History/Background Story:
Samantha Tyler is a shy, polite pureblood witch from London. She was not surprised to receive her Hogwarts letter nor were any members of her family, however, she is quite nervous about it and fears she will be a disappointment to them. She is also quite apprehensive about her sorting and where she may end up.
She has light brown hair which is probably going to become a bit mousy in a few years, green-grey-blue eyes and fair skin. She is short and slim built, so it is easy for her to disappear within a crowd.
Her parents (Roger and Annie Tyler) both attended Hogwarts, as did most of her family members, however, they did not date until they found each other a few years later at the Ministry for Magic. Roger went on to become an Auror while Annie decided to stay at home and entertain. She is the primary parent who has raised Samantha, as Roger is often away on business. Samantha was basically given whatever she wanted as appeasement for being raised in such an erratic matter, and so has become a bit spoiled and believes that she has a right to have something just because she wants it (no other reason).
The first sign that Samantha was magical occurred when she was 5. It was late at night and she was thirsty. Her parents were both off attending some social event, and she could see the pitcher of water across the room. There was an empty cup on the nightstand by the bed. Wanting the water right that instant, Samantha put her full concentration on it and was able to get it to come to her after a few attempts. Naturally her parents were thrilled, as this was firm confirmation of the fact that she was a witch.
Being a brand new student she has no experience at Hogwarts, but looks forward to learning all there is to know about magic and making new friends!
