PV Hannah Blossom Sunday Morning Appointment Closed

After a bit of studying in the common room, Hannah remembered she had plans to meet up with Zach, she hoped she wouldn't be late.

The girl headed to her dormitory, grabbed a few books she thought Zach would enjoy reading, including the book she had been reading in Charms class, which she said she could borrow it after she finished, which she did, yesterday. Hannah enjoyed the book, not the best thing she ever read, but it was good.

She had breakfast, eggs and toast, then she headed to the common room, and studied for a little bit, then she got ready.

Hannah headed to the library, books in hand. Once the red-haired girl got there, she sat down at one of the tables to wait for Zach. After just a few minutes, Zach arrived at the library, he hadn't spotted Hannah though. She decided to go up to him. "Hey Zach! How are you?" said the girl, quietly.

"Come on, there's a table over there. I put some of my books there." she smiled, while walking over to the table. She sat down. "Based on your taste I thought of these books! Also, if you'd like I can ask one of the maids to owl some books. If you'd like! We have many books back at the library, so... if you name one we probably have it." she said smiling.

Zach was surprised to hear a girl calling his name even though it was just a soft and quiet voice. "Hannah!" he said while looking at the girl. "I'm great! I hope you are also doing well," he said while giving the girl a bright smile. His small white teeth were also shown unconsciously.

Hannah told him that she put some of her books on a table they were going to and Zach nodded along the girl's saying. When they arrived, the girl sat down. Zach followed her by pulling a chair beside her and sitting on it. A pile of books was already put on the table. It amazed him that the girl was already prepared for all of them. "Thank you so much!" Zach was genuinely happy. Not just the book on the table, she also offered him that she would send him some books from her home. Wait. She was confident enough saying if he named some books to her and she would send them because she probably had them. "Uh... Does your house have a big library?" He was already made some expectations in his head while waiting for the answer from Hannah.

Zach didn't bring all of his books from home to school, except for his school books and diary. He found the books boring and left them at home. If only he had known he would meet Hannah like this, he would have brought them all. "I didn't bring my books to school, but I found an interesting one here. Please wait for me while I go get it," he said to the girl with scarlet hair. Then he quickly disappeared into the shelves.

Once Zach had responded, she smiled. "I am doing great as well, thank you." she spoke. Hannah brought him to the table, and he followed her. She wasn't used to being in the library with company, she was usually here alone, so it was kind of weird. Something else weird was the fact that she had to whisper, since she wasn't used to talking in the library.

Then, Zach sat beside her. "Yes, of course. Your welcome!" she replied, with a warm, bright smile on her face. For once, she was happy. This wasn't pretty often, though, but she thought exchanging books was a fun idea. "Yeah, I guess so, I really enjoy spending hours at a time just reading..." "Do you like reading a lot too?" questioned the girl.

Hannah had actually brought quite a few books from the library and her own bedroom, unlike Zach. She had also brought her own journal and her school books, of course. However, if she wanted, Hannah could have books owled to her. She had to just owl her mother of send an owl to her house, and her maids would send the books to her. The boy then said he would go grab some books for her. "Oh uh, cool! Sure, go ahead." He then quickly disappeared into the shelves.

"Reading a lot?" said Zach responding to Hannah's question. "I like reading. Especially here, when all the electronic devices don't work. But not that much. I read when I just want to read," Zach answered. His first year was a bit hard because he didn't know what to do without the internet. Making friends was also not his talent. So, he read books when he had free time.

When he arrived at the fictional books section, he immediately searched for the book he wanted to recommend to Hannah. "Sher--" his eyes screening at the books' spine. "Sherlock -- ah!" he found the book. From the spine, he could read 'Sherlock Holmes by Arthur Conan Doyle'. The book was very thick and a little bit heavy. Maybe it was a sign for Zach to train his strength. Zach went back to Hannah with the book on his hand with the hope she hadn't read the book yet. The first time he found the book, he was a little bit surprised because the title was familiar to him. He was sure that the book was from muggle world.

Zach put the book on the table and said, "I recommend you this book. It is about the adventure of a detective called Sherlock Holmes and his friend ..." He stopped and tried to recall something, "Uh... If I am not wrong, his name is Watson. This book is famous between muggles and I was surprised when found this book here." Zach realized something and immediately asked, "Have you read this book?" If she had read the book, Zach must think what book he must bring to her next.

As he disappeared into the shelves, Hannah took one of the books she had brought, 'One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi'. Since Zach seemed to enjoy Herbology. He had founded his own herbology (one of Hannah's favorite classes) club. The girl was planning on joining.

She started looking through the books and it's contents. It talked about many herbs and their uses, the girl remembered reading the book when she was about seven years old.

"Right." She had recently learned how to use a phone and it seemed like a useful tool to have. She had one now, but it was at home.

Once he arrived back with a thick book, called 'Sherlock Holmes". Hannah had heard of the book, but never read it. She smiled. "I haven't read it, but it seems rather interesting. I brought this book, here!" she gave him the book she was holding.

Hannah was excited to read the book he had brought, but first. "Have you read it? I can only assume you like herbology, so I thought you would like it." she said, wondering if he had read it.

