No Place I'd Rather Be
The Rehearsal Room was curiously quiet when Elena entered, but she was happy enough without the usual other students. She eventually got bored of practicing flute music, and that's when she went up onto the stage to sing.
"We're a thousand miles from comfort, we have travelled land and sea, but as long as you are with me, there's no place I'd rather be. I would wait forever, exalted in the scene, as long as I am with you, my heart continues to beat." Elena smiled and started to dance, With every step we take, Kyoto to The Bay, strolling so casually, we're different and the same, gave you another name, switch up the batteries."
Elena sang louder, it was a nice day to be alone here, it was raining outside and so the water droplets on the windows added the base line for her.
If you gave me a chance I would take it! It's a shot in the dark but I'll make it, know with all of your heart, you can't shame me! When I am with you, there's no place I'd rather be!" Elena spun around, "N-n-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be! N-n-n-no, no, no, no place I'd rather be!"
I'm weak my love.

No Place I'd Rather Be
Sonya pushed open the door to the rehearsal room excitedly. Practicing singing was really the best part of her day and she always looked forward to it. When she entered the room she discovered a girl on the stage singing, it was Elena Jones. She knew Elena from band and theater club, so she wasn't a stranger at least. She seemed quite nice and Sonya wanted to hang out with her at some point. Still, she hadn't talked to her all that much outside of clubs. Maybe she'd get a chance today.
The girl hadn't spotted her yet so she walked deeper into the room and leaned against a side wall, watching Elena sing. She had lots of talent and Sonya could tell she really enjoyed it. She was dancing around with the song which made Sonya smile. She liked seeing people enjoy themselves and it looked like Elena was doing just that. Sonya herself loved singing and preforming more than anything and wanted to know more people who loved it as well. That's why she joined so many performance clubs, so she could meet more people similar to her.
Elena finished her song perfectly and Sonya started clapping with a grin on her face. "Hey Elena," she greeted with a smile, "That was amazing!"

Elena almost jumped in surprise, she was so caught up in the song that she hadn't even noticed Sonya coming in. The blue haired girl blushed a little at the compliment, she didn't really sing like that if she knew someone was watching, but this was the second time so far someone had managed to walk in on her. Ero ended up being pretty cool though, but Elena knew for a fact that this Hufflepuff was awesome.
Sonya was very clever and very talented. She was in every kind of musical club in the school, and ran the Theatre Arts club. Elena admired her initiative in making a club, and was excited to see her name show up on the sing-up sheet for Elena's own club, she figured if they collaborated it could only end well.
Elena smiled brightly at the other girl, "Thanks Sonya, I didn't even see you coming in! We could jam for a while if you want? I know we haven't really hung out much before."
"And thanks for signing up for my club, it's really cool to have you. I'm really excited to do some more stuff with you, and also thanks for letting me into yours, it's going to be awesome!"

Vales had no clue where she was. The library was on the fourth floor, but the girl had decided to explore, instead. And now, she was lost. Or at least, she believed she was. Walking down the seemingly endless hallway, Vales heard a lovely singing voice. A small smile found it's way to Vales's face, and she headed towards the voice, wanting to hear more.
The voice was coming from a room, and Vales thought that she had accidentally stumbled by the choir room. Well, if it was, at least Vales could go sign up for choir! She didn't have an AMAZING voice, but didn't consider herself a terrible singer either.
Finally arriving where the voice was coming from, Vales heard another voice, this time talking. Maybe this wasn't the choir room, was she even welcome? The girl shrunk back, ready to leave, but quickly decided against it. Maybe the people inside the room were nice? So instead, Vales took a deep breath and pushed the door open.
There were two people inside, and they looked like they knew each other already. Vales took a deep breath, trying to get rid of the anxiety that she got every time she talked to new people. Alas, they had probably heard the door open, and realized that Vales was there. She gave a weak smile, stepping a little more inside the room before talking.
"Hello, I'm sorry if I'm interrupting you, I just heard a really pretty voice in the hallway and wanted to check it out." Vales said softly, fighting the urge to run away.

