. Bailey placed the book next to her and said "oh hello!!!". Smiling wider when the younger girl complemted her outfit. Bailey beamed up at the younger girl and said "thank you!!! your outfit is super cute too, it goes really well with you hair, and really makes your eyes pop!! and i love your smile!!"
Bailey, realizing that she maybe had said too much at once, paused before continuing. Standing up, she said "well... i was just hoping for a new friend!! i am so glad you came to say hello! anyways, my name is Bailey Glade; im a fourth year - wow that's crazy to say - and im a ravenclaw!! and you are..?
Bailey stuck out her hand for the other girl to shake if she wanted or felt comfortable doing so.
After introductions were over, bailey would sit back down, and invite the girl to do the same. "come, sit - i mean, only if you want too... I would love to get to know you better!!! and don't worry, you're not disturbing me, i was just reading a book, but i'll just finish it tonight!!"

The girl actually seemed really nice, she greeted me back, and also even complimentemed my outfit too. She said that her name is Bailey, and a forth year. Wow she’s much older than me I thought. Never mind that, as long as she’s kind I don’t really mind it. “Cool! I’m a first year, also Ravenclaw” I said with a smile, then I panicked remembering I didn’t tell her my name. “oh I’m Delainie, Silverwing” I said quickly. Oops. The older girl, Bailey, stuck out her hand, I think I was meant to shake it. I reached my own hand out and gave hers a weak shake. I had never shook someone’s hand before, I didn’t go out and meet others much before Hogwarts, so there wasn’t really any need to shake hands. Bailey say back down in her spot, then she invited me to sit with her! “Oh thanks you!” I said excitedly, as I happily thumped down beside her. “So um, what do you like to do in your free time? I like reading or studying, and playing with my pet bunny Whiskers!” I said to her. I wondered if Bailey also had a pet, I had pretty recent gotten mine. I hope that I can become friends with her, she seems lovely I thought. I needed more friends, I was going to be here for seven years and it’s a magical school, I’ll surely need friends to help me, and they’re just great to have. I didn’t really know what to say to her, so I just smiled brightly.WC: 262Current Dates:
