Closed A Walk Around the Lake PV Cassie

Cassie arrives at the Great Lake as she has appointed with her friend Danielle to take a walk around the Great Lake after dinner. Danielle, her new friend waves at her as she arrives, and calls her name. 'Hello Danielle!' Cassie says, waving back. 'It is such a nice evening for a walk, right?' Cassie says as she walks on the road around the Great Lake with Danielle.

'Let's find something to talk about. What do you want to chat with me?' Cassie asks. 'What about academics? How is your study recently? Did you meet any difficulties?' Study, this is what Cassie likes to talk about the most. 'I am quite confident from my final exam this year, I think I can perform well and definitely get all Os. I really find History of Magic very boring, though. I hate having to make myself awake every lesson. It is awful. Did you feel sleepy every lesson?'

Cassie says, remembering how terrible it is wanting to fall asleep but she can't, to keep a good grade. If only it can be as fun as Astronomy! Without knowing, they had already walked for quite a long distance. Cassie listens carefully to what Danielle is saying.

Cassie waved back, hearing Dani's call. "I know, right?" she replied to her comment on the weather. The two girls started walking, and Cassie chose to start the conversation.
"I'm doing pretty good, I think. For me, History of Magic is quite interesting, but what really gets me stuck is Transfigurations. All the talk of atoms and particles are quite hard to grasp, although I hear muggle students learn this too when they're around our age. Isn't that interesting? I wonder what would happen if you gave a suitable wand to a muggle who was familiar and knowledgable in the field."
After her long train of thought, she paused to let Cassie speak and replied, "Sometimes I get tired in class, too. Probably not enough sleep. How many hours do you get every night? I get around eight or nine. Thankfully I figured out the Great Hall's cups can pour me coffee. Would you like some every-flavor beans?" She held them out for Cassie to choose from.
At this time, their starting point was already far behind them, and Danielle was glad she had chosen a comfortable pair of shoes to go walking and hanging out in. The sun had become very low in the sky, casting an orange glow to the lake. Danielle wished she had brought a camera.

Cassie keeps walking while chatting with Danielle, her pretty Ravenclaw friend. 'Oh! It is wonderful that your History of Magic is quite nice, perhaps you can help me form interest in it? I like Transfiguration, I can teach you somehow! Perhaps I can teach you some time in the common room? When do you usually have time? I have heard about it, I think it is called Physics. It is quite different though, the things they learn are thought to be even harder! I also tried Maths, another Muggle subject, but it is so difficult! I cannot imagine how Muggle students live!'

Cassie sighs, imagining the lives of Muggle students. 'I sleep around eight to night hours too.' Cassie replies. 'I do not like the bitterness of coffee, I like black tea instead. They suit perfectly with milk. It works too when I am sleepy. Oh yes, thank you very much Danielle!' Cassie picks a blue one, blue is her favourite colour. 'Hmm...' she says while chewing on the bean. 'Blueberry! Glad I got a nice one, I once tasted vomit, that feeling, urgh!' Cassie wants to vomit even when she thought about it. 'You want some lemon drops? Some tasty muggle sweets.' She pulls some yellow candies from her pocket.

"Of course!" Danielle responded to Cassie's idea that they tutor each other in their respective toughest subjects. "I've never had a study buddy before," she mentioned with a laugh. "I'm usually in the common room after classes have ended, in the armchairs on the left side of the room. We can meet in the study room or on the grounds too, if the weather is nice." Danielle found that staying in one place while studying quickly decreased her focus, so she preferred to change her study space here and there.
Listening to her new friend talk about Muggle subjects, she wondered how Cassie had gotten her hands on such knowledge. She decided to ask, since learning more about other worlds wasn't something she could easily turn down.
"How were you able to learn Muggle subjects? They sound pretty interesting. Did you grow up in the Muggle world? Sorry if that's a sensitive topic. I'm pureblooded, but I don't care if you're a muggle or half-blood or whatever," she quickly clarified.
Cassie picked out a blue bean from the small packet in her outstretched hand, and declared it was blueberry flavored.
"I got salt just now, you're lucky! I've never had lemon drops before," Danielle said, and took one. It tasted way sweeter than an actual lemon, which was surprising. In the Wizarding World, they really took 'every flavor beans' seriously.
