Madison giggled and smiled at Hannah "They're ok, not like wow but I've made some new friends so that's made it worth coming to in my eyes. Though if my mother would stop nagging me to dance again, it would make the night even better" Madison said as she rolled her eyes and then giggled with Hannah.
"Honestly I get what you mean. My mother made me take ballroom dance classes when I was younger, though the only time i enjoyed dancing was when i'd stand on my dads feet and he'd hold my hands as he danced with me" Madison said with a smile. As she looked around and stayed with Hannah, Madison began to realise just how boring this part of a ball is. All the band seemed to play was slow music, not surprising since it was a ball hosted by a very well off Pure Blood family, Madison just sat down with Hannah and talked about school, future aspirations etc.
"So, do you have anything in particular that you want to do once we leave Hogwarts Hannah?" Madison asked, she knew the top two things she wanted to do, however she also wanted to keep her options open, though she hadn't told her parents that yet. Her older brother James, knew what he wanted to do, Madison wasn't clueless about what she wanted to do by any means, though she was torn.

.As the song ended, Odi couldn't help but feel that he had schooled Madison at the tango- though admittedly that was partly due to his own self-indulgence in picking a song. "Thank you again for the dance" She had said politely when the song was over. "I enjoyed it, the tango was fun, though I think I prefer the waltz if I'm honest." Odi had been just about to reply when he heard another voice cut through the noise of the party's festivities.
"Why did you drag me here just to leave me while you invited some random guest to dance?" Odi whipped his head round to see Castle, red-faced and breathless, staring crossly at him. Odi gave an impish half-smirk and held up his hands in a teasing surrender gesture.
"My bad, I just thought you could do with loosening up a bit Castle. And she's not random, she's-" He looked back at Madison, but she had absconded with her friend already. Odi sighed.
"If this is your idea of fun." Maverick said, his green eyes still blazing in indignation, "I don't like it at all."
"Lighten up! Odi teased, clapping one hand on Castle's shoulder and using the other to gesture to the ballroom. "It's a party. How often do we get to let loose?" Something in Odi's tone indicated to Maverick that the 'we' in that sentence was not referring to their status as Gryffindors.

At Odilon's mention of his name, Maverick arched an eyebrow. "Oooh, so I'm back to Castle for you, heh?" he said in a rather disappointed tone, though not with a touch of anger and of sadness, all three at the same time.
Odi was one of the few people he had allowed to address him as Maverick, but just now the fellow Gryffindor let 'Castle' out of his mouth, like when they had just met and like most of the other students out there, whom Maverick were not close with. If he remembered correctly, he had mentioned this preference and request to Odi some time ago; and, for goodness sake, he did hope the other preteen remembered this.
Odilon continued to speak, trying to tell the part-Veela that the person he had invited earlier was no random, but for some reasons he did not finish his sentence. All the while, Maverick continued verbally attacking the boy who was supposed to be his closest friend at Hogwarts. "She's what? I sincerely hope you two are unrelated. Don't you realise how bad her hair is? And how inappropriate her dress is? Or if you two are, she can do with some suggestions from you. She deserves it!"
Really, it did not seem surprising the two Gryffindors were good friends. Whereas Maverick was on hot coals, Odilon was as cool as cucumber - other people may have left him with either a confused or disgusted look, or worse they could have fought him the minute he started criticising some uninvolved party harshly. The green-eyed boy should have realised how lucky he was, but he did not, he was just full of anger at the moment.
Fortunately, in contrast, Odi did not seem to lose his temper at all. The second year simply motioned at the room and remarked that they ought to have fun since they did not get such chance often, and his calm approach of the situation slightly helped Maverick. "I guess I'd dance if someone attractive enough asks me to," he muttered, half to himself and half to the cool person standing just beside him.

In this room there were not so much guys. There was Hannah talking to same girl Linda saw her before. Then she heard a song she didn't hear before. What is this song? Did you hear it before? Siralb shaked his head as saying no. It was something new, unknown. But it didn't sound bad, only something Linda didn't get used to.
She was standing holding herself graciously as she was supposed to according to status of her family. Her brother didn't say it, but Linda knew she was supposed to dance only if someone would ask her. This ball was stopping her from going back to vacation in Greece with her friend. And coming back from her thoughts she heard her brother asking Li about Greece. It was really good. We celebrated her birthday and then enjoyed our time. And today you know, we came to this ball. Though I think tomorrow we will be back in Greece. We still have time. She already missed it and wanted to go back. But first she had to wait.
