Date: 15th Oct '22
Damion had been in a sort of rush to get to his class. He had sort of dozed off in the Study Hall. It was a warm afternoon and he was feeling sleepy. And well he had not heard the bell ring, till someone rushed past him almost knocking him off his chair. He woke up with a startle. Groggily he looked at the wall clock on the wall near him. He was shocked to see the time. Wow he had slept through the free period he had and more. He was about fifteen minutes too late for his class. Oh boy! He was in trouble.
Well he was forgetting the part about it being a Saturday! Well in rush to get up and get going to the class that he thought he was getting late for, and actually he was just rushing out of there to go nowhere. He was so scared that he was getting late that he was not paying much attention to where he was headed. He was no longer walking briskly but he was sort of jogging, and running out of the Study Hall into the corridor. Oh boy! The professor would kill him for being late or well transform him into something... scary.... Damion had walked into the corridor and was blazing past doors without seeing who or what was there.

“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.”

@Damion WhiteIt was Saturday, and she was heading down to the library to check out some books for her homework, as well as return the ones she already had. The homework was due on Monday, but she wanted to get a start on it so she would have the entire day to sneak into the forbidden forest tomorrow. She had recently found a way in and a disguise. Now all she needed was someone to go with…
She walked slowly, checking around the corners to make sure no one was there. She had made that mistake once already, and was determined not to let it happen again. She was carrying a few books back to the library, along with some parchment with the scribbling of her homework. The books were quite heavy, and Ava had to lean up against the wall to not collapse. Suddenly, a kid smacked right into her and knocked everything out of her arms. At least this time she had a right to be angry.
“Hey!” She cried out, wobbling precariously before straightening herself. “Haven’t you ever thought to watch where you’re going?”
Ava bent down to pick up the books and her homework, and the boy helped her.
“Where are you even going in such a hurry?”

Damion was not paying much attention to what day it was. He was a little taken aback when he opened his eyes to look at the clock on the wall. Shit! Damn! He was late for his class. Though he had no classes scheduled today, as it was a Saturday. But with his hazy mind, he didn’t remember that it was a Saturday and he was not going to be in trouble with any professor for getting late for the class. He picked up his stuff and rushed out of the room he had been sleeping in to the corridors. He was rushing to get to his class that was not happening.
Damion had not seen who he was walking into. He was in so much rush. He sighed as he bumped into someone and saw the books and everything that person was carrying fall on the ground. Damn this is gonna make him more late now isn’t it. "Can’t someone be in a hurry to get somewhere and miss to see someone around?" He said looking at the younger girl who he had bumped into. "If you had some decency you would have seen where you were going and wouldn’t have bumped into me and disgraced the books you are carrying. " Damion said looking at her. He did bend down and picked up the books despite not wanting to do anything to help her out he was not going to let the books be on the ground. He liked reading and thought that the books should be respected. "If you knew what time it was, you would also be in a rush to get to your next class. Where does one go missy?" Damion asked looking at her.

The kid looked like one of the older students, and Ava prepared herself for the battle this would be. He probably thought he was bigger, better, etc, etc, etc. Bet he thinks he rules the school too, she added with an eye roll. "Can’t someone be in a hurry to get somewhere and miss to see someone around?" “No,” she muttered under her breath as she clenched her fists together. These halls seemed to be perfectly shaped so that you could see nothing coming from around the corner. As if this castle wasn’t confusing enough. "If you had some decency you would have seen where you were going and wouldn’t have bumped into me and disgraced the books you are carrying." I had to bite my lip to stop from busting out into laughter. I opened my mouth to speak but all that came out was a fit of giggles. When they passed over I wiped a few fake tears from my eyes. “Unfortunately for you I was taking a rest against the wall so I wouldn’t” I cleared my throat mockingly and lowered my voices pitch a few tones, and with a bust of effort even shortened my hair to his hair length. My talent could be very helpful sometimes. “disgrace the books I was carrying.” I bit my lip to stop from bursting into giggles again. "If you knew what time it was, you would also be in a rush to get to your next class. Where does one go missy?" I doubled over laughing this time, feeling smart while he was stupid. I was in control at the moment. “Oh, I didn’t even see the time!” I pretended to faint but at the last second straightened up and wailed “I’m going to be late for class! The class for losers!” The only reason you would be going to class would be because you got a detention. The only reason you would get a detention was because you got caught. I shook my head sadly. “What rule’d ya break?” I asked, a smile tugging at my lips.

Damion was getting late as he had sort of dozed off in the Study hall. Something that he rarely did. He was very much alert of the things that he had to do. He didn’t let his guard down when he had to get somewhere on time. But today he had let himself sleep or well nap till minutes before he had to be up for his class. He looked at the clock there and jumped to action. He sighed softly as he bumped into someone. He was not paying attention to where he was going. Damn. Damion should have looked where he was going to be honest. He frowned at the little girl who said no to his comment about can’t someone be in a hurry to get somewhere and miss to see someone around. "Wasn’t that blunt little girl?" Damion said. "Unlike you, I really like to get to my classes on time. You may enjoy detention but I don’t." Damion said. He had never been in a detention ever. He had to keep that up. He didn’t want to have a tarnish of detention on his record. "Yeah you disgraced the books you were carrying." Damion said looking at her well more like glaring at her. "That is very careless of you little girl." He said looking at her. He didn’t want to stop glaring at her. "Unlike you little girl, I intend to be on time for my class. Ooh so you’re going to the class for losers how exciting. " Damion mocked her. He glared at her and said "Who said anything about breaking a rule?" He said looking at her. He had not said anything about any rules that he might have broken. He was in a rush yes, because he was getting late for his class. But he didn’t want to be late for any class and end up in detention. Detention was something that Damion dreaded well sort of. He didn’t know what happened in them but he didn’t want to figure that out.

