CHASERS

Right as the game began, a certain Aryaan Shamsi decided to take one for the team and commit to cheating: specifically, quaffle-pocking. As he tampered with the Quaffle, no one was any the wiser. This would give his team a leg up, or so he hoped.

People from each team attacked the Quaffle. Mahoutokoro-Koldovstoretz’s Keeper, Egon Gushiken, would join his team’s Chaser Rosella in the fight against Beauxbatons-Castelobruxo’s Katherine Felix and River Fayre. The competition would prove fierce, and Beauxbatons-Castelobruxo would take the lead, with Katherine Felix scoring three goals for the team and River Fayre scoring one. Rosella Sokolov would score one goal for Mahoutokoro-Koldovstoretz.

The crowd would cheer loudly for the impressive show put on by the Chasers. This was a good start to the game, and with luck for either side, things would continue to go well. Chasers André Alarie and Ritsu Okazaki, who did not participate in the Quaffle grab, instead scoured the sky for falling, conscious teammates, likely hoping there would be no one in need of saving.

BEATERS

The Beaters were out for blood.

Mahoutokoro-Koldovstoretz’s Chikao Narumi went for a backbeat on Beauxbatons-Castelobruxo’s Seeker, Raul Otávio Vinicius Mirales Correa. Try as he might, Raul was not quick enough to evade the bludger sent at him. He was knocked unconscious, so he would plummet to the ground without a chance to be saved.

Beaxbatons-Castelobruxo’s team of Beaters, Quentin Gagné and Monet Èlisa Navarro-Gallay, went for a Dopplebeater Defense against Mahoutokoro-Koldovstoretz’s Seeker, Miharu Goto. Everything about their form was precise ─ how could they not hit if they combined all of their abilities? However, there was something in the air. Perhaps it was the rain, but they would stall at the last moment. The bludger might have knocked Miharu off of her broom, but alas, some strange force stopped Quentin and Monet from hitting the bludger at all.

SEEKERS

Seekers Raul Otávio Vicinius Mirales Correa and Miharu Goto searched for the Snitch. Miharu would be unable to find any luck (or the Snitch), despite her valiant efforts. Raul, however, would be knocked off of his broom. Right before he fell unconscious, a glint of gold would flutter into his sight. However, he passed out shortly after, falling through the sky towards the unrelenting grass below him.

Health and Post Tracker

Goals were a lot easier when there wasn't a Keeper in the way. Her first grab towards the quaffle was more about being the fastest there, rushing over to grab the ball before others started moving and making her way over to the empty goals as quickly as possible to get a score. It would only occur to her then that it was the other team's Keeper acting as their second Chaser, a 2 v 2 on scores. She wouldn't nearly make it back on time to compete for the next round, instead able to cheer on her teammate and potentially distract or get in the way of the other team to make a clearer path.

The third time around Kit was properly in position to snatch the quaffle once more, happy to see that River was only one step behind and already back in the game. Scoring against no one at all wasn't nearly as entertaining, although the idea of the Keeper trailing behind in order to try and snatch the quaffle was a little funny. That was when the Beauxbatons-Castelobruxo streak would end, the other team grappling it away and tossing it through with some ease despite Delphine in the hoops. Ah well, four out of five was nice as Kit scooped it up once again to score against the open hoops- certainly better than some of their other players were doing, grimacing a bit as she watched their Seeker plummet to the ground.

As soon as the game had started, Miharu immediately went to do her role and that's to find the snitch. She moved in the air, eyes on her surroundings in an attentive manner for any sign of the fast moving golden blur but unlike the one during the practice match before, she had no luck in terms of locating it. Not a glimpse of the golden winged ball came into view but there were others that caught her attention.

The opponent scored on them with their hoops unattended by their keeper who had joined in the fray of contesting the quaffle but their opponents proved to be better at it, scoring 4 points against them. Well, that was just the start. They could still catch up. Now, what she should be keeping an eye on are the bludgers that could come her way aside from the golden snitch. Lucky for them, one of those bludgers had hit their opponent's seeker in which she winced when he hit the grassy plains below. That could be her. She knows how rough Quidditch can be. The practice match was already intense with the bludgers and players attempting to knock each other off of their brooms; she expects the official matches to be just as intense.

Perhaps that's where her luck went, not in finding the snitch but rather, not finding herself in the path of bludger nor a player. While she was expecting an attack from their opponent, nothing came her way, surprisingly enough.

Rosella took a nervous breath as the game began and she was in the air. She would be able to do this, there was no reason to be terrified at all. Things seemed to go Rosella's way though because she somehow managed to get them points. Okay, so maybe things were not going to be so bad because they had also managed to knock out the other teams seeker as well. Yes, things were definitely looking up for her whether she fully believed it or not.

Agata watched from the bench as her team scored! This game was a completely different playing field, even with mostly the same team they were versing. She bit her lip as goal after goal was scored, the points racking up tremendously. It wasn't until she heard a sickening smack that her eyesight was drawn to Raul. She watched with a sinking feeling as the older Castelo boy fell unrelentingly from his broom towards the ground. Well there went their seeker...

Delphine floated above the goals and watched as the chasers tussled for the quaffle. She grinned as the Beauxbatons chasers would turn out victorious more often than not. They were good she knew. It was only once that the other team would grab possession of the quaffle. As the chaser came closer to her, she veered to block the ball and yet...it went through like a knife in soft butter. Easy and clean. She cursed herself. Her first move and it was wrong. She would be better.

The game started off high-paced, and Egon was forced to come up and fill in Aryaan's missing Chaser spot, even as beaters on both sides seemed ready to get into action.

A bit late into the action, Aryaan floated up next to the unfamiliar Chaser on their line-up in a pause between scrimmages. He hadn't played with this one before, and she probably wasn't used to the team working around him never being where he should be. "Yoooo. Nice Quaffle plays over there." An easy grin, but the grip on his broom tightened; ready to zoom off at a moment's notice. "Bet this is is of the weirder games of Quid you've played recently."