If he did, she would have to pick out another book from the stack she had called the pile in her mind.

"I hope the book is to your taste," he said while pushing the book toward the scarlet-haired girl. Then the girl gave him the book she was holding. "Oh, One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi?!" he exclaimed in an excited whispered voice. "No. I haven't read it. And this book might help me so much in the club. Thank you, Hannah." The boy gave the girl a bright smile. His eyes could be permanently wrinkled if he continued to smile like that.

"I am not that fan of herbology. But yeah, I like the class, especially when we are learning about the rather safe plant. You know... The plant that won't jump nor bite nor have venomous leaves. I like plants that have direct medical properties. That's why I tried to make the club," Zach explained to Hannah. "It's boring right? But I thought of bringing the more dangerous plant as I have enough knowledge," he said. "Of course with the permission from Professor McLoughlin," he weakly chuckled.

Zach knew he was in the library but he seemed can't keep his mouth shut. Hope no one was annoyed by his voice. "I actually curious about the wizards' household. As far as I know, wizards can't use electronics, right? Because... uh... it's magic disturbs the electricity waves or something thing. So, do you purely use magic in any activities? Like doing chores or communicating?"

She smiled. "Why thank you! It does seem quite flattering." It did seem like a interesting enough book to Hannah, so she would read. "Of course!" she said.

"Yes, me as well. I really like all of the plants though, but I understand." she grinned, and then heard his next words. "No! Of course not!" she said politely. It did not seem boring, and she was having a lot of fun.

Then, she heard his question. Hannah would answer it carefully, as she was from a wizard's household. "Yeah. No electricity, but there are other ways to have fun! Like reading. We do use magic in such activities like cleaning, sometimes cooking and packing as well as traveling in brooms." "Oh and we use letters like in Hogwarts to communicate." she said with a bright smile on her face.

"You are muggle-born right? How do you do these things?" she asked curiously. She hoped to get a clear answer. Maybe his parents were both squibs? Maybe he wasn't muggle-born after all. However it did seem like it.

"You know.. Sometimes I wish I was muggle-born. Telephones and televisions seem really cool! I've managed a cellphone once, but televisions? Nah, never. Wish I did though, they seem SO cool!" she commented.

Zach smiled at how Hannah responded to his saying. She was definitely kind and Zach somewhat felt warm around her. He wondered why he didn't know her from the first year. It must be very nice if he had befriended her since the first year.

When Hannah told him about the wizards' life without electricity, he was amazed. It was the same like muggles but they had their own ways. Using magic for house chores was really convenient. No matter how advanced technology was, Zach always thought that using magic was more practical in many ways. "That's really cool! I wish I could use magic in my house," he said. He was all excited until he heard that wizards still use letters to communicate with each other. "Letters? Like the one we do by sending our owl?" Because of this, Zach thought that muggle technology in communication was a little bit more advanced than wizards.

"Oh yeah! I'm the only wizard in my family. Both my parents are muggles. I don't know about my sisters as they haven't been 11 years old yet but my brother, Joel, is definitely a muggle. No professor was coming home to tell my family that he was a wizard last year." Then Zach suddenly felt shy as he thought he was giving too much information. His bad habit of blurting out came out again. "Uh... and we have some technologies relating to electricity to make our lives easier like..." he looked up to the ceiling to look up for an interesting thing to be mentioned, "like phones. We could quickly quickly communicate with each other. Mostly muggles' technology was not as convenient as wizards'. We still have to physically turn those things on and off."

Zach was giggling when Hannah said that she wished she was a muggle-born. Zach relaxed himself on the chair and then said, "You know what? I sometimes imagine what it would be like if I grew up in a wizarding world. It turns out you think otherwise." An idea suddenly came up above his head, "You can visit my house in Summer Holidays. I will show you how the muggle household is. And we could watch television together. Watching some channels or maybe a movie!" he said with excitement on his face.

The young Gryffindor looked at Zach and smiled back. He seemed really nice and kind, and he did seem muggle-born, but he also seemed smart. They also had similar tastes, like in Herbology and reading.

Hannah sometimes wished she didn't have magic in her house, and she was shocked when she found out that Zach wanted to have magic in his household. "Sometimes magic isn't very useful, but it's nice to have it at home." she spoke. "Yes, like the ones we use here at Hogwarts. I only talk to my parents that way." she responded, she remembered using a phone for the first time, well she didn't use it so it was just in her room.

The girl then heard his words with interest. "Well that's nice! But.. don't you feel like an outsider sometimes back at home? Or is it totally normal?" she asked him, because to her, if she was the only witch in a muggle household, she would definitely feel like an outsider. Thankfully, that wasn't her case.

"Well, that's nice! I do have a phone since I visited a friend who is a muggle and I got a phone and set it up, well I don't use it a lot since I don't have many, what's it called? Phone numbers! Yeah, I don't have many of those."

"Really? It's just a little different I guess." she said. "That seems like a good idea! You can spend Christmas break with us or just a few days before Christmas, well we are throwing a ball, but it's for pure-bloods only, well perhaps you can come!" she said, happy, with a smile on her face.
