A New Enemy is Born
Winona was no longer finding this funny or amusing, more annoying, I could tell. I smiled, Winona deserved it, she was being unreasonably awful to me! I smiled as she insulted me, was that a little evil of me, maybe. Winona waved her wand and said a spell so quick I wasn't sure what it was. Then, all of a sudden, my whole body started to tickle like crazy. I broke down onto the floor, laughing, I felt like a fool, but I couldn't help myself. It started to feel really bad, and my stomach hurt from laughing. After about 45 seconds of torture, the effects of the spell finally started to wear off. Now that I could actually focus, I was even more mad at her, furious in fact. She had pulled her wand on me for that.
She thinks that I'm worth nothing I thought. She would pay for the spell and that remark. I glared at her, my eyes like daggers. This pure-blooded girl probably thought that I was going to cast something on her as well, but no I'm a half-blood, raised to fight without a wand. I balled up my fist and extended my arm. I pelted her in the face with a nice punch that knocked her glasses off! Winona was shocked, and angry, as well as offended. I smiled, but punching hurts more than I thought it would, but defiantly not as much as getting punched that's for sure. I smiled, Winona finally got what she deserved!

Winona purposefully chose a non-violent spell, mostly to avoid getting into trouble, but also because, despite the whole argument they had, barbaric acts of violence would not suit a young lady, which she believed she was. As the blonde girl endured the funny torture with no means to stop her laughter, the Slytherin stood by and watched the whole thing with a straight face. She expected the other girl to lash out in anger, talk rudely, or whip out her own wand. Never in a million years would she be able to anticipate the Ravenclaw's next move.
Before she knew it, she felt a sudden impact on her face and the whole world became blurry. The clueless girl could not figure out what was going on in the instance and just froze in shock. It took a few seconds for tiny drips of blood to come out of her nose. With each breath, she could feel just how intense the pain was. The punch was quite strong, especially for someone so young. Winona herself was a tiny, feeble girl who had never once in her life been hit by another person. This pain she felt was so new and so uncomfortable. With a timid movement of her shaky hand, she touched her face and immediately let out a whimper of pain. She wanted to scream and cry, but with this girl around, she would rather die than show such a big sign of weakness.
For now, Winona knew she had to find her glasses and get herself to the hospital wing. She bit her lower lip to help endure the pain and knelt down to get a better look on the floor, hoping to find the glasses. Everything was so blurry. "Where are they..." she mumbled. Her previously hateful voice now sounded shaky and defeated. The situation was a huge déjà vu; she had dropped her glasses before sometime in the past, and been very mean to the person who tried to help her. Why was she mean to that person in the first place? She definitely needed help now, and no one was there to lend her a hand. She kept looking around, and her already horrible eyesight started to become even blurrier, thanks to the tears forming in her eyes. "I can't find them..." Her voice clearly conveyed that she was on the verge of tears. The narcissistic, spiteful, malicious girl who had been so full of hatred was now starting to break down. She had never felt so weak before. Soon enough, she noticed the taste of blood in her mouth. Tasted like rusty metal. It was horrible and nauseating.
"I hate you." Winona spoke once again. But this time, her words had no malice or intention to provoke the other girl. What she felt was much more complex than hating the younger student, but this was how much she was able to communicate her feelings. Still, her words were sincere.
