Puffie made a face at bailey, and she smiled. It was like he was upset that she had forgotten him - but she hadn't done it on purpose. He was defiantly sulking now, and bailey just had to fix that. Bailey cooed softly at the little puffball, saying "awww don't be upset, you know i didn't mean it - how could anyone forget about such a cute little guy like you!!!"
Bailey picked up the little puffball, stroking his head softly. She would continue to cuddle the little puffball until a. kim left or b. he seemed content enough that she could set him down and eat her coco froggy.
Kim asked how she knew he was a prankster, and bailey was not too sure how much she wanted to share. Unknown by most people, bailey was much more than a social and happy blond. She was quite smart, and quite observant. Bailey saw many things that others missed, partially due to her martial arts training which taught her to observe the little details, and the big things, and everything in between.
"well...." bailey started, before taking a breath and continuing. "you, out of everyone that was in that prank club, the one that snuck us into Hogsmead - you seemed the most interested and devoted to the prank. Plus....." bailey took another breath, debating if she should continue. Deciding that Kim was the one person she would tell this too, she continued "plus i see you and Puffie sneaking around occasionally, sometimes with another known prankster.... even if you aren't pranking someone, you seem like you're plotting something."
Bailey looked up at kim, and momentarily paused her petting of Puffie to gague how well she had hit the question on the nail.

But was mollified that she was at least trying to make it up to him! Still, he couldn't give in instantly! Kim watched the two for a few seconds. He couldn't help but wonder what it would have been like if Bailey had possessed a pygmy puff too, either color would have worked. If she had, it would have been destiny for them to be together, as not only would they have been in the same clubs and circle of 'friends', but they would have had the same type of pet too. How could it not have been destiny? Fortunately, they were different, and Bailey had the type of pet Kim tended to stay away from. So really, they were not meant to be... But that didn't mean they couldn't be friends. After all, Bailey could always leave her cat behind when she came to see him. Thus, Kim had no problem seeing her around all the time. As long as the feline wasn't there, he wouldn't go out of his way to avoid her. As Bailey continued to try and make it up to Puffie, the pink puffball eventually decided to forgive her, as she was doing a good job at petting him. Kim raised a brow at Bailey's words about the prank they'd done at Hogsmeade. "I'm sure there were others just like me!" He wasn't the only prankster around! "Sia? We're usually just sharing our love for sweets and chocolate in general." "We also talk about the latest gossip at Hogwarts..." Kim told her. "Kind of like you and me." He added and smirked at the girl by his side. "Going by your earlier words, we'd both be considered pranksters because of this." Kim said, letting his blue eyes flicker over her for a moment. "Then again, you could make quite an attractive prankster! If you had the right clothes and hairstyle." The orangehead mused, thinking about outfits/hairstyles Bailey could wear to achieve this cool look in his mind. The last time he'd checked the status of the task for the Hexwizard Tournament, things were still going pretty well for Hogwarts. They still had 2 knights, 2 bishops, 1 rook and their queen and king standing out on the board. On the other hand, the opposing team only had 1 bishop, 1 rook and their king remaining, which didn't look good for them. It would take a miracle for them to win over Hogwarts. As of right now, it was pretty obvious that Hogwarts would take the win for this task. Unless something unexpected happened soon. |

Puffie huffed at her, and bailey sighed back. "i wasn't ignoring you intentionally -" she said, hoping that he'd forget his irritation as she scratched at his head. Bailey honestly adored the little puffball, and would be just as devastated when he passed as kim would be.
Bailey was glad that puffie was around, as he seemed to keep kim company when he wouldn't allow bailey to.
Puffie eventually decided to forgive bailey, and she smiled as the little guy before glancing up at kim, who raised an eyebrow at her. She raised one back, and asked "are there?"
She let the silence remain for a moment, before laughing and saying "if you say so..."
she raised her eyebrow again when kim mentioned sia. "i didn't know chocolates and sweets and your guys love of them meant sneaking around, and chaos."
She shrugged, and looked down at puffie. "what do you think of this situation?" she cooed at the little guy, smiling at his bright and happy color of his fur.
Kim smirked at bailey, at the mention of the two of them and gossip, and she couldn't hold back her eye roll. "you mean the rumors that we're dating..? or other rumors..? come on kim,, spill the tea!!!"
Bailey blushed the tiniest bit as she watched kim's eyes flicker over her, and that blush deepened when he mentioned her and attractive. Her smile did drop a bit with the mentioned of being a prankster.
"kim, i could never!! that comes with the risk of detention... which is practically worse than death!!" Bailey said, and shuddered at the thought of getting a detention.
"Wait - do you not like my style?" bailey asked, glancing down at her clothes. They were comfortable, and fashionable in her eyes. "what would you need to dress me in, and what would you do to my hair, to be able to see me as attractive?"
Bailey was just harmlessly digging now, as she honestly really didn't like kim like that... right? she thought, before shoving that thought into a deep dark corner of her mind that she would not open again until a random study date.. with a Slytherin.

