SPECTATOR THREAD FOR QUIDDITCH
QUIDDITCH - MAHOUTOKORO-KOLDOVSTORETZ vs BEAUXBATONS-CASTELOBRUXO - SUMMER 2023
This afternoon was overcast with clouds and gentle rain providing a respite from whatever heat summer could afford to give. The sun would attempt to peek through the blanket of clouds with little success, and the rain would come and go throughout the day. Hints of summer warmth held strong in the air despite light breezes sending raindrops awry.Date: Saturday, 29 July 2023
Time: 14:00
Weather: Overcast, gentle rain, decent visibility.
The Quidditch Pitch's surroundings spoke of summer: trees were filled with bundles of green leaves, and emerald blades of grass sparkled when raindrops landed on them. The visibility was decent, not too bright or too foggy to impair one’s sight. However, any Quidditch players would run the risk of getting rain in their eyes if they weren’t careful.
Crowds would begin to file into the stands, students and professors from schools all over the world. If there was one thing the audience members had in common other than being wizarding folk, it was clearly their enthusiasm for Quidditch.
This Quidditch game would be played between students from Mahoutokoro and Koldovstoretz on one team and students from Beauxbatons and Castelobruxo on the other. The teams would assemble, and the announcer would call out their names. Where had he come from? He had sidled into the announcer's box, hidden as best he could be. Now, though, he introduced the teams playing to the audience in the stands.
'I’m sure everyone playing Quidditch today will be very talented. Our teams ─ Mahoutokoro-Koldovstoretz and Beauxbatons-Castelobruxo ─ will not disappoint. And one of them will win!' The announcer punctuated his words with a wave of his arms. Rain spattered onto the pitch.
When the Quaffle, Bludgers and Snitch were released, the announcer cackled maniacally. 'Best of luck to both teams, may the odds be ever in your favour, yada yada... Let us begin.'

Dylan had always heard that Damion had gone to support the people he had a crush on or was dating. Yes he knew that Damion had a crush on a younger Gryffindor boy- Kim Sato and was dating a Hufflepuff boy named Hades Schweighöfer. What type of a name was Hades? Well if Damion was happy with Hades, Dylan had no issues with that. However, if Dylan ever heard Hades hurting Damion then Dylan would get really angry at Hades for doing so. But as long as Damion was happy he was happy too.
Well putting on some shorts and shirt, he made his way to the Quidditch Pitch. Today was an exciting day for Dylan. His boyfriend, Egon was going to play a Quidditch match against Beauxbations-Castelobruxo. It was going to be interesting. He was not gonna lie, this was the first match he was going to witness. Well it was a match worth watching to be honest with his boyfriend on the team, he knew who he was going to support.
"Woohoo!! YAY Egon!!" Dylan cheered when he saw Egon enter the field. He looked so handsome and pretty in the school robe. Dylan clapped his hands and cheered Egon on. He was really hoping that the team Egon was on would win. But it was too soon in the game to predict that. Seeing that the game was just starting.
