Finished Starting the Year with a Bang! PV Lea H. & Winona K.

Being offered help was the last thing Winona wanted at the moment, and yet it still happened. The stubborn Slytherin could view it as nothing more than an attempt to belittle her – an unbearable sign of weakness on her part. As Raizel and Lea insisted on escorting her to the hospital wing, she felt too tired and stressed to continue refusing and acting tough. She took off her glasses for a brief moment to wipe her teary eyes with the sleeve of her robe before little drops could wet her pale cheeks. "I get it, I lost; you don't have to rub it in my face!" the young girl sounded defeated; there was no sign of the determination and competitiveness in her voice compared to before.

Even the mere thought of falling down the stairs or being levitated to the hospital wing was embarrassing enough for her face to flush in a red hue. "Just so you know, I can take care of myself just fine," she desperately wanted this day to be over. But before giving in and accepting their aid, she felt the need to announce how she did not need anyone. "But if you want to help so much, just let me hold onto your arm for support." she lowered her voice slightly, hoping no one else would hear her. Her confused gaze switched between the two girls, wondering which one of them would offer an arm. Winona had a hard time deciding which one would be worse, though – her opponent in the duel who let her face a horrible defeat, or the Gryffindor who watched her get the horrible defeat.

"Fine fine fine, you can take care of yourself." Raizel responded with a roll of her eyes, a bit annoyed by how the Slytherin girl was acting. As much as Winona wanted this to be over with, she too, would want to finally move on and take this stubborn girl to the hospital wing and leave her alone. She was tired, not physically of course, but mentally with how hard it is to handle this girl's pride and ego. Would've been nice if this duel ended rather peacefully than finding herself in this situation.

If she was so fine, she wouldn't even need the wall for support, was something that Raizel had been thinking but speaking it out loud isn't the smartest thing to do in this current situation.

"Now take hold." She offered her arm to Winona before glancing over to Lea. "Or would you rather hold on to her?" She asked as she does want to give her a choice. She had the urge to just grab her arm earlier and drag her to the hospital wing really but she fought that thought out of her mind. The idea of levitating her to the hospital wing that Lea just mentioned was also tempting. The sooner they get her to the hospital wing, the sooner they can go their separate ways just like what the older Hufflepuff said and finally take a break.

The Gryffindor looked back at Winona once more, waiting for her response to her question. While there is a possibility that she probably prefers not to hold on to any one of them, she doesn't exactly have a choice here and Lea would definitely cast the levitation spell on her if she doesn't pick any one of them right now.

The decision Winona had to make felt horribly tough. What may seem like two sweet young students being ready to help, was a disgraceful and ego-threatening situation for the Slytherin. She was definitely thinking too deeply about the matter. On one side, if she held onto Lea, whose only interaction was sweeping the floor of the duelling club with her, it would cause the younger girl to feel horribly inferior. Raizel on the other hand, whom she did not like in the slightest to begin with, was most likely offering help just to look good, just like that time she fixed her glasses. Maybe she did not even remember the fight - hence why she acted neutral and offered to be the moderator.

Winona let out a sigh, and held onto the Gryffindor's arm with her left hand, wrapping her right arm around for further support. She was terrified that someone she knew would see them like this and think they were good friends walking arm in arm. Her injuries on their own did not interfere her from being able to walk, but her fatigue was making it hard for her to stay balanced on her feet. Using Raizel for balance really looked like she was hugging her arm. Oh, how I wish I could poison these two with a whole liter of forgetfulness potion, she thought. The fact that they were going to remember this incident felt so uncomfortable that the girl who had been talking rudely left and right remained quiet, too embarrassed to say anything or look at anyone. With timid movements, she started walking towards the door, to leave the duelling club and most likely never take another step in there.

Raizel had been expecting Winona to take the older girl's hand considering that the two of them had a history. That was such a long time ago but it was still fresh in her mind. There, on the floor, looking for something, that's when she saw this Slytherin girl. She won't lie, she was curious and genuinely worried about her that time and she was even willing to help her out. Unfortunately, she stepped on her glasses but she did fix it in the end though and she thought that was it but, no.

More followed after that and apparently, Raizel had chosen the wrong person to help at that time in which she is regretting now. Then again, not like she could walk away in a situation where she sees someone in need. She definitely needs to work on that habit of hers if it'll just cause her trouble. Anyway, yes, not a good first impression for the Gryffindor and she swears that she never wants to have anything to do with Winona after that. But here she is, finding herself in a similar situation.

Should've left her but no, she can't. As much as she wants to, she can't and only for a simple reason: She can't leave someone who needs assistance and she needs to take responsibility as the moderator for this duel, ensuring the safety and well-being of the duelists. Too much? Probably but hey, that's just how she goes.

Winona had wrapped her arms around hers, prompting Raizel to hold onto the girl for better support. She doesn't seem so bad when she's quiet like this. With that now settled, it is time to go to the Hospital Wing and get her treated, being careful not to let her fall with every step they take.
