History/Background: Terra Addams was born a female in Swansea, Wales to two Muggles by the names of Lassie Spirit and Suvo Addams. Lassie was a very practiced 35-year-old nurse who worked in the neonatal department at the nearest hospital. Suvo was a quiet yet stern special ed teacher and accountant. But Terra's life didn't start out all that great. They ended up being born premature themself, with the umbilical cord tied twice around their neck. This caused a lot of complications for Lassie, who ended up getting very sick and became hospitalized as a result. Lassie spent six months fighting illness and the aftermath of the botched birth and delivery before she finally succumbed to it all and passed away. Suvo decided to finally take Terra home from the neonatal section of the hospital and raise them along with working and taking care of his mom. This was not an easy feat, as Terra needed lots of attention. They had been born mentally defected, which could be seen from birth, yet the doctors couldn't diagnose anything just yet. Luckily, Terra was an only child, so they didn't have to worry about sharing any attention with siblings. From toddler years, Terra was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD, but it was also clear that they were especially bright. They could take basic care of themself from the age of three, making some of their own meals, getting up on their own, and finding ways to get to school on their own. Terra had been born with an IQ of 143, and this benefited them well while learning. Terra struggled to fit in and focus at Muggle school, but they definitely did like to learn while at school. That was their favorite part about going. They couldn't sit for long periods of time, and they had no friends. All the kids noticed that Terra was different and they alienated them. But any knowledge that Terra did gain stuck in their head like gum to the underside of a table. When Terra was five years old, their grandmother died, and then it was just them and their father. This actually proved an advantage because this allowed Suvo to spend more time with Terra. This was crucial because due to the bullying becoming more and more at school, Terra started to develop serious anxiety. They also felt the need to control everything in their life. Suvo spent more time so Terra could vent and have their temper tantrums go safely. Around the age of six, Terra's gender dysphoria started to kick in. They started to realize that they didn't exactly want to be considered their female. One day, Terra walked up to their father and asked why their were only two genders of male and female. Being the religious man that he was, Suvo responded by saying that God made the world like that. Then, Terra blurted out that they would rather be neither gender. This created a huge rift between them and their father, sadly. Suvo didn't understand his child's decision and reasoning. Overtime, Terra and Suvo started to drift apart. They lost that attention they needed and started to lash out verbally more often. One summer afternoon when Terra was eight years old, they were helping their father fix the roof of the house so that it didn't leak in the kitchen when it rained anymore. They decided to be a little adventurous and felt of the roof without hurting themself one bit. This was the first time that Terra used magic, and it freaked their family out. Terra got so upset by their family's reaction that they hastily put on their rollerblades and without looking, bladed right into the street. Unfortunately, a car was coming and didn't stop in time upon seeing Terra in the street. The car came crashing into Terra, sending them flying a few feet and breaking their back and upper right arm. Terra had to have surgery on both broken bones and scars were left behind. But this didn't change the fact that the family was still slightly scared of Terra's newfound abilities. As Terra started to display more signs of being able to do magic, Suvo thought it was best to pull them out of Muggle school and to homeschool them instead. Terra didn't completely mind, since everyone at school picked on them and it was a break. Around the age of ten, Terra started officially calling themself non-binary and going by the pronouns, they/them. And on their eleventh birthday, Terra and their dad were visited by a Hogwarts staff member who delivered Terra their Hogwarts acceptance letter in person and told Terra and Suvo all about the wonderful world of magic. Being religious, Suvo didn't want to believe any of it, but they soon realized everything about magic being real was true. The staff accompanied Terra to Diagon Alley to retrieve their school supplies, and oh what an experience that was. There were so many wands and robes and creatures and books and magic in the air. Terra absolutely loved the experience and told their dad all about it later that night. Finally, it came time for Terra to go to Hogwarts. They boarded the train after having loads of fun running through the wall to reach Platform 9 3/4. They waved goodbye to their dad and chose an empty compartment to sit and read some Percy Jackson. When they got to the school, Terra couldn't believe their eyes. The school was ancient and massive and beautiful, and Terra could stand around and look at the sight of it all day if they wanted to. All the students were led inside, but Terra had developed trust issues so they kept a distance from everyone. They admired the artwork and listened to the ground rules. Then, they listened to the Sorting Hat give a wonderful speech in song form, and they listened to the Sorting Hat place them in Ravenclaw. Terra couldn't wait to see what the rest of the year held in store for them.

First Instance of Magic: The first time Terra used magic was actually right before their accident. Terra was on the roof of their house helping their dad fix some loose panels that were causing an allowance of water leakage in the house and rot on the ceiling. So, Terra's dad had to fix that immediately. Terra kept running around all hyper on the roof, getting tools and equipment for their dad and occasionally playing dangerously close to the edge. Suddenly, Terra fell backwards and was falling upside down, about to land on their head, when suddenly they found themself sitting upright, unscathed in the grass. No one understood what has happened, but it was the first time Terra used magic, and it was to save themself from death. Terra was ecstatic to learn that they could do something unusual and cool, even though they didn't know what it was exactly. Terra had fallen from a three-story-high roof upside down, and they managed to land sitting up in the grass with no injuries or pain or cuts and bruises. It wasn't until the second time Terra accidentally used magic that the family knew something was up. Terra overheard their cousins talking trash about them and they got so angry that they unconsciously caused the lights to flicker off for a moment and broke the glass cup in their oldest cousin's hand, and the broken glass cut their cousin. All anyone could remember was Terra's seething eyes on their cousin when it happened, and that's when they all started to notice that Terra could do magic. Terra's family was scared because this was a foreign concept to them, the concept of being able to do magic, but Terra was excited to finally be able to do something personalized to them. Terra finally felt a little bit special.


Terra is a slight tall non-binary person with female parts, having been born a female. Terra has thick and fluffy boy short hair dyed blue with bangs dyed yellow, and Terra has light brown eyes and pale white skin. Terra has one long.scar across the middle of their back and another long scar along the back of their upper right ATM. When Terra was eight years old, they got hit by a car and broke their back and upper right arm, resulting in surgery on both, which left scars. Being a Muggleborn, Terra didn't know of anything to get rid of the scars. Terra has two piercings on the bottom of both ear lobes, normally a stud next two a ring. Terra has a vertical eyebrow piercing on their left eyebrow, a stud nose piercing on the right side of their noise, and a mouth ring piercing on through middle of their lip. Terra also has a belly button piercing. Terra is a fashionista. They like to wear button-down crop tops and short shorts along with high weeks or flip flops or sneakers. Terra also likes to wear a leather jacket sometimes, or a sweatshirt that says, "Gender Kills My Vibe," in non-binary flag colors.


Terra suffers from mental issues, including ADHD, autism, gender dysphoria, and anxiety. However, Terra is a lively, social, spirited person who loves everything and everyone but is very guarded and struggled to trust others. They work hard to combat their mental illness daily. Terra is extremely creative and intelligent and wise and hardworking. Terra lives to learn new things, and is very perceptive, intuitive, insightful, and always searching for deeper meanings and truth to everything. Terra does struggle to understand social cues, sit still and focus, and accept change in their life. Terra's mood can change in a heartbeat, and they struggle with letting go and moving on. Finally, Terra is a perfectionist in their thoughts and actions, and they always get frustrated when they can't understand something or get something right. Currently, Terra is in therapy to work on their mental issues.
