History/ Background Story: Lucy grew up in a magicical home in Watford. But not all of her family members are magical. Her dad is a muggle who teaches at a local highschool. Lucy's mom is a witch and works in the ministry of magic, department of International Magical Cooperation. Her mom also has a brother, Thomas Fernsby, which is traveling around the world to learn about all the different kinds of magic. Sadly, Lucy never got to meet her Grandparents because they died long before she was born.
Because her parents were always busy, Lucy began to entertain herself by reading books. Soon, she became a huge bookworm. This resulted in her staying at home most of the time, so she only had one friend. Her neighbour Toby.
Toby is a muggle and lives right next to her. In fact, their windows are opposite eachother so they can look into eachaother's rooms. Toby was her first friend and he is like a brother to her. But he doesn't know that Lucy is a witch.
Lucy's first instance of magic was short after her 7th birthday. Her mom made a little tornado with a few leaves that were in their garden. When she went in the house to get something, Lucy managed to also spin the leaves around with magic. But way smaller than her mom's.
When Lucy was 7, her parents took her on a vacation to Germany. That's where she met her second friend, Katharina. The two girls met on a playground and instantly became friends. They liked the same books and were both outcasts. On the third day of her vacation, they climed a tree. But Lucy slipped and fell. Luckily, her magic cushioned her fall and she was uninjured. Katharina then revealed to Lucy that she is also a witch. Now, the two girls write eachother regularly.