"Little girl?" She said incredulously, repeating what he had called her. "Well if I’m a little girl, you’re an old man." She had a smug expression on her face, and no one could deny that she had made a good comeback. Well…not really. Ava thought it was good but in truth, it was a mediocre comment.
He made another comment about classes, and she burst out laughing. "Okay, you go enjoy your classes." He still hadn’t figured out that it was a weekend, and that there wasn’t a single class on the schedule. "Lucky for me, I don’t have any classes or detentions today."
Ava realized he was still ranting about the books. "Correction. You disgraced the books I was carrying." She smirked at him, knowing that she was annoying him greatly. Oh well, what was he going to do. Bring her to class with him? "Oh so careless, was it. Just like how carelessly you rammed into me?" She rolled her eyes at Damion’s attempt at mocking her. "Call me little girl one more time. I dare you!" She glared at him, willing him to say it again. It would be met with a punch in the gut or the jaw, she was still deciding.

"What do you expect me to call you? You are a little girl!" He said with a smug look on his face. He was not going back off from calling her little girl since she acted like that. "Grrr… No I am not an old man. Just because I am older than you, doesn’t mean you get to call me an old man, little girl." He said looking at her with a frown on his face. He was not happy with the nickname that Ava had come up for him.
Damion was not sure what day of the week it was. He should have known what day it was. But well when he napped and was late everything seemed to turn into a mush. "You are being sarcastic. Why?" He deduced that she was being sarcastic. "Oh what’s so special today that you have no classes or detention. Did you end up buying a day off or something?" He laughed at the joke about buying a day off.
"Oh please. You are the one who bumped into me. So it is you who disgraced the books." He said. He was going it put the blame of what happened on Ava. "If you had been careful you would not have bumped into me alright? So it’s not me who was careless little girl, it was you. So lost in your own thoughts that you seem to lose the grip of reality. " Damion said being as mean as he could be. He knew the words that he was saying was not pretty. But he didn’t care to be honest. "What will you do if I called you little girl?" He said glaring at her. "Little girl. Little girl." He said in a sing song tone and in a teasing voice.

Ava shrugged. "I feel like my name, Ava, would be just fine." She peered at him and added for an extra jab. "It shouldn’t be difficult, even for you."
"If I am a little girl, you are a old man." She sighed, as if explaining the obvious. Really, this entire conversation had been a show with little meaning behind each word, and no purpose other than to upset the other. "Just because I am younger than you doesn’t mean you get to call me a little girl, old man." She retorted haughtily, twisting his own words against him with a smirk. She could tell she had hit a nerve with the nickname, so the nickname would be going nowhere.
She began clapping her hands, very slowly, to reward his wits. Really, it was so difficult to know when someone was being sarcastic. "Good job, old man. I was wondering if that brain of yours actually works." Before he could respond to that, she decided to reveal the obvious. She leaned in closer to him, as if she was revealing such a large secret that it could only be kept between the two of them. "It’s so special today because," she said, sucking in a breath to leave a moment of suspense, "it’s a Saturday." She leaned back, laughing quietly at his stupidity. Really, who wasn’t counting the days down until the weekend? A ravenclaw, she oughtn’t be surprised.
Ava eyed him but tried to keep her cool and calculating manner. With her hair back to normal length, it rippled with red undertones, the only thing giving away her anger. "It. Was. Your. Fault." She seethed, and that was all she would say on that matter. She glanced down at the books, scanning the spines. "Where did my potions book go?" She eyed him suspiciously. "You are a thief." She said, although she had no proof. "A thief and a liar. Such a terrible combination."
The teasing was her last nerve. Her hair was angry red, and she set the books down on the ground and turned around. She breathed in deeply, once, twice. Then she spun around with her fist outstretched and attempted to punch him.

Damion scoffed hearing what Ava was saying and smirked. "But I feel that Little Girl has a good ring to it." He sneered at her. "Well it’s not difficult except calling you Little Girl makes me happy and you not so much…" He smirked.
Damion was furious now. He didn’t like the Old Man nickname. He didn’t mind calling someone little girl but he didn’t want to be called an old man. Oh boy! Payback was a… well not so good. "So original, Little Girl." He tried to ignore how he was feeling about the situation to be honest. He rolled his eyes as he heard what she said. "That works both side Little Girl. If you don’t want me to call you, Little Girl you will have to stop calling me Old Man. " He said trying to make her stop calling him old Man.
Damion was angry at how she was acting and couldn’t stop himself when an agitated groan escaped his mouth. He looked at her and rolled his eyes. "Oh come on I am much more intelligent than you Little Girl." He said sorta loudly. He looked at her as she leaned in closer. Oh what was such a great secret that she was trying to share. He let out a angered sigh and groan. It was a Saturday. "Well… then explain why are you in such a hurry. We don’t have classes and I doubt you have any friends. Who’d be friend with an annoying person like you."
Damion didn’t budge as he noticed that her demeanor changed. He was not going to let her know that she was scaring him- which she was not. He rolled his eyes again. "It’s not my fault. It’s yours." He said admittedly. He shrugged at her question. "You can’t keep track of your books and your stuff. And you have the nerve to blame me for it." he said noticing that his fingers were clutched into a fist. He was so angry. "I am not a thief or a liar." He said angered. He was not sure what he was going to do about the blames that Ava was putting on him.
Damion was not that fast as he felt the punch that Ava had thrown at him. He stumbled but didn’t fall down. "LITTLE GIRL" He said really angrily. He was not going to hurt her but she had the nerve to hurt him.
