A heavy day

Daffy was in the Great Hall.
It had been a hard and heavy day.
She stuffed a piece of mashed potato into her mouth without much enthusiasm.
She sighed.
She couldn't take it anymore, the only thing he wanted to do was go to bed.
I was exhausted.
A Ravenclaw girl approached her.
Excuse me, have you seen my friend Ellen?
I'm sorry, I don't know who she is," she replied in a tired voice.
Oh well, it's okay, I'll find her," she said.
And she started to give him a speech about her family, her friends...
Daffy listened irritated, she was bored by this conversation but she didn't want to be rude.
The girl realized that Daffy wasn't paying much attention to her and ended her explanation with a goodbye.
Daffy looked at the cream of potato in front of him.
Her grandmother did it magnificently.
She began to think about the next day, she would advance a couple of homework, she Daffy was studious and she liked to bring her things up to date.
She wanted her family to be proud of her.
With so many siblings it was hard to stand out but she still wanted to make her family proud.

It had been a good day for Hannah, but she was still tired. The girl had managed to finish some of her homework before dinner.
She headed to dinner and then sat down next to a red headed girl who was already eating. Hannah hadn't recognized her, and she looked younger than Hannah, so she was probably a first year.
She grabbed a scoop of mashed potatoes and stuffed it into her mouth. Once she swallowed the mashed potatoes, she asked "Hi! What's your name? I don't think I've seen you around. Maybe." with a slight smile on her face.
Hannah looked at the girl. Then she looked back at her food, and ate some of her chicken. The girl thought of what she would do after dinner. Head to the common room... finish some homework, and uh. I'm forgetting something. Write in my journal, then... Sleep! Hannah was having some trouble sleeping, that was for an unknown reason. Last night, she slept at two in the morning, and she was very tired.
Her cat was also up all night under her bed, honestly, because she slept all day, so she was up all night under her bed, but she didn't make much sound. "What dorm are you in?" asked Hannah, while she still looked at her food.