Bailey's words about him being the most into the Hogsmeade prank made him scoff a little at the idea. When she expressed doubt over whether there were lots of other people just like him, Kim raised a brow. "Of course! You can only be a member of the Mischief Makers if you're devoted to pranks!" "I mean you're the exception. But most of the members are fully committed and passionate about doing them! Even Monica was doing pretty well in that regard, and she recently became a prefect too. That's saying something, you know. Being a prefect and intentionally breaking the rules, knowing you could get caught by doing so... She should have been in Gryffindor for being so brave." He said with a smirk and raised a brow at Bailey's next words about Sia. "They don't! That's what I'm telling you, Sia and I are only chatting about sweets and chocolates. Not about pranks. You're the one getting the wrong idea about us!" Kim told her with a shake of his head. Puffie almost chirped at her as Bailey looked down at him and tried to push up against her hand, wanting to be pet more. "Yeah, the dating rumors." Kim said and raised a brow when Bailey resisted the idea of being a prankster herself. That made him almost grin at her, was that a challenge? How intriguing. "You only feel that way because you've never tried it before!" He told her with a shake of his head. Kim decided he'd take her up on this challenge. He'd make a prankster of her yet, one of these days. "I'll make you into a great prankster in the future." The orange haired teen said with a twitch of his lips. It would be a lot of fun getting her to that particular point in time. When Bailey asked about her style, Kim let his blue eyes flicker over her choice of clothes. "It's alright. But I could definitely make you look way better." Kim told her and smirked when she asked him for advice on how to become attractive to him. "Won't tell you. Not until you agree to become a prankster like me! I mean, like all of us are in the Mischief Makers. You are a member you know, which means you need to participate in some pranks yourself at some point in time. And yes, it'll be against the rules, that's the whole point of being a prankster." Kim told her with a smirk. He quickly glanced over at the last match still going on to make sure he hadn't missed anything and then returned his attention to Bailey once more.... By this time it was obvious, Hogwarts would win this match. How could they lose at this point in time? |

Bailey raised her eye brow at Kim when he said they people had to be truly devoted to pranking to be part of the Mischief makers club, knowing that there was at least one exception- her.
Kim realized this, and justified his answer.
“ok you have a fair point, especially about Monica, but still- I doubt anyone is as devoted as you are.”
Bailey smiled at Kim here, knowing that pea king was something that actually brought Kim some joy, and that in turn made her happy.
Bailey raised her brow again, knowing that Elysian and Kim’s conversation’s definitely had more to do with pranking than they did with food, but they probably also did talk about food. Bailey knew Kim, and knew he loved food, much as she did, so it was quite likely that food made an appearance in their conversation.
They kept chatting, and Kim tried to convince her that she only disliked pranking because she had never done it before. Bailey rolled her eyes at him again and said “I doubt that is why. I just don’t want to get in trouble… I want to make it all the way through Hogwarts without a detention- and if I start prancing people, then my chances of getting a detention go up.”
Bailey sighed with exasperation when Kim said he’d make her a great prankster, knowing that if anyone could do that it would be him.
Smiling softly she said “good luck with that- good luck.”
Bailey glanced down at her clothes as Kim did. He said that her style was alright, which was honestly a complement coming from Kim. They did have different tastes and senses of style, but Bailey found herself agreeing to let Kim give her his version of a makeover.
“I mean.. that could be fun. I may take you up on that-!”
Kim went back to saying that he’d convince her to participate in pranks.
“Breaking the rules, like you’ll get me to do that. Doubtful- very doubtful Kim.” she said, knowing that it would be difficult to convince her but again - if anyone could, it would be Kim.
