Let me be honest, I don't like the study room, or studying in general. However, I'm not here to stare at dusty old textbooks until my eyes water and I nod off to sleep, I'm here to practice. Practice what? Spells, of course! You know, the fun part! I need to do that much more often, honestly. I had brought a pair of sunglasses, a bucket of water, and a piece of cloth, though I kind of wished I could ask somebody to help me, though.
I hadn't really practised spell-casting in a minute! Sure, I had done it before, but last I recall, I had set my homework on fire with a simple Incendio, witnessed by a boy with a strong New Jersey accent. And funny, that was in this exact room. Honestly, that was kind of stupid, especially because I knew I was practising Incendio, and it was stupid to practise the spell on homework. But, I'm more prepared this time, luckily.
I put on a pair of red aviator sunglasses, which I always kept on me. I took a few steps back. I wasn't going to light anything on fire, luckily, though I might(which was why I brought a bucket of water, just in case). If so, then definitely not right now. I raised my wand and said the Sunlight Spell, "Lumos Solem!" A cascade of light filled the room. I really hoped that nobody walked in, since I think you could be blinded by the spell! But it was empty right now, so I had nothing to worry about.

OOC note:
It was late afternoon when Sage started past the study room in her Hufflepuff robes. She was on her way to the Hufflepuff Common Room. It was a normal day, normal place, normal people, normal Tuesday, except for the bright light shining out into the hall from the study room. Sage nearly tripped over her feet she was so surprised to see the light. She turned and cautiously made her way into the room. There, standing in the room with a raised wand, was a redheaded girl wearing red glasses of some sort. The room was filled with a blinding light, undoubtedly from the girl’s wand. The girl, dressed in Hufflepuff robes, seemed older than Sage. She had to be at least a second year. Sage lifted her left hand to guard her eyes from the light.
“Um, excuse me, but, what’s with the light?” asked Sage, waving her other hand at the light in the room. Carefully, Sage lowered her hand trying to block the light from her eyes and squinted at the girl at an attempt to act like the light didn’t bother her. Sage stepped forward a bit and extended her right hand to the girl to shake her hand.
“I’m Sage. Nice to meet you. What’s your name?” Sage greeted the girl. Sage brushed back strands of her brown hair that had fallen into her face while she waited for the girl’s response.
