Damn those pranksters. It all had went so fast. When he heard the incantation from the passing girls, he instantly recognized it. The next second he had been knocked back, as if an immense invisible force had pushed him backwards. When he landed (a good couple of feet away) he felt a shooting pain in his ankle and made a somersault backwards before landing flat in the grass. And he had lost his wand in the fall. Once again, he had found himself in a humiliating situation. Next, one of the girls picked up his wand and tossed it up on the roof of the extension on the castle wall beside them.
The girls ran away, giggling, before they disappeared around a corner on the other side of the lawn. It was a long way to the closest door. His elbows was hurting and his ankle even more so, but he managed to get up on his feet again. However, he could not support his leg. Getting back inside the castle would be an exhaustive quest. And how to get his wand down? A familiar screech was heard from above. He looked up only to see a shadow in front of the sun closing in on him.
"Hoax!" he exclaimed and held out his arm for his owl to land, but when Hoax did, Simon lost his balance and fell to the ground again. Hoax flapped with his wings and landed beside him instead. He looked at him as if he was trying to figure out what was wrong with him. "I've been jinxed and I believe I twisted my ankle." Simon explained.
Hoax tilted his head and screeched.
"I can barely move. You understand? I'm hurt." He was not sure how much Hoax understood. After all, owls were supposed to understand English and communicate with wizards and witches, but Hoax was raised in South America. Simon figured he was more intuitive, perceiving Simon's feelings and calculating his actions and needs based on facial and emotional cues rather than his spoken words. "Can you get my wand down for me? The wand? It's up there. On the roof. No, up there." Simon pointed, but it seemed hopeless. "Okay. I think I would need some help, Hoax. Do you get me? Help. See if you can find Irina, Madi, or anyone."
Hoax chirped and took off. He could only hope that Hoax would return with someone who could get his wand down for him and give him some support on his way to the Hospital Wing. Hopefully a good climber, since it was a bit of a climb to the roof.
OOC Note: Zach has consent to godmod Hoax in order to get to Simon

Zach really needed a calm and quiet place to relax. Therefore, he often visited The Great Lake, the only place to get the calm atmosphere he needed. The cool autumn breeze and the sound of splashing water really calmed his mind. After spending quite a while and getting enough peace there, Zach decided to head back. From the south, he walked leisurely towards the north, towards the Hogwarts castle.
During his walks, he wondered about the dinner later. Would the house elves also make silky puddings? He wished he could have a silky pudding for dinner tonight. But halfway through, his eyes caught something. A brownish-red feathered owl with round amber eyes perched on the branch of an oak tree. The owl seemed to look at him. Zach somehow felt compelled to approach the owl. "Hello little friend. Are you out hunting?" Zach asked the owl. But the owl just tilted its head, then flew somewhere. Again, Zach followed the direction of the owl's flight with curiosity.
He continued to follow the owl until from a distance he saw someone he knew lying on the ground. "S-Simon?" Zach said, making sure that the boy he saw was really someone he knew. "Oh my goodness, it's really him!" he said to himself. He immediately ran towards the boy and knelt beside him, "Simon? How did you fall to the ground?" he asked with a worried tone.

But it was not Irina or Madi that arrived. And certainly not someone with a passion for climbing either. It was Zach, that nice but slightly insecure boy in his house whom he shared his bunkbed with. The night they arrived at Hogwarts, he had first met Zach in their dormitory where he had explicitly asked to get the lower bed because he was afraid of heights. Brilliant...
"Oh, hi, Zach," said Simon, sitting awkwardly in the grass. "Well, a bunch of girls used 'Flipendo' on me and I must've twisted my ankle in the fall. It was a good thing Hoax arrived. And you. I guess I'm gonna need som help to get to the Hospital Wing." Simon held out his hand to his friend. "Could you help me up, please? I can't really support my leg because of the shooting pain."
Once he was back up on his feet, he tried to limp forward a couple of steps, keeping his arms out for balance. Each time he put his foot to the ground, he winced.
"Nope. This is not gonna work," he said. "And there's one more thing. One of the girls tossed my wand up there." He pointed to the extension on the castle wall. "Could you... do you think you could get it down for me? It's just up on that roof."
Sure, it was high, but not that high, and it seemed to be a perfect wall for climbing with lots of uneven rocks that stood out from the wall. He would have done it himself if he could but since he was hurt and did not want to leave without his precious wand, he really needed Zach's help.

