Giving you the best of luck in your healing process Damion. You’ll pull through it eventually. Last year I broke my wrist and it took 3 months for it to heal.

So I had an extra bone since birth and 4 years ago getting ready for a date (in secret from my parents though I am adult but well... still) I twisted and hurt my left foot. After a week I went to the orthopedic doctor in my city and he said I had fractured my foot which had healed. And off and on it pained. And I would go and see him about it and get a bunch of meds including a pain killer.

So I had a lot of pain recently in Dec of last year and I went to him again. This time after seeing the x-ray he says you have an extra bone, did you have it in the first x-ray too. Mind you this is almost 4 years since I hurt myself. So I told him I didn't know about it as I didn't have the x-rays on me. Turned out he had the old x-rays and he looked at the first x-ray (that had happened a week after I had twisted my leg). And he says that you had an extra bone in that x-ray too. I was like he doesn't know what he is treating me for. He also said that surgery was a solution and he back tracked later. Then I went to Andaman's Port Blair for a vacation and after coming back I told my parents to change my orthopedic doctor.

So in March I started seeing a new orthopedic doctor for this. First thing he said was the past x-rays were not clear and he wanted a new one to see what the issue was. So we got that done and we went back ASAP. So he says that the condition I had was very rare. It was os vesalianum pedis. And the only thing that could be done about it was operate it. However, I had booked and planned a trip to the States in April so I had to wait for my trip to over before it could be done.

We came back in the end of June and my parents anniversary was on 3oth. So we went and talked to the surgeon after that and he said that only 0.0009% people's extra bone is very painful. And scheduled an operation on the 17th July. Once the operation was done, the surgeon informed me and my family that that extra bone had torn the tendon which is why it was very painful to walk.

So ever since 17th July I am on bed rest so I can't wait to walk around without the help of the walker.

lol Yesterday someone knocked on the door while I was cuddling Avalanche and when i opened it it was the paper girl, she was collecting so i went got the money and then handed her the rabbit by mistake. the poor girl looked so shocked, I just laughed and handed her the money. but that folks is why you don't open the door with a rabbit in your hands lmao
