Ember quickly thrust out one hand and picked up the frog that had already leaped out of her pocket and seemed to be trying to escape along the corridor. The young Ravenclaw frowned at the smears of melted chocolate in her palm; some of them looking like tiny footprints; then, after quickly ensuring that nobody else was paying any attention to her, licked them off her skin.
The chocolate frog was struggling to flee from her other hand. Ember grinned at it, admiring the small limbs out of darkest, finest chocolate. There were some things she absolutely loved in the wizarding world, and those… lively sweets definitely belonged to that group. She even felt a pang of guilt because of her plan to eat it, as every time when she did, but then, she reassured herself, if she wouldn’t, the frog would melt after some time and “die” either way. The only difference was if she got to eat the tasty
sweet or not.
She lifted the brown, struggling creature up to her mouth, then gave it a quick lick. The chocolate was exactly as it should be – bitter and sweet at the same time, a taste Ember utterly adored. She giggled as she saw the frog’s adorable face scrunch up into a disgusted expression, something that looked quite awkward and misplaced on a chocolate animal.
Ember was just about to finally eat it when, due to the melted top layers making her hand slippery, it leaped onto the ground and quickly fled, determined to not meet its fate in a young student’s stomach. She gave a small cry of surprise before hurtling after the chocolate frog, worry in her eyes. There were a few other students milling around; not that many in this section of the castle, but Ember didn’t want to take any chances on her precious sweet, pet or whatever it was to get trampled on. “Hey there! Come back!”, she yelled, however, the frog didn’t seem to be capable of the English language.

Don't you dare mess with me!

Aurelia could afford to take her time along the corridors on a tight schedule. Almost everywhere she went, the girl could be seen buzzing around the halls of Hogwarts always busy. Lunch was barely squeezed into her list of to-dos and the great hall was where the girl could be seen heading to at the moment. Usually for Aurelia, 10 minutes was reserved for Lunch and no more and from the potions classroom to the Great Hall was a fairly large distance to make.

Like always, Aurelia preferred to use the less trafficked corridors where there weren’t any students squeezing though both left and right. It was down the muggle studies classroom. As she was hurrying across the corridor, at the corner of her eye she spotted a small dark brown object that was approaching her at an extremely fast pace.

Aurelia disliked chocolate frogs as much as she abhorred fire. The creatures were disgustingly brown and left ugly smears on garments that was almost impossible to wash off. Now this creature was making its way towards Aurelia. This was going to take much of her time.

The girl hopped up the step of one of the pillars, but as soon as she did, the frog jumped on her ankle leaving a dark brown mark on her jeans. Aurelia kicked her leg attempting to shake it off and it had eventually did.

Out of frustration, the twelve year old Gryffindor pulled out her wand and aimed it at the frog. “Diffindo,” she muttered under her breath. The frog was much of a nuisance as it continue jumping around refusing to be hit. “Diffindo,” Aurelia tried again. Missed.