Zach listened to Simon and couldn't help but be angry at whoever did it to him. "What is their problem?" he thought. He still listened to Simon and agreed to help him stand up. "I will support you," he said. But it failed miserably. Every time they took a step, they lose their balance. If only Zach was stronger or perhaps bigger, they might have already been inside the castle and could seek help quickly without being worried of getting a detention.
"I'm sorry, Simon," he said, still trying to support the dark brown-haired boy. But there's more than just casting him a Flipendo. Further, Zach just knew that they also tossed Simon's wand on the castle's roof. Zach sighed really hard and said, "Really. What is their problem so they have to toss it up there?" Zach thought that it was a really horrible attitude of them. But later, Zach became more shocked. "Do you mean me? Up there?" His lips turned pale like all the blood had been sucked somewhere unknown.
Zach once again looked at the roof. The sky behind them also started to turn more orange and purple. A really bad time that added to Zach's anxiety. They have to come back to the castle. He couldn't think clearly as he became more panicky. "O-okay. Uh... I will try to get it. I don't really have a clear vision so I'll need your assistance," Zach said. He could feel his hands becoming more cold, whether it was because of the weather that day or his fear. Zach helped Simon lay in a comfortable position first and then left him. He was now standing in front of the castle wall, preparing himself mentally to climb.

Simon gladly accepted Zach's assistance but it was hard for Zach to be of any use. Not so much because of lack of strength or finesse as of Simon's poor ability to support himself. Not even using Zach's shoulder for support made it any easier to put his foot into the ground.
"Don't be sorry," Simon said. "I can jump on my one leg, if you just help me keep my balance."
When Zach looked to the roof where his wand currently was, Zach seemed genuinely annoyed and angry with Simon's archenemies that seemed to be lurking about in his surroundings whenever he was alone and defenceless. Simon was quite tired of them too.
"Yeah, that's what I'm telling you! And it's not like you would wanna report it to Professor Iwasaki or someone, because it's word against word. And besides, you don't wanna make enemies already as a first year. But it's like they think they can mess around with us all they want..."
Zach seemed to have become a little pale. It was clear that his fear of heights had kicked in.
"Yeah, up there," Simon said. "I'm sure it's not as high as it looks, Zach. I'm sure you can do it." He sighed. "Look, I realize we can always head back to the castle and have somebody else get it down for me, but... I've never been away from my wand since I bought it. And what if a crow or something snatches it and use it to build a nest in some distant tree? Then I'll never see it again."
With some hesitation, Zach seemed to be willing to try and help him. Simon was quite surprised. He had almost expected Zach to decline or refuse, but hearing that his friend was prepared to challenge his own fears in order to help him was both relieving and impressive. Perhaps there was more to Zach than reached the eye.
"Sure, I'll guide you. Yes, that seems to be a good place to start. You're in the right spot. From there you should start climbing to the left. There seems to be a nice and big rock there that you can grab," said Simon as he tried to assist him.

Zach was now standing in front of the wall. A. High. Wall. He looked up to see how tall it was and regretted doing that. What would he expect? The wall became lower? It wouldn't! So Zach took a deep breath, preparing himself for the umpteenth time. "Let's do it," he said.
Zach dried up his hand with his robe and began to climb. His right hand grabbed a stone and his left hand also followed to grab one. His feet followed and he climbed bit by bit. He moved his direction to the left and finally could grab some nice stones. From there, he climbed up and up. His skin could feel the cold Autumn breeze when he was halfway. But it didn't bother him as his brain ordered him to be more focused on climbing so he wouldn't fall miserably. From there you should start climbing to the left. There seems to be a nice and big rock there that you can grab,
He finally reached the first ledge where he could place his feet. His heart was beating fast from the adrenaline rush. His hands were becoming shakier. Zach decided to kneel, thinking it would be a safer way to steady himself. Looking at the ground would be a very bad idea so he just shouted to ask where Simon's wand was. "Where's your wand? Should I climb again?" He just hoped the wand was already around him so he wouldn't have to climb up again.