Sonya smiled and nodded as Elena spoke. She liked the idea of jamming out with har and getting to know each other a bit better. Still, she was a bit worried that their musical tastes would be conflicting. Sonya was very much a show tune kind of person and Elena seemed more hip with newer music. To be honest Sonya didn't know much, if anything, about music that other people considered normal. Nevertheless, she wanted to try to make some music and bond with the girl.
"I'd love to hang out and jam a bit," she laughed, "And really, I can't wait to hang out in our clubs. You're really talented." Elena really was a talented girl. Not many people could play so many instruments and have an excellent singing voice. Sonya was glad to have come across her.
She then looked off to the side when she thought she heard something. That something was a girl who had opened up the door and was walking over to her and Elena. The girl looked slightly worried and Sonya smiled at her when she approached and spoke. "Hi!" She greeted, "You're not interrupting at all. And Elena does have an awesome voice! I honestly wouldn't be surprised if she drew people in here."

Elena grinned, she hadn't expected her singing to get so many compliments. Especially from someone she'd never met before, or Sonya, who she thought was a musical angel when she saw her at the Enchanted Souls auditions. The newcomer seemed faintly familiar, as if she'd been near Elena but not actually talked to her before.
Elena blushed again when Sonya said she had an awesome voice, she was completely confident in all of her instruments but when it came to actual singing she didn't really think much of her skills. Although she kept getting told she was good, so maybe there was some truth in their words.
"Thanks so much! It's nice to meet you, as Sonya said, I'm Elena. Welcome to the Rehearsal Room, and you are definitely not interrupting." Elena smiled at the newcomer, trying to place her face, "Do you play any instruments or sing? If you do we maybe we could sing together sometime, or I'll play my fiddle, or my flute. I've been looking for someone to sing Shatter Me with if either of you are interested. Oh! I know where I remember you from. You were at the cheer tryouts! Vales, I think, it's great to properly meet."

Instantly, a small smile appeared on Vales's face. So she wasn't intruding, thank god. The young girl would've died from embarrassment if she had! Vales stepped farther into the room, getting closer to the two girls, so they could continue their conversation. She recognized both of the girls now, after stepping closer to them. Elena was at the cheerleading tryouts, Vales remembered that she had been impressed by the girl's routine and freestyle, and the other one...Sonya, was the leader of the Theater Arts club, which she had gone to an audition of the other day! Both of the tryouts were Vales trying to get herself to meet new people, and she was happy that she had the possibility to become friends with some of the people in those clubs! For Vales, it was easier to talk to people she had seen around before, and now realizing that she had seen these two around, Vales felt more comfortable.
"Oh thank god!" Vales started, a bigger smile slowly appearing on her face as she talked," It would've been awkward if I had interrupted!" The girl listened to the rest of Elena's sentence before replying again."Oh! I have played the piano for years, along with taking singing lessons. I've also done ballet for years. Do either of you dance?"

Sonya smiled at the girl who opened up a bit once they spoke. The girl was familiar, she remembered she had auditioned for her club. She believed her name was something beginning with a V. V..... she was trying to remember what she said her name was. Elena then stated she recalled that it was Vales. A lovely name. She was very glad Elena remembered, it would have felt so awkward to ask. Sonya then decided to answer Vales' question.
"I dance!" she spoke excitedly, "I've done ballet, tap, and jazz for years and I've done a little bit of ballroom." She realized that all of her dance experience might sound excessive but Sonya found it necessary. After all, theater was what she wanted to do for the rest of her life, it made sense to have a strong dance base.
Sonya then turned to Elena about her question. "Shatter Me?" Sonya asked, "Is that the one by Lindsey Stirling? If it is then I would love to!" She had listened to Lindsey Stirling quite a bit before and admired her skill. She would love to be able to play violin but now she could just play cello and piano, although that wasn't bad for someone of her age.

The only dancing Elena had really done in that past were the jumps and spins that accompanied her playing stringed instruments, it was more about the tempo of the music than actual dance moves or learned choreography. She'd read a couple of books on the subject before, but none of it had really stuck, leaving Elena with nothing but instrumentation for company.
Elena ran her hands through her hair, "I don't really dance that much, but I signed up for the ballet club, so I guess I'll be learning!"
"Lindsey Stirling, that's the one! I love her music, one of the reasons I learned fiddle actually, I haven't actually met anyone else that liked her music enough to want to play it with me. Hold on." Elena jogged over to her instruments and pulled the fiddle case out from under her flute, "Come on, please tell me I didn't leave you in my dorm."
Luckily the fiddle was, in fact, there. So she was suitably relieved as she strolled back to the duo, beaming at her two new friends.
"I remembered to actually bring it! Hooray!" Elena waved the case in triumph, "Thought I might have brought my viola by accident for a second there, crisis averted. Do you want to play too Vales?"
