It has come to my attention that we are to be quill palls, how exciting! I have been so looking forward to meeting new people here at Hogwarts, and I'm sure you feel ever so lucky to have the honour of knowing me.
Well, what can I say about myself that you shouldn't already know? Hm, I'm at a loss for words! However, just in case you don't know who I am, and if you don't I may very well be a tad bit ashamed, I am Twyla Whittaker-Flores, only daughter of Theo Flores and Melissa Whittaker. You should already know who they are, so I'll give you a moment for your gasps and wows. What else about me? Oh, I'm pretty, I'm smart, I'm lovely and even the Muggle, Wizarding AND Theatre worlds love me! You must've seen me in something.
Ah, but enough about me, what about you? What do you get up to? Do you live such a life that I do, or are you just a bit boring? Oh, are you a first year like me too? I don't recall your name being read out at the Sorting Ceremony, so you must be an elder student! I'm sure you aren't a significant one.
It's been such a pleasure writing this little first letter to you, and I can't wait until you write back. Well, I can, since I'm ever so busy.
